Villa rural aislada con piscina privada y preciosas vistas

Casa do Cuco está construida en una ladera de almendros, algarrobos, olivos e higueras con hermosas vistas al campo. Situado cerca del final de un callejón sin salida, ve muy poco tráfico que pasa. Está aislado pero no es remoto: puede estar en la concurrida ciudad de Loule en menos de 10 minutos y se puede acceder a varias playas hermosas y campos de golf de primera clase en unos 20 minutos.

La casa consta de una gran cocina, cuarto de servicio y cómoda sala de estar / comedor. Hay dos habitaciones de alquiler, una habitación doble con cuarto de baño con ducha en el primer piso y una habitación doble en la planta baja con baño completo al lado. La sala de estar y la habitación doble tienen puertas francesas que conducen a la terraza cubierta exterior. El dormitorio de arriba tiene su propia terraza privada en la azotea. La terraza cubierta tiene una mesa y sillas para comer al aire libre, y da a la terraza de la piscina orientada al sur. Se instaló una nueva cocina totalmente equipada que comprende una nevera grande (la nevera más grande está en el lavadero), lavavajillas, horno doble multifunción, placa con tres quemadores de gas (incluido un quemador súper rápido) y un anillo de inducción, horno microondas y enfriador de vino. instalado en 2017. Las salas de baño / ducha se actualizaron en 2018.

We stayed for 6 nights in August 2026. The villa is stunning with fantastic views and a great pool. It’s in a great location and check in was easy and the hosts were very helpful.It does get very hot at night and watch out for mosquitoes! There were parts of the villa that could do with a thorough clean especially the kitchen as we found some dirty dishes and food left in draws. All in all though we really enjoyed our experience.

I'm glad that you and your friends enjoyed yourselves and we appreciate your kind words about the villa and pool and the location. However I was rather perturbed to read that you had found some areas that were not as clean as expected. I am surprised as Nidia, our housekeeper has been working for us for more than 10 years and this is the first time I have seen comments of this nature (see previous reviews). In fact my husband and i were the next people to follow you into the villa - albeit a few days after you had left - and I had explicitly congratulated Nidia on how beautifully clean we had found everywhere (this was before I had seen your comments). In fairness to Nidia, previous guests sometimes put cutlery and crockery that isn't too clean back into cupboards and drawers and Nidia doesn't have the time to go through and inspect everything that is stored away, before the arrival of the next set of guests. However I have passed your comments on to Nidia so that she can try to be extra vigilant in the future. And thank you for your points. These things help to keep us on our toes!

Such a fabulous place, beautiful villa, breathtaking views and lovely garden with a fantastic pool. Great location but lots to see and do nearby. Perfect holiday retreat! Our second visit now planning our third!

Great location

Great house, nice view, quiet, super pool, everything you need, little bit old fashioned furniture, easy to reach, sometimes dog barking during the night.

Excellent property with beautiful views

Very spacious and well maintained property. What makes this Villa special though is the very well designed outside space and the glorious views. It was very hot while we were there and we spent a lot of time just relaxing around the pool. The house managers were very easy to contact and very friendly and responsive when we had queries. We would love to stay here again sometime.

The location of the property was secluded as advertised and made for a very relaxing holiday. Loule was less than 10 minutes drive to the local market with a good array of restaurants nearby.The property was well laid out and the pool and surrounding area was excellent. There was a good mix of shaded and full sun areas to suit our family.Kitchen was well proportioned, and the addition of a utility room and additional fridge allowed us to make sure we were well equipped with water and cold drinks

Gorgeous villa

If peace and quiet is what you seek the setting of this villa cannot be faulted. So secluded and private with spectacular views over the hills. Extremely well equipped, we stayed here for a week with daughter and boyfriend joining us for a few days. You definitely need a car however as there are no bars or restaurants within walking distance. Also, no consumables are provided so we even had to buy our own toilet roll!

We provide a basic 'starter pack' containing tea, sugar, water, loo rolls and dishwasher tablets - as is usually the case in self-catering holiday villas. However after the first few days, guests are expected to purchase their own consumables.

The best place I have ever stayed

Beautiful, spacious, well furnished, comfortable. The pool was big and well treated. The kitchen was beautiful and fully furnished. The living room was spacious and the table outside was very well posicioned. We didn't hear any noise while in the rooms and the beds were comfortable. The only downside was the showering part since the heating wasn't very well regulated and the water pressure was very low, but honestly in the end it was something very minor.

Lovely villa in a great location

Villa was fantastic, everything we needed for our 10 day stay. The pool was great and with temperatures nudging 30 deg. C it was nice to cool off. The location is great, secluded and private, yet close enough to Loule and all the amenities with good access to the road network to get to any area of the Algarve with ease. We loved the outside seating area, sunny in the mornings and shaded in the heat of the day. If you wanted 100% sunshine, the sun beds by the pool offered this until the sun disappeared in the early evenings. Inside, the villa was clean and comfortable, a lovely new kitchen, and great to have an extra fridge in the utility room. Truth was because the weather was so good we spent many hours outside and not much time inside. We hope to return in the future.

