Wunderfull Villa

We had a great holiday in the beautifull Villa Pappardo. Everything was clean and nice, the garden was perect. I can recommend this beautifull house!

Beautiful property

What a beautiful home! You will feel like your at your own home. Property is spotless and well taken care of with a security gate to make you feel safe. Great location in a nice town with good local food spots. The owner and his family are very nice and they keep to themselves giving you all the privacy you need. I wouldn't think twice in staying here again. Thank you for your hospitality.

Perfection

Placido and Alessandra could not do enough for us. The villa was superb with everything you could want. From the moment we arrived, we relaxed. Would recommend getting a car, it gave us the independence to explore and go shopping.

Beautiful house with pool in top position

We stayed for a week in the beautiful guest house of Placido and Veronica. We were received very kind and generous, the details of the house description fit perfectly. Beautiful nature, peace and Etna views, what more could you want? We had a wonderful week and have felt very comfortable. Beautiful villa in a fab location

My family and I stayed here for a week and couldn’t have picked a more perfect place. Placido the owner is so welcoming and gave us lots of great recommendations. He and his family live upstairs but you never see them and have complete privacy of the pool and garden. The villa is so spacious. My boys loved the pool and the hot tub bath which we all fit in. I would recommend hiring a car and travelling about. Giardini Naxos and Taormina is less than 20 minutes away which we visited most days/evenings. Thank you Placido for such a magical stay

**ABSOLUTE PERFECTION** Would stay again in a heartbeat

Villa Papardo was an absolute delight! The property is beautiful and the Villa delivers exactly as advertised. My wife was in heaven from the instant we arrived as she is a bit of a neat-freak and the property was spotless from top to bottom (she wants to hire the cleaners!). We were driving a rental car which worked out perfectly. The property was a bit tricky to find (it's Italy!) but with Placedo's instructions we made without too much hassle and had tons of room to park within the gated property. The location was actually perfect for us as we went on a lot of day trips and the property is 5-10 minutes from the highway entrance. The landscaping of the property is immaculate and the private pool was a daily delight for our family - especially during the heat wave. Everything was so well maintained and obvious as you dipped into the crystal clear waters of the pool. If that was not already enough, Placedo and his representative Alessandra were both amazing. Placedo is a true Super-Host, responsive, helpful, and truly and sincerely wants his guests to have an amazing stay. His recommendations for local restaurants, bars (coffee shops), and other information were spot on (especially Giuseppe Bellia La Pasticceria for your morning coffee and baked delights - don't waste time anywhere else! Amazing and a fantastic value!). We can't say enough about Placedo and his property - absolutely amazing stay and will definitely stay again next time we travel to the area.

Chris is a really nice man, he has blue blood in my opinion! Thanks to his delightful little wife, he has been shown to appreciate our hospitality and the attention we reserve for our guests! it may seem strange, but they are the ones who pampered us, with kindness and understanding, especially in difficult moments such as hellish days at 50 degrees that could only be overcome with a lot of patience and endurance! it is we who thank you who have been the best guests ever!

Certes le lieu était bien entretenu. Certes, la piscine était chouette. Certes, le jardin était accueillant… MAIS il y a clairement mensonge sur le logement. Nous ne sommes pas juste dans la partie inférieure de la maison, mais AU SOUS-SOL. Il n’y a donc quasiment aucun accès à la lumière du jour, si ce n’est au salon. Il est du coup impossible d’aérer les pièces, ce qui est très moyen et ce qui fait que l’odeur devient rapidement une odeur de cave, certainement dû à l’humidité. Le pire, c’est qu’il n’y a donc pas de dégagement. Le lieu de vie extérieur est encadré de 3 murs et l’ambiance est plombée par le bruit de la machinerie qui donne directement dans cette espèce de cour. On nous a dit qu’on avait la possibilité d’utiliser la table qui elle était vraiment sur une terrasse, mais non seulement elle se trouve sous les fenêtres des propriétaires, ce qui supprime toute intimité, mais en plus elle ne bénéficie d’aucune lumière le soir…Nous avons été très déçus de l’offre pour le prix important demandé. En deux semaines, nous n’avons même pas eu droit à un petit coup de ménage… Enfin, nous aurions pu, mais nous aurions dû le payer 200 euros!!!Quant à la troisième chambre, ce n’en est pas une puisqu’elle est dans la salle de sport et n’a pas de porte. Elle se trouve sur le chemin de la salle de bain! D’ailleurs, une salle de bain et une toilette à l’intérieur pour 4, c’était insuffisant et je n’imagine pas si vous êtes 3 de plus…

