Cosy cottage ideally located in the Quercy
Ideally located in this lovely part of the Quercy, this cosy cottage is the perfect base for visiting the many medieval towns, villages, castles and abbeys around. If wine - especially the Malbec - is your thing, the Quercy has countless viniards to sample from within a few minutes drive. Cahors is the closest larger town, with its fresh produce market. But the entire area is full of cultural and gastronomic heritage.
On the small side but perfectly equipped inside and out, the cottage has a well appointed kitchen corner, bathroom and a lovely terrace with loungers offering fantastic views on the surrounding countryside. The furnishing is modern, brand new and in perfect working order.
The owner - Henri - lives close by and is on hand for useful information on what to do in the area and the best way to make the most of your stay. He readily shares his best spots for a tasty lunch, bike rides and where to find the best breads. You won't find a more friendly and helpful guide for the region.
We had a great time staying here and, despite the unseasonally wet and cold weather, we were very comfortable in this cosy little cottage. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, simple accommodation.
