Verner was a unique man, the Old Buzzard, who had no fear of hard work. His famous grandson learned his craft of woodworking from the influence of this grandfather. We picked up where he left off to transform The Buzzard's Roost into Off The Grid Lodge to continue a unique experience for generations to enjoy; for you to enjoy.

Christmas getaway
We enjoyed our time in Dahlonega and at Off The Grid. The home is absolutely beautiful and we would definitely stay there again. It was a little farther to town than we expected but was no problem once we became familiar with the area.
It was an adorable place. I would stay there again!
