Great facility

We had a great stay but there were a few issues we had. 1. There was only a queen size fitted sheet for the king size sleeper sofa. 2. My husband was unable to get the T.V to work. 3. I feel that some of the glassware should be replaced with plastic drinking cups, etc. We went out and bought disposable cups, There is so much glass in the condo and with the ceramic tile floors, I was greatly concerned with the potential of broken glass on the floor. One of the glass cups was cracked as I removed it from the dishwasher. Another set of utensils would be great also. With only six knives, forks and spoons was very inconvenient. A second pot holder would be helpful..Most hot dishes require two pot holders to get them out of the oven. A few trivets would be helpful also. I did not want to put oven hot items on the glass top table. 4.The dishwasher did not wash the dishes well. We needed to hand wash many things after they came out of the dishwasher. This may be due to the dishwasher detergent that was used. But I do not know . 5. The left door on the closet where the glass cups, mugs are kept does not stay closed. Get some sticky Velcro and put it on the inside of the door and on the frame. It would be an easy fix! We did truly enjoy our stay. It is a very nice facility,these are just some things I noticed that could be an improvement. The beach and pools were a huge hit. Thank you!

Beautiful Views!

This condo’s sprawling outdoor porch on the 14th floor offers incredible views with their outdoor living spaces. By far it was the winning feature of the condo. Pros: - Tons of space! Plenty of room to hangout both outside and spend time inside. - Likes having the bar by the pool. Didn’t use it much but it was piece of mind that we had Fri Ms and food right there - The bonus amenities we’re a hit with my kids. We loved having the option to play all the games and sports. Cons: - the dishwasher doesn’t clean. We tried running it on three occasions and had to just wash dishes by hand. I did report the need for repair to the company. - this is a huge condominium and only two elevators are working so there were long waits to get up and down. - beach space is very limited unless you’re willing to pay. A company has chairs and umbrellas across the entire beach front and there’s no room if you don’t pay for them. - I left behind all my beach towels and the management claimedc nothing was left to be found in the room. Caution to others not to forget anything.

10 days on the beach!

Very nice condo in great location. Needs several updates including rugs in LR and bedrooms. Extra large patio overlooking the beach in need of maintenance and furniture replacement. Kitchen lacked enough glass and silver ware. (There were only 2 of us in the unit) The property manager was very responsive.

Anniversary Trip

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our fourth time staying at Tides Unit 1410. Unfortunately this past stay didn’t live up to the same standards as our previous three. The unit obviously sustained water damage as the ceilings showed water stains, incomplete dry wall repairs and painting. There was a couch missing which left exposed cables and broken outlet covers . The cosmetic work should have been completed by the owner prior to renting it out. Hopefully the owner will take the time to remedy this as it is a beautiful condo. Gibson Beach Rentals was very understanding and a pleasure to work with. We will continue to book our vacations through Gibson as they offer great service and amenities with your stay.

Great location

Very nice unit. Very clean. Only thing I wish they had mentioned was one of the sleeper sofas was broken. Had to have maintenance come and help close it but they said they knew it was bent. Not a big deal just want future renters to know. But the location is great. Away from the big crowds and having a “private” beach is awesome. The chairs on the beach are for rent only and the young men running the chair rental are rude and if you put your stuff near the chairs they run up and like to yell at you. But besides that one issue this is a place we will look to stay at in the future.

The condo looked ready nice. I wished it had a better bed and sheets and pillows. The rugs need to be replaced. The living room and bedroom left fibers all over our clothes and the bathroom rugs were dirty. The outdoor furniture looked dirty and moldy. The pool was cold. I would stay here again. Maybe in a different condo.

Visited Tops’l Tides many times but I don’t recommend this unit

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Tops’l Tides and visit often. This unit has a beautiful view and we loved the size of the patio. However, the general condition was very poor. A significant portion of the furniture was broken. Most dresser and side table drawers were unusable. One of the loungers on the patio was broken. The coffee maker was missing pieces (we purchased and donated one to the unit). The ceiling fan in the Master had two speeds - rattle and off. The garbage disposal smelled like something died in it. We overlooked most of these things and managed to enjoy our week because we had great weather and it’s a beautiful location but we were very disappointed with the unit itself

Nice room. Clean. Everything worked. Amenity issues.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good experience, except that there was no hot tub on location. A hot tub was important to us. There was an image in the posting and it was listed as an amenity. Also, there was a lack of beach chairs at the pool.

Great location, not the most comfortable unit

Property was very nice, great location and beautiful beach. This unit was reasonably clean and well stocked. The beds are not comfortable, very firm mattresses and no pads or toppers on them. Every room has worn jute rugs that shed and get shards of jute all over everything and make everything itchy. They also slide around under your feet when you walk on them. Curtain rods and toilet paper holders are falling off the wall. The deck is wonderful, but pillows on loungers are stained and kindof gross. Property manager is friendly and responsive. Property is advertised as having a hot tub but there isn’t one at this building. Overall the stay was fine but would choose a different unit if I were to come back.

This is not the place, outdated, filthy!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were promised many things, like heated pool, fitness center, covered parking, we got none of it! This particular unit the pictures are deceiving, the furniture it old torn rickety, rugs were so old and made of jute, they shed all over. It was left in filthy condition with hair and food everywhere, all dishes and pots crusted with food. Disgusting, will never come back!

Defciencies

TV Remotes did not work well, system sucks Drawers in chests just flop when you pull them out-useless WIFI code given from Alexa and in email about facilities is incorrect. Transposed 1 number. Finally looked on botttom of modem!!!

Dream vacation

We were not sure if we should still go but we decided it would be good to get away. We are so glad we did. We had a great time and relaxed from all the stress at home.

Great location with an oversized balcony

This condo was a nice size for our family of four. The living room furniture was comfortable. The balcony have lots of seating for lounging or dining. Due to the angle of the balcony, the sun never came in directly to the condo. We enjoyed the activities that were available directly at the condo, especially the chair and umbrella service on the beach. There is a bar with food service at the pool level. I would recommend you bring your own pillows, bed linens, bath towels, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, and dishwasher detergent. If any of these items were provided, they were very cheap.

Gorgeous views!

The views of the gulf from the balcony were gorgeous! The condo was very clean and comfortable. The host was responsive to any requests we made. Had a great vacation!

Reviewer Comments: Generally pleasant and nice but:The dining room lighting did not work.When then master BR ceiling fan was on 'High', it would create this periodic 'rattle' that sounded like a couple of loose lanyards smacking the side of a flagpole (not great at 2am).Also, there was no butter dish to be found in the kitchen but, it has one now :)Still, overall I will continue to recommend GBR to anyone I know looking for a great beach vacation experience. Perfect unit - 1410

Condo 1410 was very clean for our stay. The condo is updated and well appointed for price point. Great view of ocean. Plenty of sitting in living for 6 people. 4 excellent views of TV, perfect for our family of 4 at night. Never waited too long for elevators. Wash and dryer are handy. Staff responded quickly to our text messages. Password was wrong on internet and they got us updated pw reasonably quick, considering is was a weekedn. We will be going back to this unit again. 5 stars. Highly recommend.
