En el verde del "Bosco di Volito" se alternan espacios exteriores grandes y equipados, entre sol y sombra, entre columnas y pérgolas, con tumbonas y hamacas, una cueva natural con agua corriente para refrescarse, dos grandes mesas de piedra y una barbacoa para aperitivos. y cenas bajo las estrellas.
Y estará dominando Due Mari, el mar Jónico con playas de arena muy fina (Felloniche, Torre S. Gregorio, Torre Vado y las Maldivas de Pesculuse) y el mar Adriático con acantilados y cuevas (Santa Maria di Leuca, Aspro, Ciolo, Novaglie, Guardiola, Castro, hasta la Terra d'Otranto).
La propiedad forma parte del Parque Natural Otranto-Santa Maria di Leuca, Área Protegida Pozzo di Volito, a unos cientos de metros de la playa Felloniche.
Es soleado la mayor parte del año y cada mes tiene su encanto y muchas razones para vivir.
Vas a la playa todo el año y te bañas desde finales de abril hasta principios de noviembre, desde la playa, desde las rocas o desde el barco. Después, puede navegar por los mercados y festivales de la aldea, participar en eventos culturales, asistir a actuaciones de canto y baile bajo las estrellas o en conciertos internacionales de música. En septiembre se puede disfrutar de la cosecha, a finales de octubre, el prensado de oliva y la colección de hierbas silvestres y bayas de mirto; en diciembre experimenta el tradicional ambiente navideño; en enero, los claros días de invierno son antecámara a la floración de Mimose, Almond, Peri y Apricot, a la colección de espárragos e hinojo silvestre, a la explosión de colores de las flores de primavera que invitan a pasear y andar en bicicleta. Y durante todo el año hospitalidad salentina, excelente gastronomía y excelentes vinos.

We stayed near before and loved to come back to such a beautiful, tranquil place in beautiful nature. It is a very special spot , it is very peaceful and calm. The house has everything you need and if you like being alone it is perfect. We were greeted by Mr Michele who waited patiently after we took a wrong turn. It was definitely a good idea to arrive in day time as the owner had suggested. The communication was excellent and we would love to come back again. Thank you for having us.

Paradise in an olive grove! .

The house is beautifully furnished and very clean. The pool in a cave is very unusual and was far more refreshing than an outdoor pool. The perfect place to unwind, would definitely come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed the location with its vast terrain and secluded spaces. The house is lovely, clean and offers all one needs. We arrived at a beautiful house and enjoyed our stay at best! It is one of the most beautiful holiday houses we have ever been! The house is lovely, the little places around the house are nice, the sauna is beautiful and the grave-pool is best of all! Hope to be back one day! THE BEST VACATION STAY EVER!

We have traveled worldwide for 40+ years, very often staying in well chosen rentals, and THIS retreat, this home and multi-acre property in green hills of so-called “Mediterranean Scrub” was our favorite. The definition of that in this gem of a spot meant olive, laurel and eucalyptus trees, magnificent meadows of wildflowers, and a very special gardener’s (Mr. Michele’s) sensitively planned rose and herb gardens scattered around, with rosemary plants the size of cars and lilacs in full bloom. Spectacular wanderings on tier’ed levels, with total privacy. There are more patios than i counted, beautifully made of local stone. The house, started in 1830 and built with local stone, is nestled within all of this peaceful, calming beauty, and its lovely interior could not have been more of a delight, just right. The kitchen with everything needed for cooking in, as we did as soon as we accomplished one large grocery trip, just down the road to the Ionian seaside. On one tier, near an entire barbeque patio, is a fresh water grotto, perfect for just floating, lost in the absolute pleasure of that. We would say that the feeling tone of staying here is best described that way: a time of Floating. We are sorry we did not spend our entire vacation here instead of 4 days. We are grateful to have these indelible glorious images in our memory to return to all of our lives, as we will. Thank you beyond words.

