Gorgeous Home on Lake Champlain with Pool & Hot Tub

Great home on Lake Champlain, this 6 bedroom home sleeps 12 very comfortably in beds - more if you count trundle beds and double bunks!

Just steps from the lake, with a beach and dock area - it also has a pool, hot tub, kayaks, canoe, and paddle boards.

Very private, lakefront home situated just feet from the water's edge. The house sits at the end of a half mile driveway on wide area of private lake frontage with six acres of privacy behind you. Built in the 1900s, the house has been totally updated and remodeled yet remains true to the old Adirondack feel.

Kitchen has been remodeled completely in 2019 with new appliances, cabinets, heated floors and countertops. Its a chef's dream with plenty of prep space for those large family meals!

Upstairs there are 6 bedrooms, including the huge "Church Room" with a King Size bed, that boasts a beautiful stained glass window; the "Cedar Room" with a California King Bed; two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms; as well as two smaller bedrooms - one with a bunk bed. There are also two more bathrooms upstairs. All bathrooms have been remodeled in 2019 - 2020.

Downstairs is a huge cathedral ceiling family room with skylights, a playroom and breakfast nook on the enclosed porch area, a huge kitchen with a separate laundry area, and a dining room that seats 12 people comfortably at the incredible dining room table!

Equipped with everything you might need, including:

* hot tub with heated jets and incredible views

* 3 paddle boards

* 1 canoe

* 6 burner gas grill

The house is in Willsboro, on Lake Champlain. One town south is Essex - where you can catch a ferry to Vermont, or do some antiquing in this beautiful quaint village. Only 20 miles North is Plattsburgh, with grocery stores, super stores, and a mall and movie complex. Great hiking trails close by and further afield at Whiteface Mountain and at home of the 1980 Winter Olympics, Lake Placid. Check out Champlain Area Trails (CATS) at https://www.champlainareatrails.com/trails/. Consider a trip during Fall Foliage which is spectacular in the Adirondacks and Lake Champlain region!

This is not an investment property; it has been our family home for many years, and now (after moved away) we return for a few weeks each summer. What that means is that it is extremely well-equipped, with high grade pots and pans, fine cutlery, a wide range of staples ranging from spices to sauces to flour and sugar (which guests are welcome to use), and a home lovingly cared for and maintained.

Unlike some other rentals, renting our home is not an anonymous transaction. Upon arrival we will meet you and walk you through the house, point out nearby amenities, and answer any questions you might have. We are available to you 24/7 for any needs that arise, and will also personally check you out at the end of your stay.

Beautiful Lakefront Property

This house provided privacy and amenities all in one location. Beautifully updated kitchen and bathrooms and ample space for each guest in the bedrooms. The living room is very spacious with a very large TV. The couches are a bit older and could use some TLC. The pool and hot tub were a wonderful feature which were used daily. It is very apparent that this home is a much loved personal family home, and we were extra mindful of the many fragile items in the home. I would recommend if possible removing some of the extra items that are not necessary for renters use. Sara who helps to oversee the property was absolutely wonderful to work with throughout our stay as well. Would certainly suggest for anyone looking for a home with everything in one spot- easily accommodated our family of 12.

Does NOT get better than this!

This house is magnificent, on a beautiful property, with a spectacular view, and any amenity you could wish for! We had to put together a wedding in five weeks, and Nadine and Eric could not have been more gracious and responsive about the booking right through our entire stay. The new updates are top-notch, with lovely baths and a huge kitchen, two frigs, with absolutely everything you could need. The kitchen is stocked like it's your own, plates and utensils aplenty. Our family and some of the wedding party stayed with us, and at one point there were 13 in the house. NEVER felt like it, there are so many spaces to spread out to, outside, inside, covered porches, it was an amazing place. Our daughter got dressed in the "church room" which was so perfect the pictures make me cry! Many thanks to Nadine and Eric for making our stay extra special!!

One of the best!

We were all so thankful we got to stay at this place! First, everyone we interacted with was super responsive and nice, and their clear priority was on making sure we had a lovely vacation. Second, this is someone's home, it's not a business venture. That means there's quality pans and the other stuff you need in the kitchen, a crazy number of comfortable places to sit, and an overabundance of things to do. The house is remote but so serene and we didn't see or hear another soul the entire week. Last but not least there's the lake! The view is spectacular! The lake is nice and wide at this point, there's not much traffic (or wasn't our week), and you have a brilliant view of Burlington and the VT mountains. I could stare at the lake all day. And did. When the water is calm you can go out on the paddleboards or kayaks; when the wind is up, you can sail. Just wonderful! We'd all go back again tomorrow if we could.

A family Adirondack getaway

Beautiful home; great area; beautiful views of lake and mountains; reasonable distance to surrounding attractions; all you need for a great vacation---is right there. Great house on Lake Champlain!

We had a fantastic long weekend on the lake boating and enjoying this great property. The kids loved the pool and the outdoor space was really outstanding. The property owner was extremely responsive and easy to work with and the stay was a big success!

A Week on Lake Champlain

It was a perfect location for a relaxing vacation! Swimming in the lake, then pool, and finally hot tub! There was lots of room inside and out for us to hang out together or get a little alone time. Thanks Nadine and Eric.

The Perfect Getaway!

“The best trip ever” as described by our 10, 8, and 6 year old kids. We couldn’t agree more. Nadine and Eric were unbelievably kind and responsive! The house had everything we needed. It was clean and welcoming. You can tell that this “wood house” holds many memories of a warm, loving family. The pictures don’t do the place justice. The view is breath taking. We kayaked every day and lived in the pool. We had privacy and were in constant awe of how massive the lake was, which looks into Vermont and the beautiful mountains. The local market was just a short drive away with everything you might want too. What a special place! We can’t wait to come back. We can’t thank you enough for giving us such a memorable time away from our busy lives!
