La Belle Mémoire

Une lumière, beau, spacieux et récemment rénové appartement de 2 chambres sur l'une des rues les plus jolies piétonnes au cœur de la vieille ville historique de Villefranche-de-Mer. L'appartement est à quelques pas de la mer, à proximité de la plage, de la gare et des commerces et restaurants locaux.

Récemment rénové, l'appartement est situé au deuxième étage d'un bâtiment restauré de seize siècle sur la pittoresque rue de mai. Cette maison loin de la maison est équipée de toutes les commodités dont vous avez besoin pour créer de beaux souvenirs si vous êtes une famille, visitant avec des amis ou des vacances romantiques.

En vous promenant dans l'appartement, vous serez frappé par les trois grandes portes-fenêtres avec volets traditionnels qui donnent sur la rue piétonne ci-dessous et offrent une vue sur la mer à votre droite.

La région bénéficie vivants de hauts plafonds, des sièges confortables, la climatisation, une table assez grande pour six personnes et un charmant bureau salle. La cuisine est entièrement équipée (y compris une machine à café) et la salle de bain dispose d'une douche à effet pluie.

Les grandes chambres lumineuses sont accessibles à partir d'un bel escalier en bois. Un couloir central sépare les deux chambres et chaque chambre a sa propre porte. La première chambre mezzanine avec balustrade en verre a un lit double confortable et la deuxième chambre (pas une mezzanine) dispose de deux lits simples confortables qui peuvent venir ensemble pour former un lit super king-size. Les lits sont fabriqués à la main avec des matelas de bonne qualité et des draps en coton égyptien. Chaque chambre dispose de beaucoup d'espace de stockage (une commode et penderie) et une unité de climatisation / chauffage.

Cette base de charme est à seulement cinq minutes à pied de la plage; six minutes à pied de la gare, à partir de laquelle vous pouvez facilement accéder à Nice, Cannes, Monaco et l'Italie; et à seulement dix minutes de marche de la renommée mondiale Institut de Francais.

S'il vous plaît noter, comme cela est la coutume dans cette région, il ya une Eur 120 final des frais de nettoyage à payer à notre gestionnaire de l'immeuble à l'arrivée.

We enjoyed everything about this apt. Sunny, lovely decor, all the amenities, and an incredible location in Villefranche- sue-Mer, just a short walk to bakery, shops, restaurants, the harbor, and the beach. We would definitely stay here again. It was perfect for us!

Excellent location

Well located and convenient to bus routes. Be aware that there are lots of steps getting to transportation, restaurants and shops. Beautiful views on the waterfront. Would definitely stay there again.

Charming experience

Lovely apartment , spacious, full of light, modern, clean. One of the best ! The village is beautiful picturesque and historic . The harbor is right there and there are restaurants shops and wine bars right down the stairs. We loved it so much. Thank you .

Villefranche spectacular!

My daughters and I spent 5 days in this gorgeous apartment. It was steps away from a grocery store, shops, restaurants and the beach. The apartment had all the amenities of home which made us feel like part of the Rivera family. Would highly recommend.

Modern Amenities in an Authentic Setting

Spacious, bright and modern apartment in a 16th century building. Very well situated on a stepped passage for access to restaurants, shops, bus stops and train station. Both the owner and on site greeter were very helpful. Apartment was well furnished, well stocked and very clean. Would certainly return.

Our Stay and Feedback

Property was well located, clean and comfortable and near to small local shops the station and sea front. The disappointing elements about the apartment were a rusty radiator in the bathroom, missing or broken light bulbs and a loose kitchen tap.

Beautiful apartment

Beautiful spacious apartment, great location, (although be aware there are a lot of steps in Villefranche sur Mer) and the most comfortable beds we encountered whilst holidaying. The only negative was some of the pots and the coffee machine had not been cleaned by previous tenant, and this had not been picked up by management

Spacious and bright

Very spacious, updated and good location if do not mind the stairs. Specifically the bedrooms are upstairs and bathroom is down. All was good, just good to know. Close to train station and beach. Car not necessary and no parking spot, but If you have a car, you can buy a week-long pass in town that helped reduce parking costs.

