The Treehouse-5 minute walk to Village & Gondola

Hidden Valley 38 is a spacious and exceptionally comfortable one-bedroom plus loft condo that has been thoughtfully furnished, well equipped and carefully maintained. As my own Mammoth vacation home, I’ve made it a place that feels like home from the moment you arrive.

The condo is a spacious one-bedroom plus sleeping loft with two full bathrooms and accommodations for up to six guests. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed, while the large upstairs loft has two additional queen beds. With a full bathroom on each level, the layout works particularly well for families or couples traveling together.

The main living area has vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and large windows looking out into the surrounding pines. The condo faces east, so mornings bring plenty of natural light while the trees create the feeling of being tucked away in your own treehouse above The Village.

The kitchen was completely remodeled in 2023 and is one of the highlights of my home. I didn't cut corners on the renovation. It features natural-wood cabinetry, stone countertops and backsplash, updated lighting, new plumbing fixtures and GE appliances. The kitchen is fully equipped because this is where I actually stay and cook when I'm in Mammoth, and the dining table comfortably seats six.

After a day on the mountain, come home and relax by the wood-burning fireplace. Complimentary firewood is provided during the winter months. The condo also has high-speed Wi-Fi and Smart TVs in the living room, bedroom and loft for streaming with your own accounts. There is no cable television.
One of the biggest advantages of Hidden Valley is the location. The Village and Village Gondola are about a five-minute walk away, and Mammoth Brewing Company is even closer. During ski season, the Village Gondola provides easy access to Canyon Lodge. Mammoth's free bus and trolley system also makes it easy to get around town without driving. When I'm staying here, I usually stock up at Vons when I arrive and don't get back in my car until it's time to go home.

Hidden Valley has two Jacuzzis, saunas and a seasonal swimming pool. Common-area BBQs are available in the pool building next door. The BBQ on my private balcony is for owner use only.

Because this is my personal Mammoth home, you'll find it furnished and equipped as a home rather than as a bare-bones rental. I ask that guests treat it accordingly. No smoking and no pets.

For me, this condo has always been about the location, the trees and having a comfortable place to come home to after spending the day outside. I hope the guests I share it with enjoy it for the same reasons.
