This place is far from charming. It smells of mold. When I arrive the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes and there were dirty laundry stuffed in the closet. The electrical seems like it hasnât been updated since the 1950âs. There are no lamps next, or even in the same room as the bedrooms. Some of the towels smelled like they were put away wet or maybe not washed. I donât understand why the previous ratings are so high. The only thing I can think of is that it was never cleaned after the previous guests. But that doesnât account for the bed fan having a thick layer of filthy dust caked onto it. If youâre considering renting it, I would suggest you call the owner and make sure the place has been thoroughly cleaned or you would get a refund if it was as unpleasant as what my experience was. Because getting there and having it in the condition I experienced is no where near up to the standards the previous guest ratings that suggest. What I experienced leads me to believe that the owner car or check what condition it was left in before renting to the next guest. And when I confronted the owner she basically implied that I was lying.
