Our family of 4 adults and 2 kids (4y old and 6m old) stayed at this property for 6 nights in early October. The pictures are accurate and the house felt roomy, though a bit more soft furnishings and rugs would have upped the comfort level. The patio and pool were also both nice to haves. Weather was hit/miss this time of year, so we didn't use them as much as we wanted.
Well in advance of our stay, Martine and JL were responsive to my questions about the house and the area, even giving me some pointers on how to arrange a guided bike tour (I went with a rented bike and pre-loaded bike routes). Check in itself was relatively smooth, though the person that services the house doesn't speak english, which is a little difficult if you don't speak french. The local bottle of wine on the table was a nice welcoming gesture from the hosts!
You're on the edge of st-remy, so while it's walkable via a bike path, it's more feasible to drive. Being the end of the tourist season, we had no problem finding parking around the town to pop in to a boulangerie or the local Spar grocery store. In the end, we loved our distance from the cute towns around the Alpilles region.
Overall, the house is a reasonable value for the money, especially if you're able to take advantage of the pool and outdoor area a bit more than we did.
