Our group had a wonderful stay at the Pet-Friendly Mountain Retreat. The rooms are comfortable and an ample size (especially the primary suite!) The kitchen is fully stocked with everything we needed to make dinner for 7 people. After a long day of skiing at nearby Palisades, the hot tub was a perfect touch. The property manager was communicative, checking in to see if there was anything else we needed (there wasn't because all was provided!) We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay in the snow

Wonderful cabin with plenty of space, very comfortable. Close to snowy hikes and skiing. Loved spending time in the hot tub. Communication was prompt and easy.

Wonderful house

The house was clean and spacious! We loved the hot tub and the upstairs master suite. The basement was the perfect spot for our teens to relax although they didn’t sleep down there. The other 2 bedrooms were comfortable and big enough for the 4 of them to sleep. It was a great stay!

Great place and awesome staff

We had a great time staying at the house — staff was really responsive and let us check in early / check out late. It was easy and comfortable. Also - there was a bonus family room with two extra beds!

Fantastic rental property!

We have rented many units in the Tahoe area and this one was the best. The property was in a fantastic neighborhood was extremely clean and comfortable and very close to downtown Truckee. The hot tub on the deck was large and warm by the time we got there. We extremely enjoyed our four night visit and look forward to renting this property again.

Nice house, management was great

The house was very well equipped in the kitchen. Knives as dull as can be, but I have learned to bring my sharpener. The house had most of the other things one would want. The check in and communication from the management company was very good. Couple of lightbulbs were burned out, and they brought us replacements (house had some, but these were a weird fitting). Overall good stay!

Great place lots of stairs

This place was great! There was a bit of confusion with closing procedures and check out. VRBO said check out was 11:00 property manager said 10:00. There were also different instructions on the refrigerator than what was emailed and then a third set of instructions in the laundry room . There is no outdoor lights down stairs so the dog had to wait until there was light to verify there were no bears. The kitchen had plenty of dishes. We had four teens with us and they had a great time downstairs and in the hot tub. The place was located close enough to enjoy Truckee Thursdays which is a lot of fun. We would stay again.

Great Home for Family Vacation

This was a great home for our family vacation. Spacious, kitchen was stocked for all your cooking/baking needs and the hot tub on the deck was definitely a bonus. Located in lower Tahoe Donner so you are not too far from downtown Truckee, Donner Lake etc. Would definitely rent this home again! Thank you Tahoe Signature!

Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful time at this propety. The home was beautiful, perfect for a family or group of friends. We loved the hot tub, and had a great time in the snow! The garage had a ping pong table, which is my new favorite game to play! The basement room is a little cold, but get the space heater going and it's perfect! Fire place was magical and so easy to use. Kitchen items were plentiful and appliances worked great! We would definitely rent this home again!

Not a good summer house

There is nowhere to sit outside - the deck is cramped with the hot tub and the table. The backyard is a slope, so there is no where to put a chair and chill. Also, the photos make this house seem light and airey- but the furnishings are pretty old and the bedroooms are pretty small and dark. We ended up not staying and found somewhere else.

Great family mini-vacation

We went there with our kids and their friends. The house looks as described in the pictures, it is big and there is plenty of room. The kitchen is equipped with any utensils one can think of - it was a pleasure to prepare dinners there. The hot tub is functional. The beds were comfy. Overall, the entire house is functional and we had a good time there. The neighborhood is very quiet, most of the houses around were not inhabited (we went there after some schools started). The house has access to the community center and the private beach (just fyi - right next to the private beach which has a $15 entrance per guest there is a state park beach where you don't have to pay anything).
