The absolute highlight of this property is that it doesn’t feel like just a rental—Renata made us feel completely at home. The house was absolutely spotless, and while we didn’t need the parking space, it was readily available for our use. If we ever have the chance to travel to Italy again, we would absolutely stay at Renata’s place encounters.

The location was excellent, 15 minute walk to the train, 30 min walk to the harbor, 200m to a grocery store and 200m to a great restaurant. There is a private parking spot just a short walk away. Renata was a very responsive host making reservations for us and suggesting better ideas for things to do in the area. She made the experience wonderful.

Renata was a fabulous host. She picked us up and returned us to the train station. She was very helpful and pleasant. Her place was so lovely. There were little touches that made it feel like home. The outside garden was so pretty and was the perfect place to enjoy a drink or a meal. The location is close to everything I would need and easy walking distance to city centre and the waterfront. The bedrooms were large and the kitchen was well equipped. I highly recommend this rental suite to anyone.

Renata could not have been a better host. She made dinner reservations for us on our first night, drove us to the boat docks to visit Cinque Terre on the second morning and picked up a pizza for us on the second night. What a nice person!Her home was clean and exactly what we saw online. It is in a family neighborhood, not a tourist area. There was a 15 minute walk to and from the train station and we walked it once and took a cab the other time. The cab was 18 euros. If we ever return to La Spezia we would not hesitate to stay at Renata's property again.John

The host is so wonderful and made us feel like family! We got gifts of home-made pesto and marmalade upon our arrival. We were given great tips on where to go and what to do. The penny supermarket is a 5-minute walk away and bus stops are even closer. Train station is 15 minutes walk at most.

Fantastic home & host. We booked based on the price & reviews. Renata treated us like family & drove us to the train upon departure. We were First time visitors to Italy & she helped us so much. The neighborhood felt safe & is a very walkable community. There is Bus service from the train station to the home & anywhere else in the city. If you are considering the region this home is a great choice.

First of all, the host Renata is wonderful. She treated us like family and was quick to answer any questions we had. The property is a short walk about 10-15 min. from the central train station or a block from the No 3 bus stop. It is also close to a local grocery store and a couple of good restaurants. Renata helped us navigate the city, making us a reservation at her favorite place, and driving us to and from the train station.

Great location - this property was near to the train station and shops for all that we needed. Amazing host- Renata went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable . The beds were really comfortable and the garden was lovely to relax in. We would definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful apartment!

We loved our stay in this home. It was large and well equipped for our family. The host is wonderful and very helpful. This was a perfect spot for a home base while we explored La Spezia, Porto Venere and Cinque Terre.

Treated like family

Renetta went above and beyond as our host. .Nice outdoor patio to relax after a long day Plenty of room for 6 adults. If i ever get back to Italy I would definitely stay here again

Best and most memorable VRBO stay ever! Perfect location for visits to both La Spezia sights and also Cinque Terre. Renata, the host, was just wonderful. When we arrived, she welcomed us with cafe Italiano, while she answered our questions and gave tips on where to shop, eat, and visit. She brought us homemade marmalade and also pesto (the best we’ve ever had)! She is a genuinely kind and thoughtful person. For example, I had left clothes outside drying, and she moved them into the car port for me when rain was predicted. The WiFi was excellent, the beds comfy, we appreciated being able to wash clothes, and everything was great. Renata had seen our heavy luggage, and she actually drove the luggage to the train station for us, to make it easier for us. Her warmth and caring gave us a true taste of Ligurian hospitality.

Renata is a lovely host and helped us with places to eat, towns to visit and parking the car. We found the beds to be quite uncomfortable however and the kitchen amenities were lacking. Renata provided several drinks in the fridge for us and we were grateful for the washing machine and drying racks.

We loved the outside space. It really felt like a cozy place to hang out. The host was really nice and helped us/gave us a lot of tips for activities.She was prepared to help with anything. Would definitely recommend!!

We really enjoyed staying at Rensta’s.. Her location is within a residential neighborhood that is a short walk to restaurants, a grocey store, and a specialty food store. It is close to the train station to take you to the Cinque Terre. The kitchen had all we needed to fix our breakfasts. The bathrooms were modern, and Renata was super friendly and helpful when needed. We would stay there again.

Renata was a great host, leaving us pastries the morning after we checked in and suggesting things to do on a few rainy days. A great spot for a base for exploring Cinque Terre.

Great, convenient place!

A beautiful home conveniently located near La spezia centrale by walking and bus. Renata, our host, was very helpful and responsive. She made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The place is spacious and was clean.
