Very lovely place, perfect for our family of 5, 3 bedrooms was wonderful. Brilliant location, cannot fault anything. Will definitely stay here again!

The cottage exceeded our expectations. Very clean and had everything we needed, the board games and jigsaws were appreciated after a busy day exploring. We loved the art in the cottage and inspired us to replicate some at home. Contact with the host and check in was easy. We would certainly stay here again. Thank you

The property was excellent. Very clean with everything we needed. Close to the sea front. Short walk to town and parking. The host was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this property.

Positives:-Location was perfection, so close to everything -Beds were comfy and there was ample space and storage-Owner was responsible via messaages-Kitchen was wonderful-Very comfortable cottage feel-WIFI was very good (downstairs, upstairs was not so good)-Fan was provided, which was needed since the cottage tends to be warmThings to be aware of;-There are NO ammeneties provided! No coffee, no paper towels, no shower soap. We were there for seven days and there was 1 1/2 rolls of toilet paper (a few days into the stay they did drop off some more toilet paper). We were not aware of this and it was not explicitly stated in the description.-There were alot of spider webs and spiders. I do understand it was the end of the high season and we did have windows open, but they were there when we arrived. The place could have done with a better cleaning before we got there.-The television was not good, I think one of the cables was going bad. The service would go out and we would giggle the cable and it would come back on for a bit and then go out again.Overall a pleasant stay!

We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the cottage, particularly its location, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen and cosy cottage feel. We’re also pleased that you found us responsive and that the Wi-Fi and fan were useful during your stay. We’re sorry, however, that you were disappointed by the lack of amenities . It is a self catering cottage but we do provide some basics . Toilet roll in each toilet , hand wash , washing up liquid , dishwasher tablets etc. shower gel and toiletries are in the bathroom , but not on display as we find this is very personal . But we do appreciate your feedback and take your comments on board. We’re also sorry about the spider webs and spiders you encountered. Although the cottage is an older property and spiders can unfortunately appear within a day or so . I know this year has been particularly bad for spiders However they should not have been noticeable when you arrived, so we will try and go in day before if possible to do a final sweep . Thank you also for letting us know about the television connection. I have just come back and had no problems so must have righted itself but will keep an eye . We’re pleased that, despite these minor issues, you had an overall pleasant stay, and we really appreciate your feedback. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future.

Beautiful cottage right in the heart of Mousehole . Had everything we needed , very well equipped , and beds were comfy. it was all lovely and clean , and decor was tastefully done . It's an older cottage with lots of character which we loved . We particularly enjoyed sitting in the bedroom window seat watching the sea. All in all can't fault this little cottage . Great places to eat in village as well , but need to book as they get busy . Ideal base for exploring what is a lovely part of Cornwall We will come back for longer next time .

We spent a wonderful few days walking the coast path around Mousehole, and Vivien’s cottage was quite simply the perfect base for us. Comfy beds, modern kitchen, ample seating and just a few steps from all that Mousehole had to offer. We would definitely recommend the cottage if you’re looking for a cosy Mousehole bolthole.

We had a lovely stay in Mousehole. The cottage was perfect in every way, very clean on arrival, well equipped and close to all the local amenities. All the rooms were beautifully decorated with a coastal theme throughout which gave it a lovely holiday feel. Another great bonus was the two upstairs bathrooms, which seems hard to find in Mousehole. The harbour, restaurants, shops and galleries are all just a short walk away. It’s a great place to stay and the location is perfect for exploring the south of Cornwall.

The cottage is lovely, cosy and warm. Its position in Mousehole is great. Although we had problems at the beginning of our holiday, once resolved we had a good time there. I’m quite sure that the problems we had were a one off and wouldn’t hesitate to return

quaint, beautiful cottage in one the beautiful settings in Cornwall

we loved it. access to the Cornwall buses was easy and vital to those travelling Cornwall. the locals were very welcoming and helpful. restaurants were exceptional. the cottage was a delight, comfortable and very accessible

Wonderful location and ample space. This character cottage is perfect for a short break to Mousehole. Surprising amount of space- perfect for 4 people. Lovely to be able to walk to the pubs and restaurants and enjoy the Mousehole lights at this time of year.

Lovely cottage in a perfect location - just a few minutes walk to the harbour.The cottage is spacious, clean, comfortable and has everything we needed. Mousehole is delightful & within easy reach of spectacular beaches, the South West Coastal path and lots of ancient sites. Communication with the host was easy and a response to any of our queries was immediate.Our second visit to this property so what better recommendation!

Lovely cottage, perfect position

Lovely, spacious, cosy & well equipped cotage. Perfectly situated for a stroll down into Mousehole & ideal place from which to explore beautiful West Penwith. Lovely host too who responded immediately to our queries and made us feel very welcome.
