IDEAL Location!
This was an ideal home base for us, my teenage daughter, and in-laws a couple weeks ago. The bedrooms were spacious and there was enough room for the five of us to spread out through the kitchen, dining room, and living room. Everything was in working order. While it would have been nice if there had been a binder with local menus and maps as I've had at other rentals, I was able to get those online and at the visitor center a couple blocks away. The yard is lovely! We didn't realize that the unit was on the second floor up a steep set of stairs, which was a bit of a challenge for my mother in law. Also, the owners took down the listing a few weeks before we stayed there, which was at first alarming. I would have liked to be able to refer to the list of amenities and photos in the listing, but they quickly answered all messages. The location cannot be beat - all the eateries and shops of both Thames Street and Broadway were within a 5-10 minute walk. Plus, the trolley to the mansions was just two blocks away, and I even walked to them one day.
