About this property

Stunning apartment near Flagey

Two-bedroom penthouse a few steps from Etangs d'Ixelles, with a large south-west-facing terrace. A light-filled cocoon with beautiful views in every direction.

The apartment is a newly built penthouse on top of a typical Brussels townhouse, where everything has been carefully chosen and decorated for my own use. This is not a standard holiday rental: I rent it out when I'm away, which is quite often and sometimes for long periods.

It has two bedrooms, one shower room, plus a bathtub in one of the bedrooms. There are two dedicated workspaces, a fully equipped kitchen, a piano, and a video projector (no TV). Lift. Bed linen and towels provided. Independent entry.

A highly sought-after neighbourhood, appreciated for its peaceful atmosphere and its proximity to the Abbaye and Bois de la Cambre, while being just next to Place Flagey and lively areas of Ixelles and Saint-Gilles. A bio grocery shop open 7 days a week is right across the street :)

Please note that one of the bedrooms can only be accessed through the bathroom, so the apartment is not suitable for all types of groups. No pets. No young children (the staircase is not childproofed). Minimum stay: 5 nights. Longer stays are preferred. A rental agreement and security deposit are required.

Price: €130/night
Final/weekly cleaning depending on the length of stay: €80
The price is negotiable for stays of 10 nights or more.

Mini break in Brussels

Lovely apartment, comfortable, airy and bright. Very nice neighbourhood with good amenities nearby. Well served by public transport and within walking distance to busy areas like Flagey and even city centre. Loved it.

Super cute and clean apartment

We loved our stay at Maudes apartment. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The unit and bathrooms were both very clean.The location was perfect. Near public transportation and a lovely plaza with an excellent christmas market. Maude was easily available for questions. We would stay here again when visiting Brussels.

Very pleasant stay in Brussels

We spent a few days in Maud's beautiful apartment and loved every moment. The accommodation is ideal for those who want to see Brussels without being in the chaotic central area.The Flagey area is lively and well connected with public transport to reach any part of the city. Good experience

This was my first time booking through Vrbo, so I was a bit anxious, but everything went really smoothly and we had a great time. The apartent is nice and well equiped. The host is helpful, she responded to messages quickly and provided all the information we needed. Would reccommend.(*￣▽￣)b

Peaceful in Flagey

The apartment is set back behind another building, so away from the road. The access doesn’t give a reassuring impression - you have to navigate through a private parking area (not available to use) and up 40 industrial-style metal steps, but once through the door, the spacious living area becomes apparent. The kitchen seems to be well equipped, though because we spent a lot of time visiting friends/family, we only used the fridge, kettle and toaster. There’s a good shower in the main bathroom. It would have been nice to use the roll-top bath in the large bedroom, but we couldn’t get the water flowing sufficiently. We ended up needing to stay for longer than we’d intended so had to do some laundry, so the washing machine was welcome. We knew the tumble dryer wasn’t working as the host had advised us before we arrived, but there’s a launderette just 100 yards up the road. We slept really well, probably due to it being so quiet. This is a reasonably priced apartment for what you get. Be openminded about what to expect. This is not a hotel-style apartment, it really feels like someone’s home, with lots of personal belongings around adding to the character and feel of their home. Despite it’s quirkiness, we eventually settled in and feel we would be happy to stay again. Ultimately, the attention, understanding, communication and flexibility of the host, Maud, sealed the deal for us. Thank you.

Apartement plein de vie, de lumière, et des arts

Nous avons beaucoup aimé cet apartement. Il est plein de la vie de la proprietaire, très beau, et très artistique. La cuisine est un grand espace et vous y trouver tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Avec le bus 71 on arrive au centre en toute semplicité - 20/30 minutes, pas de change. Une note: ne convient pas aux personnes à mobilité reduite.

Belle découverte de la ville de Bruxelles Logement fonctionnel, très bon contact via WhatsApp avec la propriétaire.Grand appartement Seul bémol : pour accéder à l’appartement qui est au deuxième étage les escaliers sont en métal avec un éclairage qui pourrait être optimiséPour personne PMR cela pourrait être une difficulté.

Un très beau nid douillet!

L'appartement de Maud est un véritable nid douillet, très chaleureux et très spacieux pour 4 personnes! Une très belle entrée en matière pour découvrir Bruxelles. A quelques pas de la place Flagey (où on trouve tout ce dont on a besoin), dans un quartier calme et qui sent bon la sérénité, ce logement est vraiment très bien situé, proche de deux étangs qui offrent des balades agréables avant de prendre le bus ou le tramway. Il est aménagé avec goût pour que nous nous sentions à l'aise dès son entrée. Très calme, il bénéficie aussi d'une place de parking, ce qui est très appréciable dans une ville. L'équipement répond à toutes les demandes, la literie est très bien. Nous ne pouvons que recommander avec insistance cette adresse. Et en plus, l'hôtesse est très bienveillante, chaleureuse et répond très rapidement à nos interrogations. Un excellent séjour. Nous aurions pu mettre une sixième étoile!
