The Best Beach Front Location on West Bay Beach!!! This 2500 square foot, 3 bedroom, 3 bath, two story condo is brand new and very spacious. It is right on the beach in West Bay. It is close to everything yet very quiet and private. You do not get the people traffic from the Cruise Ships. The water taxi comes right out front for your convenience.

There are only 6 condos in this project. There are two huge patios to enjoy the incredible views from. We are completely furnished right down to BBQ and beach towels. Please see more information and pictures on our website. We can also lock off the second story to make the property more affordable. Please call us or email us regarding our low season rates.

This Condo is in need of repairs. Not worth the money.

A rundown rental unit! The employees that support the rental unit are all wonderful and try to maintain the condo we believe the best they can. We know it is Roatan, but we have stayed in other rentals that have been very well maintained, and have been extremely happy. We feel we were taken advantage of, and did not get what we paid for. We see there have been recent good reviews and simply do not understand that! For example, the top level deck chairs were grossly rusted, and would break if you sat on one. There were rust chunks falling all over the deck floor making it not nice to walk on. We sent photos of the deck furniture to the owner and were told they would be "replaced". Little good this was to us for our two week vacation. The kitchen was "okay", but the flatware, can opener, other items were all rusted, holes in the ice cube trays etc. depicting overall low maintenance. All of the bathrooms should be completely gutted. There was no shower head in the main floor bathroom when we arrived, just a pipe coming out of the wall, the toilet seat was broken. The taps in the master bath suite fell out while trying to shower the second day, John the nice maintenance man came in and did his best to patch up what we had so that we could use it, however the shower is sub par for what you are paying. The ceiling in the dining area leaks which causes the light and ceiling fan not to work. When we arrived there was a piece of tape on one of the switches so that we could not use dining area lights due to previous leaks and lack of electrical repairs. During our stay the problem got worse and none of the lights or ceiling fans in the dining area, living room and stairway to the second floor would work. If you tried to reset the breaker sparks would fly. We contacted the owner Debbie and were told that the problems are being looked into. If that is the case don't rent out the unit at a premium rate when it is not a premium property. During our 2 week stay the power went out on the island, something that is common, not a big deal however when the unit you are renting does not have power and you look around and see that other six units in the building do have power because they are hooked up to the backup generator and your unit is not, you feel kind of cheated. As it turns out the owner has chosen not to be attached to the backup generator.

We would not rent from this owner again, ever.

Owner's Response: "In response to this review the issues made mention within it are being addressed immediately (rusted table and chairs have already been removed). It is not our intentions nor has it ever been to have our property in a substandard condition which by no means has been advocated by previous parties that have rented out our property. We have instructed our property manager to identify each and everyone of the issues made mention and have spoken to him and will get daily updates as to the progress and completion of each of these issues. As far as the problem with the leak and electrical, the leak has been addressed several times and never did we have the electrical problem in the past. That is a new issue. The drywall is being torn out right now to fix the electrical problem. The renter was told NOT to touch the breaker because it was dangerous and he chose to anyways. The power issue regarding the generator will not be something that we will partake in because the generator functions on an extremely limited basis. We want to make mention that power outages since the local utility company has been purchased by an American have been greatly reduced and will soon be non existent. Outages experienced within the past 12 months have been quite limited and the time spans in which the power is out is for usually no more than a couple of hours at most. Not participating in having our unit hooked up to the generator was due to the non efficient reliability of the generator itself which was breaking down more than it was working. We also want to make mention that the remark concerning complete rehab of the bathrooms is a gross and overstated comment. Changing out the faucet handles and shower heads in the bathrooms does not constitute a complete bathroom rehab. We were not aware that some of the problems were as bad as they were because the last time we were there everything was still working. The salt water air deteriorates things quickly and most of the time the quality of replacements is not as good as sending them from the U.S., however, that takes much more time to get it resolved and up to par. Anyone reading this review and response that is considering renting this unit, please contact me and I will give you an update of the progress we have made to complete these repairs along with proof that these problems have or have not been completed. “Wonderful home at a pristine location”

The home-owner is a wonderful person who will do everything possible to make the stay enjoyable and user-friendly. The house is located near Gumbalimba Park and just around the corner from West Bay. It is a tasteful and efficient home that combines the rustic beauty of the Island with all the amenities of the US. The house is fully furnished with AC and TV/games for the kids. The view from the master bedroom can't be matched anywhere on the Island: it's as if you are in the trees and can reach out and touch the water.

Outside, the house is located right on the beach. The dock near the house makes it a perfect place for Scuba Diving pick-ups and drop-offs and water-taxis are a very cheap, affordable way to tour other parts of the Island. It isn't uncommon for vendors to stop by and offer fresh fish, shrimp, or lobster from their morning catch. When you are done swimming, there is an outdoor shower that makes it real easy to clean off your children before entering the house. Roatan is a magical, friendly Island with wonderful people. This house enhances that reputation and will make your trip all the more memorable.

Perfect Location! Family Friendly!

Location could not have been better steps from a pool & beach, as well as the many shops and restaurants.The home was beautiful/comfortable. Everything to make our stay away from home perfect and memorable! Travelling 4 adults, 1 child, 1 infant

We highly recommend as very family friendly and hope to return again!

Location, Service, and Comfort for All Ages

Our stay at Casa Cervantes was incredible from beginning to end. Working with Debbie in advance of our trip was easy. She was very responsive to all of our questions and helped arrange our transfers to the condo (2 flights and 1 ferry arrival). The team on the island were cordial, friendly, and extremely helpful. Upon our arrival, we got a detailed tour of the house and were given a local phone. The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessities to feed our group of 8 adults/children. There was plenty of drinking water as well. The rooms were spacious with comfortable options for the small kids. The AC provided a great reprieve from the heat and allowed for us to have the best sleep while we were there. The pool outside our villa was perfect for the kids.

The location cannot be beat. A few steps from West Bay, we could enjoy the best beach on the island without the hustle and bustle of vendors and tourists.

The check-out process was easy as our driver arrived and we were greeted by John and Kevin for a friendly farewell. We learned a day later that we left prized item (my sons teddy bear!). With a quick call to Kevin, he put it on the afternoon ferry to La Ceiba where we were staying.

The location of Casa Cervantes and the incredible service provided by Debbie and her team cannot be surpassed.

You know its a good time when you're already planning your next trip while you're on vacation!!

loved the location!

The property is well taken care of and in the perfect location. Close to all the restaurants but removed enough that you feel secluded. The caretaker took us out on a couple snorkel/fishing expeditions. The beach is great for playing and the snorkel just off the house is as good as any in the island. Owner will change a few shower heads that need to be replaced. Very well equipped house!

Amazing location, walking distance to activities

Location is the very best. Beach front, cruise ships going by during morning coffee, sunsets on the patio, ocean view and walk to shops, restaurants and all activities. a true find!
