Beautiful Lakefront Cabin on PRIVATE Mercer Lake! Endless 4 Season Fun!


***If you're interested in a stay of less than 7 days, please send us an inquiry. Due to county laws requiring a minimum stay of 7 nights, the full week will need to be booked. However, we can adjust your rate to only charge you for the days you plan to stay.

We are once again offering our home for rent on Mercer Lake a short ten minutes from Minocqua. With no public boat access, there is minimal lake traffic, excellent fishing and abundant wildlife, including loons and eagles. Experience arguably the best North Woods fishing on our Class-A Musky and Walleye lake with very low fishing pressure. Other abundant fish species include Smallmouth bass, Pike, Crappy, Perch, Bluegill and other panfish. We have added a downstairs suite and additional sleeping area, bathroom, living area and mini-kitchen. 2 double kayaks, a single person kayak and 2 paddleboards are included with the rental during your stay. We recently expanded our dock to provide more space to enjoy the views or watch your kiddos swim! A few steps away there is a beautiful lakeside fire pit.

INSIDE The HOUSE...Top to bottom, the dormer loft has five single beds divided into two separate bedrooms. (3-2) plus a half bath. The open concept main floor has a field stone fireplace at one end and a newly remodeled kitchen at the other. Here there are all the kitchen amenities we could think of. There are two main floor bedrooms both with queens along with the full bath.
The downstairs space includes another queen bed, the mini kitchen and seating area TV and an attractive gas stove. Enjoy the Pacman arcade game, dart board, board games and DVD library on rainy days or evenings spent inside. The sight lines from both levels are remarkable onto the lake only a steps away.

The State land beyond is the scenic backdrop. Whether you like snowmobiling, ATV'ing, ice fishing, cross-country skiing or snow shoeing, this location is ideal for snow lovers with direct access to thousands of miles of marked and groomed snowmobile trails right from the property. This beautiful setting on Mercer Lake is only ten minutes from Minocqua with all nearby attractions yet feels remote and special.


*We do have Wifi but due to the "Northwoods nature" it can be very spotty at times

*Please note that our outside deck is scheduled for painting in the summer of 2025. We have stripped the old paint off in preparation. There are no issues with the deck but it is now bare wood until the painting is complete.

Absolutely no fireworks on the property, dock, or boat
We do not have a service available to us to blow off the deck often. Pine needles can accumulate. A blower is provided should you want to remove them

Wonderful stay on Lake Mercer! Our two children (ages 3 and 5) wouldn’t come out of the lake- the beach area was perfect. Kayaks, hammock, grill, dvds- all made our stay very enjoyable! We hope to come back next year!

Beautiful and peaceful location

We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful and peaceful location. We watched loons, eagles and deer.The family room areas are very comfortable. The bedrooms are functional but quite small.We had everything we needed for a comfortable week except the WiFi was never functional.

Perfect ice fishing getaway!

This was absolutely the perfect place for our annual friends ice fishing weekend. The cabin was spacious for all of us and the host was amazing! Everything we needed was there and felt right at home.

Nice property for larger groups

Nice location for a fishing weekend with ample space for larger groups. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, and open space on lower and 1st level with enough parking spaces as well. Lake has some nice fishing spots with good diversity.

Great Location

We had a great family weekend at this property. The location is great, we were close to Winterpark for cross country skiing. We had LOTS of snow while there and had to extend an extra night due to blizzard road conditions. The owner was very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Weekend away in the woods

Mercer lake adventure

Really enjoyed our stay, the lake was was beautiful and very peaceful we didn’t have the best weather but it was very nice trip. Much needed and will definitely come back. I will miss hearing the loons every evening.

Nice cabin on the lake. The refrigerator didn't work which was a pain but they brought us a new one in a couple days. Management was quickly helpful for any questions or problems that we had.

Family Vacation

This was our second year staying here. Did not disappoint! Plenty of room for our family. Will definitely stay again. We love the property and the area. Having the new boat rental was an awesome upgrade and our family made great memories tubing and fishing and getting out on the lake. The house really has everything you’d need and more. The owners are quick to respond with the few questions we had and that was really appreciated.

Family vacation

The lake was amazing. Fishing was fantastic. The house fit us all perfectly. It was a great space for our large family to make memories. Kitchen fully stocked for cooking. Having use of the washer and dryer was a bonus. Lake swimming was 5 stars! Easy drive to downtown. We will definitely be back!

Peaceful Retreat

This was such a wonderful place for our adult family retreat! The cabin is cozy and beautiful! The setting was peaceful and serene, but yet close to town. The six of us totally enjoyed our time there! The changing leaves were breathtaking and the weather was perfect! We rented the owner's pontoon and fished around the lake as well as off the pier. The fishing was great and we even caught some nice bass off the pier. We had a wonderful time making great memories, and if we ever make it back up to northern Wisconsin, we would totally stay here again!
