SHARI'S PLACE - UNEXPECTED CHARM; STAND-ALONE COTTAGE

NEW - Refurbished patio and yard with extra seating (see photos). This adorable cozy, stand alone home is quiet with unusual items that you will not see in other vacation rentals. **There is no longer a gas "stove" in the kitchen** We have substituted a new Air Fryer, two burner gas stove top and a large electric skillet. Our guests are amazed that we provide literally everything you may need or want. "Margarita" is conveniently located in the middle of our fabulous San Luis Obispo County wine country. Just 10 minutes to San Luis Obispo on the South bound HWY 101 and 20 minutes to Paso Robles on North bound HWY 101. This home is very close to town and a wonderful place for walking. In town, you will find Ancient Peaks wine tasting and across the street is Santa Margarita Adventures for Zip lining and tours. I do my best to keep my house extremely clean and well maintained and very well equipped. Linens are professionally cleaned and ironed. I personally make sure that all all linens are in top condition for your comfort. Our home is powered by solar! ALWAYS DOING OUR BEST FOR YOUR BEST EXPERIENCE.

Shari's place was an excellent place to stay! Quiet, comfy, two areas to sit outside, places to eat nearby (walkable). The bed was lovely, coffee was available and Shari added a little bit extra; some banana bread as a treat. We would definitely stay there again.

A nice retreat

A cute, charming, clean and comfortable cottage with an accommodating owner. In a sleepy rural town a quick drive from San Luis Obispo, this was a nice place to wind down after graduation in SLO. Walking distance to a good breakfast and a few antique/vintage stores. .

Charming Santa Margarita Getaway with Perfect Outdoor Spaces

The house was lovely and perfectly located for my stay. I could easily walk into town for a light meal or wine tasting at Ancient Peaks. It was also ideally situated between San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles. The house itself was beautifully outfitted with everything I needed for a weekend away. I especially enjoyed the two outdoor seating areas where I could sit with my morning coffee and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Santa Margarita Gem

Shari’s Place is a very comfortable spacious cottage on a quiet private lane. With many special touches, the cottage has everything needed for cooking, relaxing, and restful sleep. Our stay at Shari's place was outstanding! She was warm and welcoming, the little house was clean, comfortable and cozy, and the neighborhood and town were quiet and felt safe. The kitchen, laundry, bathroom and linen closet were all well stocked and contained everything we needed. We were able to cook several great meals for ourselves to save a few bucks on our trip, and after longer days of walking, hiking, and swimming, we had no problem getting comfortable and having restful nights of sleep. We highly recommend Shari's place!

NEW ITEMS: ALL NEW WINDOW COVERINGS, BETTER WI-FI, NEW SET OF SHEETS, NEW HALL CLOSET AND QUARTZ COUNTERS. FYI - The power went out yesterday, but our vacation rental had power because of our solar program with battery backup!!!

Why they chose this property

My husband purchased this property in 1982. Many things have happened between then and now, but it's our favorite house - loving it more than our residence next door! The front house was built by a carpenter. The back house was originally a garage and has expanded and improved throughout the years.

What makes this property unique

Cozy, comfortable, nice size rooms, storage, separate laundry room and you cannot help but feel a specialness while you are here. We are unique in that I think we are the only one bedroom in town and I will bet it is the cleanest! I actually use your cleaning fee to pay my excellent cleaners - and then, I look at it again and again.

In the living room you will find a new GOOD QUALITY sofa with a pull out standard bed. No middle bar and a comfortable, good mattress.
