¡Experimente el lago Horseshoe y todas las comodidades que ofrece! La cabaña se encuentra a solo 5 minutos al norte del centro de Turtle Lake y St Croix Casino. We stayed at the family with our adult kids and the significant others. The house was great! We also rented the pontoon and spent a lot of time on the lake fishing. The kids also swam out in front of the house. Would definitely rent again! Owners were very helpful and responded quickly!

Great syay

Property was lovely and well kept. The host had terrific communication. We enjoyed the stay! We had a family reunion at our family cabin on Horseshoe Lake and needed a bit more space so this was perfect!

Family getaway

Beautifully furnished lake home, stocked with everything we needed for a family summer getaway. Very happy we rented the pontoon to fully enjoy Horseshoe Lake. The host, Dann, was very responsive. Thank you!

Great Spot for Northwoods Fun

We enjoyed our stay on the shores of Horseshoe Lake. The property was very clean and the views of the lake in the early morning and sunset times were spectacular. We literally watched eagles fly overhead while on the boat which we rented. The lake was full of great large mouth bass and crappies. The property was very clean, the check in process was easy and Dann was very responsive and able to answer questions when needed. Given the pricing of the cabin and boat rental, we felt the amenities were a bit lacking. One cooler of water was provided without a backup and the iron smell of the water made drinking it from the tap less desirable. There was no plunger available in either of the bathrooms and we had to buy extra paper towels. Salt and pepper was also not available, which is a first for us staying in this type of a property. In addition, the beds had clean sheets and blankets, but no comforters, which was also a little unusual given the cooler nights on the lake. None of these were big deals, but just a little disappointing. The property owner also expressed displeasure with the way the cabin was left by our family upon check out. A suggestion for future guests would be to please make sure that your guests know specifically your expectations, and if those include wiping down counters and such, please provide easy-to-find and well-stocked cleaning supplies in which to do so.

Great Weekend!

This place is wonderful, plenty of room for our group. The lake is beautiful, house is clean and comfortable. Yes the water from the tap smells funny but that is easily overlooked by the great place. We will be back again!

Annual friends trip

Wonderful place. It was our third year and we hope to go back. Feel very comfortable there. Only suggestion is for six women, more toilet paper? Also one deck chair is a bit wonky so you feel like you will fall backwards when you sit in it. Maybe missing a screw? Facility is wonderful and again, we hope to return!

Horseshoe Lake Vacation

Stayed here with our kids. The lake is clean and not weedy. Well stocked house. Wonderful views at sunrise. We enjoyed the deck and all of the amenities; which included a paddle boat and canoe. Caught some small fish off the dock. Water is well water and does has an odor (didn't bother us but we have well water at home).

We had a fun time with our two adult children and their wives.

Compared to other properties we have stayed in I would give it 3 stars. We did all our own cooking in this home but realized we should have brought much more bottled water as the water in all taps and showers was VERY foul smelling. The smell lingered in the room and on the person after using the water. More than I care to explain. I realize they had a water test a couple years ago but I recommend another test immediately. No minerals smell like fecal matter. If there is a reason for this smell we should have been told upfront. This review should not be published as I don't want to hurt their future prospects of clients! The smell really spoiled taking a shower. After one person took a shower none of us showered the whole time we were there. He left early to go home and take a shower as he couldn't stand the smell on himself. I wish the owners the best of luck on their property.

Wonderful getaway

Our family gathered at this Great Lake home and had the most wonderful time! The cabin is set up great-the kitchen is stocked with what we needed, there’s fun board games, the deck space was phenomenal, the sunroom our favorite spot. The deck was fantastic too! Fun beach area for our littles and the lake is peaceful and so pretty. Great spot for grilling and fantastic grill! Comfy beds! Highly recommend!

Great Relaxing Getaway

The stay was quiet and relaxing, it’s such a peaceful setting. The house was clean and equipped with the necessities. We cooked all meals on-site, allowing for maximum lake time! It was nice to take time away from screens, unplug, and catch up. The lake has very little traffic, making it a great place to fish, swim, and tube!

Our fourth and last year at this property. The house and location have been great for I and my five fishing partners. We consider five stars in all categories. Except for the cost 1,653.00 for four nights stay. Overpriced for winter property.

Beautiful views!

This is my second time at this property. 1st time was for a girls weekend, this time it was a couples weekend getaway. Property was as advertised, beautiful views of the lake. The sun room is perfect for early risers! We had colder rainy weather this weekend.. the property provides plenty of games to play to pass time when we couldn’t be outside. Property is clean and well maintained! We plan to come back again next summer!
