Beautiful cottage with a country home feel. We went to Devils Fork and had a wonderful time at the beach area with our two kids. The Waterfall near the cottage was amazing. We built a fire at night in the large fire pit area and did s’mores. This is just what we needed. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Melanie was very nice and helpful. Cottage comes with everything you need. Property was not hard to get to and only took us a little over 2 hours coming in from Charlotte.

This property and house were perfect for a quiet family vacation. The kids loved the creek and the swing, and there was plenty of good dry wood for evening fires. Also the only rental I’ve stayed at with properly sharp kitchen knives!

Excellent quiet location right on the creek! House had everything you need. Host was great, very quick to respond to all questions! Short hike to twin falls was beautiful. Perfect spot for our family—would definitely stay there again!

My family had a blast! The home is stunning. Location is dreamy. Reminded me of how I grew up. The falls we walked to every morning. The kids skipped rocks for hours. We saw the lakes. Made s'mores and a fire with the running creek. Views are wonderful. Our dog had so much fun. Very family and dog friendly. Roads are a very fun drive. The house has anything we needed. Towels. Wash. SHARP knives. Even my parents loved it and took a little trip so see my father in law. It was a wonderful reset and time. Thank you so much for having us in your home and sharing this little gem. Only downside of this trip was having to leave.

This sweet home was perfect for our small family getaway. My sons (ages 6&7) loved playing in the creek. We loved sitting on the screen porch at night listening to the creek. We made hot dogs and s’mores over the campfire. We spent one day at Lake Jocassee where we rented a pontoon for the day and also spent one evening at Long Shoals Wayside Park enjoying the rock slide. Melanie was a pleasure to work with and was available to answer all questions that we had. She replied in a timely manner and was so kind. Everything was nice and clean when we arrived. It was nice to have a washer and dryer on site. We would absolutely recommend this home and Melanie to ourfriends and family and we hope to stay here again on our next Lake Jocassee adventure.

Very welcoming, always responsive. We had a wonderful stay here. The peaceful woods, the sound of the creek, and the winding mountain roads made this a truly special getaway. Something nice about going outdoors early morning and not hearing anything but critters. We loved watching the wildlife and just slowing down for a few days. It was exactly what we needed.

This cabin is truly lovely with a bit of nostalgia of my youth. Every item you could think of was available. If you want to “be present” and enjoy the nature around you (babbling stream, short walk to Twin Falls & numerous waterfalls in the area) this cabin is highly recommended. Melanie was wonderful with communicating with us with prompt responses..p.s. if you love to drive sport cars, this place is ideal for nearby “twisting” roads..

Fantastic home for a family getaway. Loved the large table/bar in the kitchen and plenty of comfy beds. Close to three different state parks for hiking and lake fun, and of course the waterfalls and creeks right at the property. Highly recommend!

Beautiful property and home gives you a relaxed feeling for your stay!! We spent days hiking at nearby parks and evenings sitting on the porch or out by the fire pit listening to the stream!! Great place to unwind !!

Wonderful cabin!
