Invitados de buen perro! Las vacaciones no se quedan en su alojamiento típico "para perros". Estos no son de segunda categoría, están en habitaciones de hotel o en campamentos abarrotados. Nuestros huéspedes se hospedan en los pintorescos y encantadores chalets que ponen a Big Valley Resort en el mapa. Weekend Getaway to ski

It is a nice quick stay not far from Blue Mountain Ski Resort. The house was clean and a great place to rest after a day on the slopes. It snowed overnight and we were plowed out the next morning.

Best for dog lovers!

This was the most accommodating place for dog lovers! They thought of everything. The house was very clean and comfortable. Communication was great as well!

Overall, this was a really nice place and very conveniently located near everything we wanted to do. The space itself was clean, cozy, and had a great mountain vibe. The only downsides were related to comfort. The water had a very strong odor, almost like sewage, which made showering and feeling fully clean pretty difficult during our stay. Witch means we couldn’t use the jacuzzi. Also, for a place in the mountains, we expected a more efficient heat source. It was extremely cold at night and a bit uncomfortable. We did our best to make it work and even used the fireplace, which was a nice touch, but a consistent general heat source would have made a big difference. Despite these issues, we still made the most of our stay and enjoyed the location and overall atmosphere. With improvements to the water and heating, this place could be a great experience.

I had an excellent experience at this property! The booking process was simple and seamless, and everything matched the description perfectly. The price was very fair for what was offered, and the stay was 100% perfect. From the cleanliness to the amenities, everything exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely return in the future. Great Landing Pad

If you're hanging in the area and don't really need a home base for anything besides showering and sleeping, this spot was great. I can't speak to anything beyond that as that's all we did. Clean and comfortable, management was responsive and helpful. Plenty of parking, even the people staying in the other half of the duplex were cool.

Pocanos ski weekend

Took the family up to the Pocanos for some skiing on President’s weekend. The property is about 25 min from Blue Mountain which was fine for us. It was very nice, better than the photos I would say. Clean and good condition. A fairly secluded cabin in the woods feel but a 10-15 min drive to restaurants, etc. We would stay here again. The only negative is that the water occasionally had a slight sulfur smell to it. I would bring bottled water next time.

Things could be better

First upon arrival a significant odor was noted which we later discovered was the sulfur(rotten eggs) smell which was quite noticeable anytime the water was turned on.( Secondly the house which is actually one side of a duplex/triplex became a problem when at 3:30 am the next door people came home drunk and disorder pounding on the door and yelling to be let in to their side of the house .

We are truly sorry this happenned to you. Leslie, we have never had this happen in 43 years of hosting over 15,000 families. The neighbors during your stay were evicted and banned from returning. They were two college kids returning from a concert and lost their key. There was nothing we could have possibly done to prevent this situation. We cannot control the guests' actions but we can control their ability to return. Our water system can be adjusted by maintenace anytime with a chlorinator to counteract the sulphur smell that comes from the well. In this area most water wells have sulphur. It is not harmful, it just has an odor. Our water is tested monthly and scores higher than public water supplies and most bottling companies. Again, we are very sorry and apologize for any inconvenience.

Not the best

We had very few options and so took this despite the lack of reviews. The pictures were very misleading. It looks like a big house, but it's divided. One unit is apparently half the house. This unit and another together make up the other half, so it was TINY. Yes, it slept 6, but that was on a pull-out sofa that took up virtually the entire living room. The table sat 8, but in order to make room to sit between the table and the wall we had to pull out the table so there was not much room between the table and pull-out sofa which, by the way, was very dirty when we opened it. The internet was very weak. He gave us a hot spot which mostly worked until it didn't and we left one night early somewhat disgusted with the response.

I’m not sure what this guest was expecting, but it is made very clear in the description of this property that the listing is for half of the 4,500 sq ft duplex.

