A quaint couples cabin nestled in the woods. Relax in the private hot tub and enjoy the view and wildlife! Fully equipped with a kitchen, bathroom, gas grill, and a firepit. Located in the heart of Hocking Hills!
We have 16 cabins on a total of 30 acres. We have a wide range of cabins from couples cabins up to cabins that sleep 10 guest. All of our cabins have hot tubs. Located in the heart of Hocking Hills! So many fun activites in the Hocking Hills region including rock climbing and rapelling, hiking, horseback riding, exploring Old Man's Cave, riding ATV's, petting zoos, etc. the list goes on and on. So many restaurants/bars and antique shops to choose from.

The first impression was rotting wood on the porch. There is a strong smell of mildew as soon as you enter. It wasn't dirty per say. But all of the furniture is awful. The bed and loveseat sink in. One of the inside chairs and one of the outside chairs are broken. Even the stove and refrigerator need replaced. They're rusted and gross.

Overall, we loved our stay, minus the very small bed and broken deck chair.

We liked the location and the secludedness of the cabin. However, 4WD really is a must to get up that hill! Had all the amenities we needed. Chair on the deck is in need of repair, and the fire pit had garbage in it when we arrived.

Our first impression as we turned onto our road was we're not in Kansas anymore. There is this rundown property with all kinds of deteriorated homes, trailers, and cars. It left us with an uneasy, "you got a purdy mouth" feeling. Then we turned onto the gravel road that has all of these rental cabins. They were labeled clearly and spaced apart pretty well. It was kind of fun driving down this road to get to our cabin, but itd be nice if they'd come through and fix the countless ruts that we had to dodge. The location seemed to be very central to a lot of the things we wanted to do which was nice.When we opened the door to the cabin, we were punched in the face with heavy mold odors which instantly triggered our allergies. Luckily it was nice outside with very few bugs so we were able to air it out pretty well.When we opened up the hot tub, we were punched in the face again by chlorine so strong that it burned our eyes and throats. I think the dispenser floating in there must've been designed for a pool. I took it out and left it open to air that out as well. The water level was also low so we had to fill it up with the hose that was nearby.There were rotten boards at the front door, rust on the fridge and oven, boogers and a bug carcass on the blanket. The bed, pillows, and even the couch were very thin and had no life to them, we just sank into all of them and we arent big people. More lighting would've been nice. A board is used to lock the back door.

Disappointed

We couldn’t get ahold of the host or property manager, we didn’t end up staying there thankfully there was a hotel we found to stay at. Don’t book if you don’t have a 4x4 or a big truck because you won’t make it there just like we couldn’t. Dirt road with pot holes everywhere at a very steep incline. We got stuck in the middle of the road close to the cabin. Wish the manager would have communicated if you don’t have a truck you’re not going to be able to get there. There was no cell service to get any help. Horrible experience hopefully i will be able to get my Money back as it’s hard to get ahold of the owner

It was cozy and clean. The microwave was kinda beat up but it worked. There were cobwebs in corners and on the fan but other than that it felt clean. It was a cute cozy cabin. Bring extra blankets if you get cold.

It was great, very relaxing.

I really enjoyed how clean it was and it was a very relaxing stay. The only criticism I have would be the pathway to enter the cabin. The pictures make it seem way more accessible than it really is. The path needs to be a little better filled in. Personally being in wheelchair I was not expecting it to be super accessible or anything to begin with. But the path could be more flat down the middle going to the cabin. Oveall 10/10 recommend, would love to stay again in the future. Thank you!

Property description is deceiving

The posting indicates 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and pictures suggest the same. It is actually a 1 room cabin with the bathroom in a closet sized room and the glass front shower in the main room which allows no privacy. The cabin was very eirty

Sweet Dreams

We stayed in the Sweet Dreams cabin managed by Blue Rose Cabin rentals. What a wonderfully put together space. Nice bathroom set up with everything being it's own separate space. Stand alone shower. Private toilet and a sink between both. Comfortable bed. The kitchenette was very functional plus there was a gas grill out back on the deck with a table and chairs for 2 and a hot tub with a great view of the the stars. The drive up to the cabins are rough so take an SUV, jeep or truck especially if there is heavy rain or winter weather. Definitely a destination I will come back to. It's right in the middle of middle of the best hiking and some of the most spectacular features and rich history. Love it all.

Fun experience but with unsafe feelings.

It is a cute small cabin. However the water never got hot, there was no travel sized bar soaps, I couldn't tell if the hot tub was sanitized because I could not smell or see any chemicals and all 3 windows were unlocked including the one directly above the bed. One of the windows actually could not be locked because the mechanism was broken. This did not make me feel very safe. The smoke alarm may or not have been in working order. You couldn't tell because there was no green light or any other light on it to indicate that it was working. This also made me feel unsafe, especially because it was really dark at night and it was almost the last cabin down a long road.

Great cabin with accommodations just as advertised

I really enjoyed the seclusion. The communication between myself and the owners was fantastic. They were able to extend my stay without issue and were available to answer any other questions or concerns.

As soon as we pulled into the cabin I noticed trash by the side of the cabin and immediately got concerned. The cabin was dirty inside and out on the deck. The hot tub had slim on the top. The bed was uncomfortable and could use new pillows. My husband and I normally stay in airbnbs several times a year and all have had coffee. There was a coffee pot and fliters but no coffee. I would definitely not stay there again.