A total winner

Many congratulations Kate - your home in the sun is fabulous both inside and out. Lovely bright spacious airy rooms all beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean, wonderfully equipped roomy kitchen and a large laundry room to boot!! The pool was heavenly, surrounded by flowering pots, a pretty garden and a lovely terrace with table and chairs for early breakfasts or late suppers while admiring the lovely views. We had a fantastic two weeks and really appreciated all your notes on various beaches, restaurants etc and a big thank you to Cathy too. It was well worth the 15 month wait and I was very sad to close the door for the last time! Best wishes - Jane

Great fun

The villa was beautiful, especially the outside area. What a view if the surrounding valley! Was also really close to Loulé, the closet big town. Some issues: the local road onto the main road was extremely dangerous, there is no way to see what cars are coming without half the car being on the road. Perhaps some mirrors here would be useful. The mattress on the bed upstairs is very soft and needs replacing. Either AC or mosquito netting needs to be installed on the windows and doors as the heat at night was punishing. Other than this we enjoyed our stay very much, Pete and Anya were very helpful and the gardener and water supply man were also very friendly.

On est tres content que vous avez aime votre sejour a Casa do Cuco. C'est dommage que vous avez ete derange par des moustiques. On ne trouve pas beaucoup de moustiques ici mais il faut souvenir que les moustiques sont une chose naturelle en ete en pleine campagne.

Einstieg in die Sommerferien

Super Pool, tolle Terrasse. Genügend Liegen. Und tolles Klima (angenehm und keine Bruzzelhitze). Gut ausgestattete Küche. Perfektes Ambiente. Fast null Mücken. Wer Action und Shopping braucht, kann den Pool verlassen und kurz nach Loule oder Sao Bras fahren. Als "super fauler" Einstieg in die Ferien perfekt geeignet. Gerne wieder!!

Très belle maison au calme dans la campagne de Loule. Positif : Super piscine et terrasse Très propre, tous les équipements nécessaires (barbecue, transat, etc). Au calme, mais à 10min en voiture d’un super marché Super hôtes, très à l’écoute Négatif : Pas de climatisation.

Perfekte Urlaubslocation

Das Ferienhaus liegt an einer schmalen aber asphaltierten Straße ca. 10 Minuten von Loulé entfernt. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und nachts hört man ausser gelegentlichem Hundegebell in der Ferne nichts -gar nichts. Eine wunderbare Stille. Das Haus ist nach Süden ausgerichtet und man hat den ganzen Tag Sonne und von der überdachten Terrasse einen wunderschönen Blick in die Algarvelandschaft. Das Haus ist vollständig eingerichtet und wirklich liebevoll dekoriert. Von der Wasch- über die Spülmaschine bis hin zum Backofen ist alles vorhanden. Besteck und Geschirr sind vollzählig und nicht abgezählt. Man sieht, dass die Eigentümer das Haus selber bewohnen. Im Obergeschoss findet sich ein Schlafzimmer mit separatem Bad und einer kleinen und feinen Sonnenterasse. Im Erdgeschoss sind das 2. Schlafzimmer und das 2. Bad sowie Küche und Wohnzimmer. Vom Erdgeschoss aus hat man Zugang zur Terrasse und dem wunderschönen Pool....mit Fliesen und Delfin. Die Terrasse perfekt ist zum Verweilen, denn es befinden sich dort neben einem Esstisch mit 4 Stühlen noch 2 Schaukelstühle, von denen man aus in die Landschaft schauen kann. Nachts kann man die Beleuchtung anschalten und der Garten ist herrlich illuminiert. Das Internet war sehr stabil und ausreichend schnell - besser als zu Hause. Die Betreuung durch Anja und Peter war gut: kurze Einweisung in das Haus, danach unkomplizierte Kommunikation per WhatsApp und kurze Übergabe bei Abfahrt. Fazit: Wer ein Ferienhaus mit Pool an der Algarve sucht und dabei Wert auf Ruhe legt, macht bei der Casa do Cuco alles richtig. Man braucht allerdings ein Auto, ist aber schnell in Loulé mit seinen schönen Restaurants, der Markthalle und dem großen Continente.

La location de cette villa était vraiment conforme à la description d'abritel. Nos échanges avec la propriétaire et les personnes (Peter et Anja)qui gèrent la villa ont été formidables. Cette propriété est bien située et au calme, il y a tout le nécessaire pour passer de bonnes vacances. Évidemment la piscine est magnifique et toujours avec une très bonne température. Bref, des vacances géniales. Merci encore à Peter et Anja pour leurs gentilesses.

Adorei a estadia… a piscina, a vista, a casa muito bem equipada. Com certeza irei voltar em uma outra oportunidade!

Relaxing Villa

Nice quiet property, spacious, clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen, lounge and bathrooms. Probably the best pool we've ever used. Friendly neighbours, good walks and a beautiful garden. Perfect location to visit local towns, cities and mountain villages where we found some great restaurants Still don't know which light switch turns what light on, but hey, that's part of the fun of the Algarve

Fantastic Villa

Fantasic location. Everything you could want in a villa. Easy check in - house manager excellent. No issues at all. Very very well worth the money.
