Why Shannon Koski chose Hancock
We wanted to provide housing and a destination for people to come and enjoy the area that we've called home our entire life.
What makes this Apartment unique
This property was built as a school and has an immense amount of history inside its walls, and we've tried to maintain that feel while accenting it with vintage/modern touches.

Great Property & Stay
Enjoyed this property immensely. Proximity to downtown Hancock and Houghton was ideal for our family. Apartment was modern and well cared for. Knowing the historic nature of the property made this a really unique stay. Views of the fall colors from the 3rd floor were amazing. Would stay here again without hesitation!
My coworkers and I enjoyed our stay at this impressive apartment. We were there for the MTU career fair and were very impressed with the location, ease of checking in, and comfort of the space. I have already booked it for the next fair!
Hancock by Houghton
The place was really nice and comfortable. The housekeeping was not as good as it could have been. Would recommend it for using as base to see lots of Keweenaw Peninsula.
We were in town for a wedding on the lake shore. Most of the guests stayed at The Quality Inn. We found this gem for less $ and much higher quality! Three bedrooms with comfy beds, full kitchen, a wifi speaker, shower with great water pressure and soft towels. Classy decor in a safe, quiet, building with ample parking.
Thank you for the review, Joli! Please come stay again anytime!
The rental was very nice. We enjoyed the community and it’s location allowed us to make easy one day adventures. The apartment was very clean and all new everything.
Beautiful spacious Vrbo
Our family of 7 enjoyed staying in this beautifully decorated, clean, renovated school! What a treat! We had plenty of room and hot water! Shannon was very helpful and replied quickly to my questions. The UP is just beautiful! Breathe taking views! We will be returning for sure. This Vrbo will not disappoint!