Ein sehr schöne Erfahrung umgeben von Natur pur

Diese Anlage in mitten der Natur aber dennoch 5min. vom Dorfkern und vom Strand war sehr schön. Man kann sich sehr gut erholen und dieser Trullo mit Liegemöglichkeiten sowie Klimaanlage, Naturschwimmbad, Sauna uvm. kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. In diesem Haus hat man kein Fernseher, was auch nicht weiter schlimm ist, nur damit man es weiss, aber sonst alles perfekt. Der Eigentümer Osvaldo war immer sehr hilfsbereit sowie auch Michele vor Ort hat uns nett empfangen und alles erklärt. Der nächste Strandabschnitt im Dorf ist sehr klein, aber man hat in der nähe sehr viel Möglichkeiten. Besten Dank

Ein Paradies

Wir haben unseren Urlaub richtig genossen.Osvaldo hat ein Paradies mitten in die Natur geschafft. Es ist ein wunderbarer Beispiel wie Mensch und Natur mit einander existieren können. Auch bei 33 Grad hat man nicht viel gemerkt, durch die viele Bäume hatte man genug schattige Plätzchen. Nicht nur das Haus, sondern das ganze Grundstück ist mit so viel Liebe gemacht. Sogar nach 10 Tagen haben wir immer noch was neues entdeckt. Wenn man die Natur liebt, die Ruhe genießen möchte und sein Leben entschleunigen möchte, ist man hier gerade richtig! Die Kinder waren begeistert! Uns hat an nichts gefällt und der Kontakt mit Osvaldo war von Anfang an sehr nett. Wer aber so weit nach Apulien reist, muss unbedingt sein Italienisch unbedingt auffrischen:).

Es war alles so wie beschrieben im und um das Haus, genau wie auf den Bildern zu sehen. Der Vermieter war sehr aufmerksam und hilfreich. Ein riesiges wunderschönes Gelände voller Olivenbäume und kleiner Plätze zum Entspannen. Wir waren Mitte Oktober dort, so dass das Wetter nicht so heiß, also perfekt zum draußen Aufhalten war. Es wurde relativ früh dunkel, aber das Außengelände ist wunderbar beleuchtet, und hat viele Sitzgelegenheiten für Mahlzeiten etc.

Impossible de ne pas tomber sous le charme extraordinaire de ce lieu.

Nous avons passé à Pozzo Volito (Il Bosco) un séjour magnifique... On aurait aimé y rester plus longtemps. L'intérieur de la maison n'est pas grand et la salle de bain est partagée, mais c'est lumineux et cosy et tout est bien pensé et fonctionnel. Mais c'est surtout le calme, l'étendue et la beauté de la propriété qui sont exceptionnels. Osvaldo, le propriétaire, a mené cette rénovation en combinant authenticité et goût de façon exemplaire. Il nous a accueilli avec une grande gentillesse (et en français !) et est resté extrêmement disponible et attentif pendant tout notre séjour. Tout était absolument nickel à notre arrivée. Un sans faute ! Encore merci !

Peaceful paridise

This property is amazing! The Liama cottage is perfectly appointed and immaculate with everything you need for your stay. The outdoor spaces are magical. The covered sitting area on the upper terrace has numerous throw pillows and is a perfect spot for morning coffee. Rosemary lined garden steps leading down to the outdoor kitchen fireplace is perfect for grilling a romantic dinner under the stars. There is plenty of firewood available to continue the fire while enjoying dinner in this lower terraced olive grove. The property is much more expansive than the pictures show with numerous sitting areas and lots of privacy. The grotto pool is clean and refreshing and not to be missed. Osvaldo was readily available to answer our questions. When we texted him for information on local wineries, he directed us to Castel Di Salve Winery where Francesca treated us to a memorable tasting. This Patu property is tops our list for places to stay!

Perfect place to relax

Excellently maintained property with lots of outside space to relax. The house had everything we needed throughout our stay. Mini market and restaurants are a short drive away. Car is definitely required to explore the wider region. Osvaldo’s recommendations are perfect and we used these a lot. Osvaldo is quick to respond to questions and is close by if you ever need him. Overall an amazing stay!

