This lovely home is elegantly and comfortably decorated with a modern, contemporary feel. Hardwood floors, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a jetted bathtub in the guest bathroom, a game room with vintage pinball machines (non-working/collection only), and full-sized billiard table make this home ideal for the family vacation. Internet is available but must be used for web browsing only, as it is slow at times, streaming is not available.

Located in the beautiful, gated, resort community of Pine Mountain Lake in Groveland, California, this home is just 26 miles to the north gate of Yosemite National Park. You will be within walking distance to Dunn Court beach and community horseshoe pits, and a 5-minute drive to golf course/pro-shop, tennis courts, community pool and the country club!

Well furnished and the game room was a nice surprise

Th house was well furnished and clean, except a few cob webs. Several of the pots and pans should be replaced. The bathrooms were set up Nicely, similar to hotels, with fresh towels and travel-size hygiene products. The gated front porch allowed our dog to enjoy the outdoors and the front and back lawn also provided close relieving areas. We especially enjoyed playing pool and our own board game in the Game room. Disappointed that the cool pinball machines were not usable. We determined that these are antiques. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely reserve this listing again along with recommending it to our family and friends.

Cute house, great street. but needs a deep cleaning.

I love the house, the decks and the location. Read the details about the entertainment. They are for show and not for use. Overall the house was mostly clean but I wasn't completely happy to pay for a cleaning fee when the floors had not been washed or the rug vacuumed. This place could use a good deep cleaning and some home entertainment upgrades.

The awesome house for country holiday!

1) the location (PML) is just a dream: pines, lake, relaxing and quiet atmosphere - all ingredients for a good summer vacation. 2) walking destination to the lake 3) cozy and quiet house with the amazing playroom in the garage. Any kids will be happy using it. 4) This house is perfect for family reunions with several generations meetups. 5) Excellent opportunity for traveling to Yosemite and other outdoor places around Groveland. Thanks for the hospitality and opportunity to have a nice time there!

Cute home that allowed our family to get together over the fourth, but it is old. Old furniture, old beds, only 4 tv channels, limited kitchen supplies (so bring your own). They did convert the garage into an awesome game room that is essential, but realistically I’d give it a 3.75/5. The location is great and our family will probably stay there again in the near future.

Beautiful place! Nice furnishings and big beds. The garage is actually a arcade room with a pool table and games. We were too tired after hiking to use it but it’d be fun for any group. I’d recommend bringing some extra blankets and a few extra towels. The kitchen is also nice and all the kitchenware and dishes we needed were there.

Pros and cons

There were a few things I would have wanted to know if I was renting this property again so i’ll share here for anyone interested. Pro’s- about 50 minutes from Yosemite the location is really great. The amount of space for our family with kids was really nice. The game room pool table was also a great addition. The hot water was on point, really nice in comparison to others I’ve stayed at. Large parking area was great. Cons- there were ants in both bathrooms, found my lotion covered in ants when we got up the first morning, yuck! The community pool the ad refers to does not apply to renters according to the PML staff. There are no kid items available (not expected but would have been nice to have a high chair or pack and play accessible) nor any beach towels so bring your own. Lastly the patio table outside and floors inside didn’t appear clean when we arrived which isn’t great when you have a crawler in the family like mine. Vacasa is the property manager and they apparently didn’t notify pine mountain lake gate entrance workers that there was a reservation which apparently is a known requirement. Overall it was an okay place to stay, if they got the ants and spiders under control inside I’d consider staying there again.

Property listed multiple amenities that weren’t working. AC didn’t work. heater didn’t work. It was 60 degrees in the house on the first night. My son was excited about the game room. We paid additional money for this house because of the game room. Only 1 out of 6 games worked. The rest were out of order. Worst of all the WiFi didn’t work. We called Vacasa 3 times and emailed and spoke with Vacasa mgmt. They assured us it would be fixed but it never was. They never called back. The property was clean but the floors were pretty dirty. And there were not enough wash cloths in the house for the guests. There were no instructions about check out. Our stay was 3 nights.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. Allowing our dog was a huge plus! Beautiful home in a nice gated community in the mountains. The game room is amazing as well! Home is located very close to Dunn Ct beach, Yosemite entrance, and a lot of fun hiking trails. We were really glad to find this vacation home!

Clean home for family getaway

The house was clean with some small glitches, nothing too drastic. Neighborhood safe, game room awesome except no central heating in the game room. Our family had a wonderful time staying here.
