For those who like a quaint and quiet place to stay, this is it. The gîte itself is quite small, but everything you need for a holiday is there, and the garden is huge. The photos are true to reality. The pool was cleaned and maintained daily. Supermarkets are only 5 min. away by car. We like to ride our bicycles, and the region provides ample small roads and beautiful scenery. All in all, we had a very nice week here, we're already thinking about going back.

Nous avons passés une semaine au top au gîte d'Emma avec ma petite famille. Dans le calme au milieu des vignes, des champs... Une tres belle rencontre avec Emma, Didier et leurs enfants. Ils sont de tres bon conseils pour les activités, restaurants.... je recommande ++++

Familienurlaub im Département Charente-Maritime

Unser Familienurlaub startete in Emmas Cottage mit einer sehr herzlichen Begrüßung durch Emma und Ihren Ehemann. Herzlich deshalb, weil jeder von uns (ob Kinder oder Eltern) mit einem Lächeln und mit "Ca va?" begrüßt wurden. Man merkte, dass die Fragen nicht nur aus Höflichkeit gefragt wurden. Wir zogen dann in das individuell gestaltete Cottage ein. Es bot uns alles, was wir zum Leben im Urlaub brauchten. Das weiträumige Grundstück lud die Kinder gleich zum Spielen ein, was uns als Eltern die entpsannte Zeit gab, unsere Sachen auszupacken. Die Kinder konnten dort Fußball spielen, Fahrrad fahren (diese wurden sogar von unserer lieben Gastfamilie bereitgestellt) und sogar Trampolin springen. Auch bei höheren Temperaturen sorgten die vielen Bäume und der Wind vom Atlantik für Abkühlung. Für die meiste und beste Abkühlung sorgte aber der große Pool, den wir für uns alleine hatten. Unsere Gastfamilie sorgte außerdem mit frischem Obst und mit dem heimischen Pineau öfter für Überraschungen. Unser erster Familienurlaub in Frankreich war somit gleichzeitig unser bester Urlaub seit langem. Dafür danken wir Emma und Ihrer Familie sehr und freuen uns, wenn wir sie mal wieder besuchen können.

Sejour du 5 au 12 août 2023

Tout est bien organisé par l hôte. Le charmant gite, rustique mais trés bien equipé, est niché dans un ecrin de verdure et propice au repos. Tout y est calme et serein. Nous avons profité du soleil, de la piscine, de la nature ..un bien fou! Emma et sa famille ont veillé a ce que tout se passe bien, dans la discretion et la bienvaillance. Rencontre avec un lieu de charme mais aussi avec de belles personnes riches de partage et qui aiment ce qu elles font. Très agréable séjour

Gîte très bien situé, au cœur des vignes, dans un environnement calme. Quand il fait chaud il est d'une fraîcheur remarquable, la piscine un gros plus et les propriétaires aux petits soins tout en étant d'une grande discrétion. Merci à eux.

September break

We had a great relaxing break at Emma’s cottage. The location is good with plenty of options for restaurants and places to visit. The pool is a real bonus and Emma is a fantastic host always on hand if we needed anything but never intrusive. We will definitely be coming back at some point in the future as we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommended place to stay

Un séjour très agréable au calme

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans ce gîte plein de charme. La maison, très confortable est située dans une très jolie propriété avec piscine au calme en campagne non loin d’une petite ville. En temps de canicule la piscine a été très appréciée. Les propriétaires nous ont réservé un très chaleureux accueil, tout en restant très discrets, ils étaient aux petits soins pour nous!

Un gite incroyable et une famille en or !

La semaine passée dans le gite d'Emma a été bien trop courte !! Le gite est incroyablemment bien équipé (quasi mieux qu'à la maison !) et décoré avec goût. Le seul bruit que l'on entend vient des oiseaux. La piscine et la terrasse sont très reposantes. ... C'est encore plus beau et grand qu'en photos (et ça donnait déjà sacrément envie !) Et l'accueil... parfait. Nous avons passé une semaine inoubliable et rencontré une famille adorable, le tout dans un décor de rêve. Pour avoir été dans pas mal de gites, celui-ci reste mon préféré... On reviendra les yeux fermés. Merci à Emma et à toute la famille !
