The Park House has acquired this cozy one-bedroom carriage house for couples looking to get away from it all, while still being just a short walk to most of the city's best dining, shopping, and attractions.

Enter on street level next to a local boutique; the carriage is on the second floor of a historic, brick building. The living room is flooded with light, boasting tall ceilings and a handsome fireplace (now decorative) original to the home. Park your suitcases at the entry and relax in the clean, modern setting. Take a moment to appreciate Savannah's picturesque views. If you listen carefully enough, you're sure to hear a horse-drawn carriage clip-clopping past.

The fully equipped kitchen sits adjacent to the living area, with every cooking essential you'd need to whip up a meal, big or small. A breakfast nook for two faces the bay windows. The bedroom is just off the kitchen, with a Queen size bed and ample closet space to truly feel at home. Those traveling with littles will love the convenience of an in-home washer and dryer. The full bath is en suite to the bedroom, featuring a standing shower with soap and towels provided.

Walk a few steps South towards Forsyth Park, Savannah's largest green space frequented by local runners, dog-owners, and families. Head North towards the heart of downtown and enjoy walking through the squares of Bull Street; some of the city's most beautiful monuments. The Park House was perfect for our stay! The home was conveniently located next to Forsythe Park in a quiet neighborhood and away from the hustle and bustle of River Street - which was an easy walk from the home. We would recommend the home and would stay there again when we return to Savannah.

Cute, clean and comfy bed. Great location, stones throw to Forsyth Park. Good communication and resolution with an issue with the dryer. Very quiet neighborhood unless the Olgethorp Club is hosting an event. Reason for not giving a 5 is the bathroom and lack of amenities. The bathroom is tiny, hard to move around and shower is in need of a desperate update. One coffee packet, one roll of paper towels and 2 rolls of toilet tissue for a 7 night stay. Wifi is very slow and not conducive for remote work. I would stay here again as it was a good price, great location and. overall very comforable.

Short and sweet

We stayed for three nights. We had never been to the city and it was a grest location to be able to explore in every direction. Place was clean and air worked great (super high heat outside when we stayed.) Would suggest a notepad and pen some place, but other than that, nothing but good feedback!

Savannah stay

We got in on a Friday evening, parked, unloaded, walked to dinner and drinks, and did not drive again until we left Monday morning. The proximity to Forsyth park as well as River street was perfect. Size was perfect for the two of us. Clean. Bed was comfy. Highly recommend and we will definitely book here for our next trip to Savannah.

Private entrance and lovely accomodations in a delightful neighborhood feet from Forsythe park. Clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and the Lucky Savannah staff was wonderful. We wanted for nothing and will come again.

Spectacular Savannah!

I fell in love with Savannah all because of the location of this stay. It was the absolute PERFECT location. Clean, beautiful and so cozy. I felt safe too. I definitely plan on staying here again!

Well kept secret

Well kept secret in the heart of the historical section. Very comfortable and clean. Parking right outside. Highly recommended. Don’t miss out on taking a bike tour. We learned so much about Savannah. We will definitely be back!

The location, in relation to Forsyth, the churches, and shopping/dining was perfect, and the accommodations were adequate in number/type and superb in quality. During times not navigating around town in the rain, we were thankful to have had the washer/dryer and dishes so that we could clean up and snack prior to venturing back out. With tons of natural light and historic charm, the property allows for opportunities to check out the neighborhood while preparing for your next adventure. Our next stay in Savannah will begin with seeking out this property!

All about location

Excellent property in a great place. The pictures are accurate. You will be a minute from Forsyth park and maybe 20 minutes from the river up Bull St. Fascinating walk either way. If you enjoy ice in a beverage on arrival, think ahead and get some on the way. No ice machine and the closest place we found with ice was CVS by the river. Otherwise will return to this place again.

I loved this place! Such a great location on Bull street! It is so close to the Forsyth park and a fun safe walk to the River street area through several squares and tree lined streets!! I loved the high ceilings and the “old” feel to the apartment above the store! It had everything we needed! The bed was very firm and the pillows were flat, not a complaint but having a few different pillow and blanket options would be a nice touch!! We also appreciated the soaps and paper goods that were supplied! There was a small cleaning issue that will hopefully be taken care of b4 the next tenant but nothing that would keep me from coming back! I loved the apartment and the location!

I am not an athlete by any means; but it was true how walkable the city was.Easy access to the rental. There is 2 keypads so you don't have to worry about keeping track of a keyword. Washer and dryer on site. It was nice to do a load of laundry before we left to minimize the after-vacation laundry mountain.Air conditioner. This building had the old time charm with the necessary updates to keep you comfortable.Easy communication. I could not get the code to work on our door when I first arrived. I called and someone answered right away to give me a new code to try. They also followed up by messaging me the new code to be sure I had it.Location. At the very north part of Forsyth Park. We kept busy for 4 days walking everywhere in a 1 mile radius. Cons:The only con I would say is there is a flight of stairs to walk up. This may be a con if this is a physical limitation for you. But it is only 1 flight.

Great location with some small nitpicks

We visited Savannah to see the old homes and historic district, and this location was fantastic. Basically across the street from the Mercer-Williams home as well as Forsyth Park, this was an amazing place to stay and walk through downtown Savannah and explore the many squares and incredible streets. Far enough away from the more touristy areas but still within walking distance of River street, it was a beautiful 15 minute ride to Bonaventure Cemetery when we decided to go. There were so many restaurants that were just a 10-15 minute walk. In addition to the perfect location, the apartment itself was very nice with just a few issues. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked with gadgets. Everything was clean and it's an obviously historic building with tons of character. It was pretty quiet at night and the neighborhood seemed quite safe. My wife wasn't incredibly happy with the bathroom, which had very little space for my wife's things. There was plenty of wall space for shelves and hooks that could potentially be installed but she found it inconvenient to get ready due to having to shuffle things around a lot. It wasn't terrible but definitely something that can be improved. The only other thing that wasn't 5 star was the bed. The mattress - though clean - was well-used and the pillows were pretty flat. We usually bring our own pillows on trips but had forgotten this time and we were pretty sad that we had. It didn't ruin the trip or anything but was the weakest part. Overall we had a great time and were happy with the stay but the mattress/pillows were something to think about. We would stay again but will have to remember our own pillows at the very least. Again, the location is SPECTACULAR and well worth some minor issues.