Dans la vie, chacun a son point de vue et peut apprécier ou non certaines choses… mais les bonnes manières, le respect et l'humilité, on les a ou on les n'en a pas ! Vous vivez probablement dans une société civilisée, mais ce n'est certainement pas un bon exemple… en Sicile, dans notre région, pour 200 euros, on ne montre à nos habitants qu'une carte postale d'une villa comme la mienne… Si vous avez une villa privée, vous devez passer beaucoup de temps avec moi à discuter de votre vie… Ma question est l'une de ces choses… rappelez-vous que lorsque vous avez la chance de partir, vous avez une chance ! Les gens sont tellement mesurés en matière de bonnes manières !

Villa Papardo

Voor dat de vakantie begonnen was al zeer prettig contact gehad met de eigenaar betreft vragen over de omgeving etc. Dit goede contact werd doorgezet bij aankomst. De eigenaar stond dag en nacht klaar om je vragen te beantwoorden. Wij hebben ons verblijf in Villa Papardo als uitstekend ervaren.

Fantastic Villa Papardo

From the beginning Placido was amazing. Everything was exactly as advertised. We travelled iwth two children 9 and 2. The property was stunning, pool incredible and his willingness to help with suggestions on places and sights and restaurants was incredible. One of the best we have ever stayed at. Highly recommend anyone looking to stay in great location and superb property book Villa Papardo.

Très belle propriété, bien située

La propriété et le jardin sont magnifiques et très bien entretenus , tout a été pensé avec beaucoup de goût. Les propriétaires habitent au dessus mais on les entend très peu et la piscine est réservée aux locataires. Les seuls bémols sont qu'il n'y a que deux vraies chambres (avec porte) et qu'il n'y a pas de store / volet dans les chambres.

Paradise in Sicily

The colors, Etna, and the magnificent pool with lots of greenery around it are the outline for a perfect holiday! The Jacuzzi and the large kitchen complete the puzzle.

Nicht Alles ist Gold, was glänzt

Die Ausstattung und der Außenbereich entsprechen der Beschreibung. Wirklich sehr gehoben. ABER Es ist keine Villa vermietet worden ,sondern nur der Keller. Die Zimmer hatten keine Fenster mit Blick in die Umgebung. Es gibt kein drittes Schlafzimmer, sondern ein Doppelbett im Fitnessraum, welcher offen war und so jeder Badbesucher am Schlafenden vorbei musste.

We are sorry to note that some guests do not read the description of the places before booking. No one had ever complained about a 200mq space available to them and did not like the quiet and privacy they had reserved. The room to which it refers is not a gym but a living area with a double bed with latex and memory mattresses, equipped with a gym area as well as chromotherapy and with high-level audio diffusion, the fact that it is open is A structural choice that may not be liked and shared. If you wanted to rent the whole property, you would have to agree a very different fare and certainly not the price paid! Such a negative judgment denotes a lot of arrogance by those who did not even want to dedicate the right time to read the terms of the rent.

Amazing house with very kind hosts!

We really loved our stay at the house of Placido and Veronica. The house was clean and neat, and had all the facilities that we wanted for our week. Placido and Veronica were very kind and helped us with all of our questions. Would definitely recommend this house to everyone!

une magnifique maison

Nous avons été très bien accueillis dans une maison magnifique entourée d'un jardin très soigné. Nous avons pris nos petits déjeuners sur une grande terrasse avec vue sur l'Etna. Les prestations proposées sont de qualité ( salle de sport, jacuzzi...) et les propriétaires sont très avenants. Belle expérience en Sicile.