Wonderful vacation

The house and the surrounding area are just marvelous! We (two adults and two kids) had a great time. My son wanted to stay forever. Osvaldo and Daniela have put a lot of effort in the house and it is gorgeous. It is beautifully decorated and the beds are very comfortable. The pool and its location is sensational. We also used the superb BBQ place , great to have so many choices where to have dinner! Osvaldo is a marveleous host, very kind and caring. We definitely plan to come back next summer to this pugliese paradise.

A spectacular property...

We were looking for a relaxing spot to get away from it all for a week. Il Bosco does not disappoint. Osvaldo and Daniela have created a beautiful property which has been sympathetically restored and decorated extremely thoughtfully. Everything you could need to prepare meals is there and with the wood fired barbecue you really never have to leave! The location is so peaceful and quiet with beautiful grounds and a unique pool for cooling off after a hard day on the sunbeds. this is a great base rom which to explore both the Ionian and Adriatic coasts with Santa Maria di Leuca only a ten minute drive away (and would recommend a boat trip to see the caves with Leuca Explorer). The local beach at Felloniche is a five minute drive and is very nice. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this property for anyone looking for a retreat and our only regret is that we could only stay for one week as we would have been happy to stay for much longer. Communication with Osvaldo and Daniela was excellent and the list of recommended restaurants, markets etc was very welcome. Thank you both so much.

Séjour parfait dans un lieu atypique !

Jolie maison en pierre typique très propre, très bien équipée, confortable, suffisamment spacieuse pour 4 et située sur une belle et grande oliveraie très calme où les enfants peuvent jouer en toute liberté et sans surveillance pour les plus grands (les nôtres ont 7 et 10 ans). Ils ont particulièrement adoré chercher des lézards et se baigner et jouer dans la grotte !! Le temps était magnifique donc nous avons pu profiter des transats et de la terrasse pour manger dehors tous les jours. La plage la plus proche est belle et agréable et nous n'avons pas eu de souci pour nous garer (un petit peu loin pour y aller à pieds surtout avec des enfants, il faut compter un bon kilomètre et le chemin rocailleux monte pas mal sur le retour). Petit supermercato à proximité. Pour finir Osvaldo et Daniela sont très sympathiques et discrets. Nous recommandons cette location sans hésitation !

Lots of space, plenty of shady areas, great views. Leuca is lovely, go on a boat trip to the caves and swim into the gold and azure cave.Galipoli a must for a good wander. Lots of great beaches and places to eat out. Not enough days to sample all of the ice cream. Fantastic. Osvaldo is very helpfull with lots of information on hand if you need it.

Traditionelles Steinhaus mit wunderbar angelegtem Außenbereich

Wir waren Ende Mai mit zwei Kindern (8,11) hier. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes traditionelles Steinhaus mit toll angelegtem Aussenbereich im riesigen Garten. Schattige Terasse, separater Grillplatz etc. Nah zu den schönen Stränden von Torre Vado, Torre Pali. In der Nähe auch Leuca mit Restaurants, Leuchtturm, Bootsverleih. Auto unbedingt erforderlich. Sehr netter Kontakt mit dem Besitzer Osvaldo.

an insider tip

First we did not want to evaluate our stay because, due to our enthusiasm, the house will never be available again! We then nevertheless decided to give a rating. Already at the arrival (we were picked up by Michele) we were thrilled and speechless. During our two week stay this has not changed. everything was perfect. We will come back - if the house is then still available :-)

What a place! Beautifully designed, everything you need for a comfortable stay! The kids had so much freedom to explore in a safe place! Easy drive to stunning beaches, Can't wait to go back!

Un paradiso

Une magnifique maison avec tout ce qu'il faut pour se sentir bien, bien équipée, joliment décorée, fraîche avec l'espace nécessaire pour être à 4 en famille. On peut vivre beaucoup dehors, dans ce beau domaine, manger en terrasse, se rafraichir avec un bain dans la grotte. Le propriétaire, très sympathique, nous a réservé un bon accueil. La maison est à 5 minutes de la mer en voiture, juste en hauteur, proche de Marina di Leuca, avec la possibilité de se déplacer du côté mer Ionienne ou Adriatique. Rien à redire! On y est resté 1 semaine et aurait volontiers prolongé.
