In the heart of the Pocono Mts. we're minutes from major attractions..Skytop Lodge, Mt. Airy Casino, Camelback Ski Resort, Pocono Raceway, Crossings Outlets, Camel Beach & Kalahari water parks, & more! Our small town has unique boutiques, a candle shop, Callies candy kitchen, bakery, deli & many antique and gift shops. There is a bowling alley, zip lining, rock climbing, horseback riding, snow tubing, ice skating & a shooting range, Ice Lake for hiking, just to name a few, all within 3 miles! State Park 10 miles.

The space

Our 4 bedroom/2 bath lodge themed ranch is spacious, cozy, clean and comfortable! The huge ceiling to floor windows throughout the home make it easy to enjoy a view of the great outdoors no matter what room you are in. We also have a camping area in the yard with a fire pit, out door games, a gas grill and a charcoal grill and dining area.

Guest access

You will have sole access to the home and yard, however, the garage is not part of the rental. There is a camera in the garage, but does not invade guests' privacy as it is pointed in the entrance of the garage only, an area where guests do not access.

Interaction with guests

We are close enough to assist should any problems arise, yet far enough away to give you 100% privacy on your vacation.

Other things to note

Our home has a small step-up making it easy for wheel chair accessibility. Black Bear Lodge also has a huge closed in porch with comfy furniture. Perfect spot for a summer snooze!

Perfect Location

We had a family wedding at Tall Timber Barn and this home was the perfect place to stay. Carla was very accommodating and made sure that the house was ready for our family including firewood for the fire pit! If you are looking for a quiet getaway in the woods, this is definitely a great home to stay in!

We are nestled on a country road, surrounded by woods, yet close to all major attractions. There is plenty of outdoor space for camping under the stars for our true outdoor adventurists, a fire pit area with many outdoor games, and dining area with a charcoal and gas grill. Inside we have ceiling to floor windows in every room so you are always connected to the outdoors. There are 4 bedrooms and 1 1/2 bathrooms. It is spacious, clean, comfy and cozy. The decor is a true Pocono lodge theme. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, dishes, mugs, glasses, casserole pans, cookie sheets, utensils, spices and more. The closed in porch has comfortable seating and a dining area. In the warm months, with the 2 doors open, you can access the kitchen and dining room, keeping you in contact with each other at all times.