Bamboozled

We were excited to take a trip for our son birthday, and loved the amenities included. Immediately upon check in we realized the entire house as stated was not the case, and the laundry room was shared and outside. We wanted to make the best of it as we travels to hours with littles ones. When we got in we immediately noticed the place was not kid friendly! We ran the bath tub upstairs and black water spit out each night! The gym, hot tub, indoor/outdoor pools all closed. The grill in the back Bo operable and broken down.bumble nest, and wasp nest on the back porch. I expressed my frustration with what was going on and I was told that due to the inconvenience I would be charged a pet fee. We have two service dogs, and combed the listing before booking to ensure we would not run into any issues when it came to our pets. I advised to the individual who responded that we in fact mark the fact we have dogs, and we were not sure why that would be the response. The highlighted mine ties and quality of the location are very much different from what is advertised. We packed up and cut our trip short. We cleaned up, mopped, swept and decided to head out early due to the discomfort! .

This was a communication problem. Guest asked no questions prior to booking and clearly did not fully read the listing. Obviously had misunderstood expectations. We have been hosting vacation rentals for 40 years and we know when WE have been Bamboozeled.

Property is well managed. Friendly office staff. Unit was very clean and well appointed. Our pup was very comfortable there. The mattresses were extremely comfortable! Well located in pocono mountains. Easy access to highways. Supermarket 6 miles away. We will def stay there again! Bring bottled water for you and your dog! Loved the walking trail and the hot tub!

Dog resort

Enjoy our stay there. Location was excellent to trails, restaurants, and plenty of space for our dog to run. The only downside was the smell of sulfur coming from the water, it was overwhelming when you used the water for at least 10 minutes. Think they need to install some kind of water treatment. This would be the Only item for me not to rebook this place

Perfect for our needs

We were in town with family for a funeral. Communication was terrific, very nice place for all of us to stay, plus our pooch. Only a few complaints: the water was black at first, and it cleared out after we let it run…but it never lost its sulfur smell, unfortunately, especially when using the hot. There was no hairdryer in the unit, but I had one within five minutes of asking. The kitchen is fairly well stocked, although a set of salt and pepper shakers would be terrific. We will consider staying here again if we return to the area.

Absolutely Perfect!

This property was absolutely what we were looking for. Comfortable, cozy, clean, and quiet. Loved the living room with fireplace, jacuzzi in the master bedroom, and easy access to convenience stores for items we forgot. Property owner and management team were so responsive to our needs and answered any and all communication. Some worries about this being a split unit, but I will say that we had “neighbors” during our stay and you wouldn’t even know we were both there. Thank you for a great stay!

Save your money

We went here for our first wedding anniversary with our 2 dogs and it was horrible. We left the very next day. None of the surfaces were wiped down. There was NO hot water. The sheets not only didn't fit the incredibly hard/uncomfortable bed, but they had stains on them. You share the porch and balcony with other guests - we were unaware this "private cabin" was actually a duplex.

Hopefully it is apparent from other 4 and 5 star reviews that this guest’s claims are completely false! The house is kept incredibly clean (we have implemented strict cleaning protocol due to COVID) and there has never been an issue with hot water. The bedding not only fits each mattress perfectly, but is professionally cleaned prior to each guest’s arrival. This guest had to leave early for other reasons and thought her fabricated complaints would get her a refund.

The listing doesn't do this place justice

The house was really cute! I couldn't tell from the photos what exactly I was getting into but was pleasantly surprised. I booked this very last minute (which was great!) My biggest mistake was not checking lift tickets availability. Both Camelback and Blue Mountain are about equal distance away so this was a cool location. The check in was easy and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Weekend getaway

This was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. It was clean. Communication between us and the property manager and clubhouse was great. It was close enough to blue mountain which is where we went snow tubing. Our dog loved it too.

Nice space in Sciota

The space is very nice and clean. The location in Sciota is in a scenic setting. The one problem is that many of the amenities did not work as they should: 1. The whirlpool bath never had enough hot water to fill more than 1/3rd of the tub. 2. The wifi is from the clubhouse and for the whole village. It was not enough to connect to. The owner dropped off a hotspot, but the location itself has negligible service. 3. The condo is cold on the first floor and hot on the second. It's a lovely space, but be aware of what might you might get,

Brief Family Vacation

We enjoyed our 3 day stay at the property. The place is very nice and well maintained. Our only issues were with the beds being too firm (hard) and the poor wifi service provided by the community.

We are located in the Poconos most desirable area, Monroe County. The surroundings are rural with immediate highway access making nearby towns easily accessible. Most stores and restaurants are 2 minutes to 15 minutes away. Skiing & Casino within 20 minutes. Season doesn't matter here because the Poconos is beautiful in all year long.