The PERFECT Villefranche Experience

This property made our Villefranche vacation just perfect. The communication with both the owner and property manager was outstanding. The location in old town was ideal as it was close enough to all of the shops and restaurants we liked but also (and importantly) very quiet at night. The air conditioning was a huge plus as it was very hot during our time there. Everything was super clean and well-appointed. Bottom line….we visited Paris right after and all of us said to a person that we would go back to Villefranche (and this property specifically) in a heartbeat over Paris again. Thanks so much for your wonderful hospitality!

Great location for quick getaway

We had a lovely stay indeed. All was perfect but I must say that the apartment was unfortunately very dusty and I had to re-wash a lot of dishes and found that the floors had light dust everywhere which left marks on anything we had placed on them. Could have been from that it was recently painted? We were not there very often however and this was a small hiccup to the beautiful location and building we were in. Many thanks!

Lovely week in Villefranche

We had a wonderful time staying at this property in Villefranche . Donna, the property manager, was super accommodating when our flight was cancelled and we had to arrange for check-in the following day. She was very friendly and provided great local recommendations upon check-in. The apartment itself is situated in the perfect location in Villefranche, right at the center of everything. It was ideal for going to the beach, restaurants as well as catching the train or bus to explore other areas. The apartment is very clean, updated and bright. It is well outfitted with amenities and has air-conditioning, which was so nice to come back to after being out in the heat all day. If we return to Villefranche one day, I would definitely stay here again!

Incredible location—every view was amazing

We loved the location. We wanted the small French town experience and this property delivered that. Close to the train station, wonderful restaurants all around, and the Mediterranean Sea very close and can even see it out the window. Great communication. Donna met us at the apartment and gave recommendations, showed us how to use the washing machine and more. Only thing was the stairs—being from the US we didn’t give the stairs in the town and to get into the apartment much thought until we had to climb them a lot. 2 of the people on the trip were older and struggled a bit but they both thought it was totally worth it and we all enjoyed our stay so much.

Nice Condo, Gorgeous Location

This was a cute condo in an excellent location with some nice conveniences such as more than ample AC and a washer/dryer unit which worked well. The shower was nicely sized, and the beds were very comfortable. The only real drawback was the layout, which was a bit odd (but can’t really be helped by the owner). The bedrooms are both upstairs, and the bathroom is downstairs. Also the bedrooms have slanted ceilings and even adults under 5’5” can hit their heads when getting out of bed in the second bedroom. Overall, these things are worth considering but didn’t impede on our enjoyment of the trip. The best thing about the place was the convenience to everything in Villefranche-sur-Mer, and also to the train station which allowed super easy travel to Nice and Monaco. Such an amazingly beautiful area! We enjoyed our stay in Villefranche tremendously.

The ceiling in the second light filled bedroom does slope a little more towards the very sides of the room, but as we and other guests have found there is more than adequate headroom above the beds for an average adult. L’emplacement et le village de Villefranche sur Mer est exceptionnel. On ne peut imaginer un meilleur cadre pour trouver un peu de douceur durant l’hiver.L’emplacement du logement dans les rues piétonnes est assez pittoresque pour ceux qui peuvent se déplacer facilement.Les chambres étaient confortables.Les serviettes étaient fournies et de bonne qualité.L’accueil de Donna était agréable.LaClimatisation réversible n’était pas suffisante pour chauffer la pièce principale et était un peu bruyante.Le ménage n’avait pas été fait assez récemment. Le canapé est taché, la porte de la salle de bains, le contour de la douche étaient sales.Les carrelages de la salle de bains et les meubles de la cuisine étaient tachées.Attention aux frais de ménage en plus du prix (indiqué dans le descriptif, à lire avec attention).La télé est minuscule.Il y a eu une fuite d’eau (signalée) vers l’étage inférieur de la salle de bains.
