The pictures do not do this cabin justice! This is definitely a luxurious Royal Canadian Lodge. Both kitchens and numerous restrooms came stocked with everything we needed. The property was clean and well-maintained. The owner Linda Meyer was extremely pleasant and helpful. I would recommend this cabin to everyone I know! We had 40 guests and all slept comfortably. We enjoyed a nature walk around the cabin and took a short ride to “Magic Mountain” where the kids could sled.

Great stay for large groups (retreats)

  • 4 of 5

Our church's youth group has gone to the Royal Canadian Lodge for several years straight now.

We've had a wonderful time each year. The lodge has a ping pong table, foosball table, pool table, and enough space to hold over 30 people. We did have a small pest problem but the landlord promptly helped us out w/ that.

The kitchen has the main amenities you need for cooking meals for a large group. And the a/c and heating units work well throughout the house.

It's very close to Bear and Snow Summit, which makes it convenient for those wishing to ski/snowboard.

It is an older lodge, but it's in fine condition overall. And if we've had any issues, they have been minor at most, and the property manager has been very prompt about fixing anything.

I'd highly recommend it for a group outing.

I don't know where to begin, but here you go! The Lodge is even more spectacular in person and exceeded all of our expectations! Linda was so helpful during the reservation process and provided all the information you could need to make your stay effortless! We had around 20 family members with us, ages 3 to 71 and everyone had such a great time! One of the best family vacations ever and we plan to book this wonderful lodge in the future!

Great stays for many years in a row!

  • 5 of 5

Our church's youth group has stayed at the Royal Canadian Lodge for several years in a row now. We have found it to be an ideal place for 20-30 students and adults. The facilities are well-maintained, clean, and spacious. The manager and landlord were easy to work with. And our time at the lodge has produced many wonderful memories. The bunkhouse on the bottom floor is a real treat (sleeping 14 people in 7 super-high bunk beds). Overall, great place and location (extremely close to Snow Summit).
