Huge Lakefront House - sleeps 22! Private Dock! Boating, Water Skiing, Rafting!

New House on the Snake River with a private dock! You can boat, canoe, wake board water ski, or play in the water. No crowds! This is seriously a hidden river/lake location, once you come, you will want to come back. Walk across the lawn and right down to the water and boat dock for super easy access! There is no ramp to launch your boat from here, but there is one just 2 miles away at the Burley Marina. From there it is less than a mile back across the river and a little upstream to our property.

The property was very nice overall. Clean and comfortable. It was very family friendly . Lots of outdoor equipment for the kids to use and a large yard . The dock was easily accessible and the kids (teens) loved jumping into the river from it. The only thing that could be better would be the Wi-fi but There is good cell phone coverage.

We had an overall decent experience with staying here. The two situational issues that arose from our stay. We were not able to use the kayaks as the listing promised. We were told on arrival that they were not currently registered so we were unable to use them. On our second night there was a screaming match happening in the home next door that is also owned by the property owners. The windows were wide open while they were having this massive argument, and it made enjoying the outside of the home awkward and uncomfortable while trying to enjoy the outdoors. We had no complaints about the home interior. It was clean and well kept up. Enjoyed our stay overall these were our two unfortunate aspects of our specific trip.

It was so nice to be in a place big enough for our whole family, where we could all be together for 3 1/2 days!!! The area was also very beautiful! The rooms were plenty big for everyone to enjoy! The kitchen was well supplied and she even had a Christmas tree put up just for us to enjoy the spirit.

The property was as listed on VRBO and the location was great, with ample parking, beautiful yard and landscaping. This location allowed for adequate daily shopping as needed, as well as touring the area. The river was great for the family and the use of the dock allowed for swimming, fishing & boating. We had a family reunion here and found it to be a lovely, fun, well-supplied, perfect home away from home. We had fun on the river, fun playing pool in the basement, enjoyed the great kitchen. We were glad we took camp chairs for outdoors.

Wonderful place to gather for family time together

We used this home to gather our family who were coming to town to celebrate the 90th birthday of my mother-in-law. We had plenty of room to spread out for small group conversations or for gathering the entire family. The different levels of the home made it easy to allow quiet places for those needing rest while others chose to work on puzzles at the kitchen table or sat and visited on the couch. The kitchen is well stocked with nice kitchen tools for just about need. The extra refrigerator on the lower level came in handy as well. The hosting team was very accommodating to any need we expressed.

80th birthday

The house was a perfect place for our family to meet up to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday. We had plenty of room for everyone (ages 10 mo - 80). We loved the big yard, play set, basketball hoop, & indoor games that kept everyone busy. Our favorite was having the dock on the Snake River & getting to enjoy all of the water toys! Amazing property for fun times

There were 25 of us from ages 1 to 73. The house accommodated us all very comfortably. The house is clean, nearly new, roomy with well-equipped kitchen. The balcony on main floor and patio on basement floor were great for gatherings. The yard was huge. The basketball court and pool table were well used by our family. The yard is huge with nice shade trees with a nice swing/Playset for the younger kids. The huge yard allowed some football scrambles. And the river was amazing. It was warmer and shallower than expected which put my grandma heart at rest, but plenty deep for good boating. Most of the day there was little traffic to interfere with kayaking, paddleboarding, skiing and tubing. We loved it!

Why they chose this property

This land has been in our family for 3 generations. Our Grandparents purchased this farm in the 1940s. Grandpa bought the land to farm, but even then he could see the wonderful value of living on the beautiful Snake River! He wanted it to be a place for his family to come together and we hope to share that experience with you, too!

What makes this property unique

This is the BEST place to enjoy time with family and play on the water. If you want to kayak and water ski this is the place to do it! Once you experience having your own private dock and easy access from the house to the water and vice versa, you will never want to play anywhere else!
