My husband and I had originally booked a cruise for these dates, but due to a last minute change to our departure airport, we had to cancel our cruise and find another holiday! In doing so, I stumbled across this little gem. Adelino's response times were impeccable, and he also arranged our transfers to/from the airport. He was also flexible in us arriving at the villa due to our early flight times. On arrival, we had a small welcome pack of fruit, water and a bottle of wine. The villa was very clean and all of the furniture, soft furnishings and appliances were of high end quality. My husband and I do like a bit of luxury when we go on holiday, so having a bathroom each was great! We only used one of the bedrooms - the en suite one - however the other two were of a good size, and the beds beautifully made with very clean bed linen. The kitchen had everything you could ask for, once again with high end appliances. The cutlery all matched, along with the crockery, pots and saucepans etc. We did have one small blip with the hob as it was an induction hob, which we have never used before. However, after ringing Adelino, he advised us that you have to put something in the saucepan for the induction hob to work, and then regulate the temperature from there on. The automatic ice dispenser had got stuck with ice, so we were unable to use that - but we bought a bag of ice cubes, so not a major problem! The outside pool and pool area was very clean, though we did not try out the swimming pool - it was a bit cold for us! The villa is situated on quite a steep hill, so bear this in mind. We went to the nearest small supermarket - which is down the hill from the villa, turn right and follow the road down the hill. We found this supermarket to be a bit overpriced, and we were literally followed around the shop, whilst doing our shopping by the cashier! This supermarket is okay for a top-up shop, but not for a major one. For our major shop we walked into Funchal and then into the larger supermarket Pingo Doce which had everything you needed and was very reasonable in price. We got a taxi back to the villa, which was 10 euro's. All in all my husband and I had a lovely week, and celebrated our wedding anniversary in a beautiful villa, with exquisite views and luxurious surroundings. Adelino was excellent as a proprietor and a thank you also has to be extended to the cleaning lady for her attention to detail. We would definitely recommend anyone to stay!

Stylish, clean, spacious and comfortable accommodation. Good sized lounge, kitchen & bedrooms. Great beds. Overall, much better than the photos on the website depict. Nice clean pool and outdoor area with lovely views to the sea. Buses and outstanding restaurants very nearby. Home owner very accomodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Schöne Unterkunft nahe Lido

Ein grosszügiges Haus mit 3 Schlafzimmer, geräumige und voll eingerichtete Küche, Ess- Wohnzimmer, Pool und Garage. Gute Betreuung durch Adelino, der auch normale Kleinigkeiten im Haus schnell geregelt hat. Die Zufahrtsstrasse zum Haus (Einbahnstraße) ist zwar sehr eng aber man gewöhnt sich bald daran und kommt damit gut zurecht.

Very clean, great location! Everything from arrival to departure was very smooth and easy. Great vila with great swimming pool. Cannot ask for more. If we’ll go back to Madeira that where we will stay again.

Magnifique maison très bien située

La maison est vraiment vaste, très bien située (centre ville et zone touristique accessibles à pied) et également très bien équipée. En dehors des vêtements, tout le reste est fourni et de qualité. Sa conception permet d'éviter tout vis à vis, la tranquillité est donc de mise. Adelino est un hôte charmant. Rien ne manque pour passer un excellent séjour dans cette île magnifique.

Flott hus med fin beliggenhet

Vi (fem personer) tilbragte jule- og nyttårshelga i denne flotte og romslige leiligheten. Fin utsikt mot både havet og byen. Fikk med oss fyrverkeriet på nyttårsaften fra den ene verandaen. Beliggenheten er god - bare en kort spasertur til sentrum. Gode restauranter ligger i nærheten. Vi kan trygt anbefale denne leiligheten.

Great Villa and Good Lication

Pictures don't do it justice. Spotlessly clean and really well equipped. Good location for walking into Funchal or good local restaurants. One of the nicest villas we have rented abroad and well managed without any problems.

Das Haus ist wunderschön und wir verbrachten herrliche 10 Tage auf Madeira. Die Ausstattung ist höchst modern und genügt auch durchaus gehobenen Ansprüchen. Adelino ist ein sehr netter und vertrauenswürdiger Vermieter. Die Lage ist ruhig und die Innenstadt in wenigen Autominuten erreichbar - ohne Mietwagen wäre es allerdings etwas mühselig. Sehr gerne wieder. Wir können das Haus nur weiterempfehlen!

Really enjoyed our stay in this villa. The bowl of fruit on arrival was a lovely idea. The villa was beautiful, very spacious and very clean. The standard of furnishings and kitchen equipment was excellent. The location was very convenient for visiting Funchal and also for getting onto the expressway. Found the entrance to driveway and parking on such a hilly driveway quite a challenge. We would have no problem recommending the villa to family and friends. Thank you Adelino.

Wir haben wunderschöne 2 Wochen in dem Haus auf Madeira verbracht. Das Haus hat viel Platz und ist sehr gepflegt. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt. Die Lage ist zentral und ruhig. Das Zentrum von Funchal ist in wenigen Autominuten erreichbar. Eine Bushaltestelle ist in unmittelbarer Nähe.
