Peaceful Tahoe Donner 3 BR/3 BA Home with private Hot Tub and Sauna
This beautiful 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom house in Tahoe Donner is sunny and south-facing. It has a roomy, modern updated kitchen with a double oven, induction cook top and microwave. A new furnace and wood-stove keep the house nice and warm in the winter.
3 Bedrooms are as follows: one king, one queen and two twins. There is also a small bedroom with a single bed off of the master bedroom, a loft with a twin day bed and another small dorm-style sleeping loft with a full mattress. A portable crib and queen-sized air mattress are also available for your use.
There is a basement entertainment room with a 101" screen projection TV with DVD player, streaming and movie library. Downstairs also has a Finnish sauna and 3rd bathroom. The back deck has a 6-person private hot tub.
The house is part of the Tahoe Donner Association so you have guest access to all of the Tahoe Donner facilities - the marina, the well-equipped gym and pools, and the equestrian & mountain bike center.
The driveway is flat (important in winter), can easily fit 4 cars, and the garage has space for one car. Wood for you to use during your stay can be found in the garage. Also in the garage for your use are sleds, 3 pairs of snowshoes and a snowman kit (from LL Bean). We usually sled behind the house as it is easy and protected.
One dog is OK (not on furniture or in beds please). Absolutely NO smoking!
The house backs on to Forest Service land and we have very quiet neighbors so it is nice, private and peaceful.
This is our private home that we rent out only occasionally. It is very clean and well-stocked with anything you need for cooking (spices, oils, etc). Washer and dryer on main level too.
