Great location. Very spacious

The apartment is a twenty minute walk from the city center, so great for visiting Bordeaux. The three rooms are very large and comfortable. We had some problems with the toilet on the upper floor, which was temporarily buffered (a total adjustment would have required a few hours of work). The neighborhood is very quiet. If you are travelling by car, consider that in the evening it can be difficult to find parking in the area. Ideal for large families.

Entsprach nicht den Erwartungen

Bei unserer Ankunft war die Wohnung nicht gereinigt. Es roch stark nach Zigarette und war muffig, ein Gestank (vermutlich vom Abfluss) ,der besonders in einem Zimmer permanent vorherrschte. Am Abend wurden uns Handtücher hingelegt, eines pro Person, alle feucht. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns gesagt, dass ein Handtuch pro Person "normal" sei, man versprach uns aber neue und mehr Handtücher. Am Abend des nächsten Tages , nach erneuter Nachfrage erhielten wir diese auch . Handtücher und Bettlaken( die für die Betten übrigens zu klein waren) rochen schlecht, als ob sie schon benutzt wurden. Für eine Person war kein Kopfkissen vorhanden, welches wir auch nicht bekamen, nachdem wir danach gefragt hatten. Die Wohnung machte einen schmuddeligen, nicht sehr sauberen Eindruck ( Spinnenweben auf den Treppenstufen, Schränke innen schmutzig). Die Küche war einigermaßen gut ausgestattet, machte aber angesichts der hygienischen Verhältnisse nicht Lust darauf, sich darin mehr als nötig zu betätigen.

Not what we expected

The flat was not ready, not cleaned when we arrived at 3 pm. It smelled of cigarettes and mouldy. We left the flat for several hours to let the charwoman do her work . When we returned and wanted to take a shower the towels were damp and we couldn' use them. Besides there was only one towel for each of us and no towel for hands. Towels arrived the evening of the next day after several phone calls. What we didn't get: enough pillows (one of us had none for the whole week) even after asking on the phone. Another problem were the off odours especially in one room. A great many of drain pipe cleaner didn't resolve our problem. All in all the hygienic condition of the flat was suboptimal : the inside of some cupboards wasn't cleaned for a long time, a spider's web on the stairs of the staircase...what a pity! This flat could be a nice flat if somebody would take care!

Surrealista: no pudimos entrar en el apartamento la primera noche.

Hemos viajado cuatro amigos. Nos recibió un empleado de la agencia BNBLORD, nos entregó un juego de llaves y tomó nota de que el lavavajillas no funcionaba y expulsaba agua. Se comprometieron a arreglarlo al día siguiente pero solo lo desenchufaron, con lo cual, no lo pudimos utilizar y estuvo toda la semana expulsando agua. Pero lo peor vendría la primera noche. Al intentar acceder al portal de la casa, a las 12 de la noche, no pudimos, había otra cerradura de la que no nos dieron llave. Llamamos a los teléfonos de la agencia y no nos atendió nadie. El empleado que nos dio las llaves nos puso en contacto con Fany, otra empleada, que se tomó bastante interés pero tenía poca capacidad de decisión. Su jefa no atendía el teléfono. Ante la imposibilidad de acceder a la vivienda, intentamos alojarnos en algún hotel, sin suerte. A las 3 de la madrugada Fany nos consiguió un piso que acababan de dejar otros inquilinos (sábanas usadas, solo una toalla, piso sin limpiar...), donde pudimos pasar lo poco que quedaba de noche. A primera hora de la mañana nuestra puerta seguía sin poder abrirse. Entramos gracias a un vecino. Llegó Pauline, otra empleada de la agencia, y la única solución que dio fue pedirle al vecino que no cerrara la puerta por la noche porque la agencia NO TENÍA LLAVE. !!!! Increíble que se alquile un apartamento y no se comprueben las cerraduras que tiene!!!! Exigimos la devolución del importe de esa noche y sí, nos devolvieron el dinero del alquiler, pero sin la parte proporcional de servicios y comisiones. Y aún estamos esperando alguna nota de disculpa por parte de la agencia. El daño moral, los nervios y el cansancio por pasar tu primera noche de vacaciones de esa forma, parece que no cuentan. Fany fue la única que se tomó interés y nos ayudó. En cuanto al apartamento, es amplio, luminoso, muy silencioso y confortable, a excepción de las escaleras que llevan a los dormitorios, que son muy estrechas y hay que tener cuidado. La zona es muy tranquila y está muy cerca de la zona turística. La cocina está bien equipada pero le hace falta una buena limpieza en los armarios. Cosa que nos costó hacer porque no había lavavajillas, estropajo, bayetas...etc. En fin, un inicio de vacaciones difícil de olvidar. Eso sí, Burdeos, muy bonito.
