Beautiful recently renovated dog friendly 3BR 2BA home on the top of Young's Mountain with full access to Rumbling Bald Resort. The golf course is open and ready to play! Enjoy unobstructed views of Bald Mountain and Lake Lure from the comfort of our deck. Updated kitchen, bathrooms and family room with gas log fireplace to enjoy all the comforts of home with friends and family. Master and additional bedroom on main level make access easy. Loft with full size futon and additional bedroom has twin over full bunk and twin pullout bench for additional sleeping. Luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout. This 3 level home is the perfect place to make memories!

Downstairs in the finished basement enjoy a game of foosball or a snooze on the queen size pull out couch. When it gets too hot on the top deck, just go downstairs to the lower level covered patio turn on the fans and enjoy the sunset. You can even sit out there in the rain because our under decking system will keep you dry. High speed 300Mbs WIFI internet works rain or shine and whole home generator to keep you comfy and your drinks cold should the electric go out during your stay.

Outdoor flagstone patio has lots of room to enjoy with friends and a small fire bin with provided firewood to enjoy s'mores or a toasty fire while looking down from high above beautiful Lake Lure. Permanent gas line supplied grill is available on the covered side deck to make it easy to cook even in the rain and don’t forget about Young’s Mountain Trail a 4.3 mile moderate pet friendly hike just a few minutes away from this home. **reservations required for this hike** www.conservingcarolina.org. In addition, Buffalo Creek Park with pet friendly trails is less that 2 miles away.

This house has something for everyone including full access to all of the Rumbling Bald resort amenities which includes lake and beach access as well as the pool and many other fun child friendly amenities. Your stress free vacation begins on the scenic ride up the mountain on the winding paved roads. Suitable parking for 3-4 cars or 3 SUV’s

There is a small camera which faces the exterior parking lot and garbage cans. This is for safety and monitoring the wildlife only. This is the only camera on the property.to

Excellent family getaway

We had the best time gathering for a small family reunion. We rented several cabins and Renee was, by far, the most extraordinary host. We had everything we needed for meals and for relaxation. We would definitely stay here again!

Family Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful time over Thanksgiving with our extended family hiking the Young’s Mountain Trail, playing games, and visiting Chimney Rock . Beautiful area, and the home had everything we needed. Ingles grocery store provided everything we needed for a tasty Thanksgiving meal-to-go.

Loved it - Again!

This was our second stay at this beautiful home. Everything was perfect - well equipped kitchen, comfortable living spaces, and great location. The neighborhood bear did visit some nearby garbage cans during our stay, so that was exciting! Thanks Renee for sharing your home!

Lovely Serene Getaway!

My family and I had an absolutely wonderful time up on Youngs Mountain! The home is situated on a quiet dead end with ample outdoor living space. We loved how it was just a short drive to the amenities offered in Rumbling Bald Resort. Renae's communication was wonderful - always quick to repond, friendly, and helpful! When we return to Lake Lure, we'll stay here again!

Great family trip to Lake Lure

Our family really enjoyed our stay! The house had everything we needed and is situated in a beautiful quiet neighborhood on top of the mountain. It is a short 6min drive down to Rumbling Bald Resort. We enjoyed spending time on the resort and especially loved watching the July 4th fireworks on the beach! Renee was easy to communicate with and even checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful home with great views

This home was comfortable and spacious for our party of 6. Kitchen was awesome with everything you need. Views from back deck were beautiful and this is where we spent our evenings. Resort had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. Chimney Rock is only 30min away. Definitely check out the flowering bridge and eat at Riverwatch Cafe.

Beautiful View

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this spacious home with our family - from grandparents to teens! The views were spectacular and worth the drive up the mountain. At Rumbling Bald we spent time at the lake and golf course and enjoyed take out at Legends. Around an hour from Asheville (drive time), we were close enough to enjoy tubing, shopping and breweries The home had everything we needed to prepare meals at home, which we enjoyed in the deck. Great stay overall!

Comfortable and well appointed

The cabin was beautitiful and beautifully decorated in a very elegant yet relaxing vibe. The kitchen is well stocked and the cabin has many different gathering areas for relaxing. The bedrooms are large and our family of 9 did not not feel crowded at all. The view is amazing and worth the drive up the mountain. The drive is winding but well paved. We enjoyed the adventure and being able to enjoy lake lure in a beautiful setting!

Great Stay

This place is lovely! What a view! The back deck looks out on the mountains and Lake Lure in the valley. The house is cozy and has everything you need for a getaway stay. There's a great little park with hike and bike trails just a few miles away. And some amazing hikes if you're up for longer drives. And the passes to the Rumbling Bald Resort allow you to go for a swim, play pickle ball, tennis and basketball. And for a small extra fee, there miniature golf. Highly recommend it!

Perfect Getaway

This home was as advertised. Perfect proximity to resort amenities. Home was clean and prepared for our arrival. This was the first vacation rental we have used that had all the kitchen items we're used to at home. Kids enjoyed the basement play area. A tree fell on the deck right before our arrival and Renee went above and beyond to make sure it didn't impact our stay. She communicated quickly and consistently to handle the issue with no impact to our trip. Don't miss the rock painted like a fish half way up the road to the house!

Wonderful Stay

My friends and I (10 total) stayed at the Ribera’s property in Lake Lure over New Years and we had a wonderful time. The house was clean and had all the amenities one could ask for! There was ample sleeping space for everyone with room to spare. We enjoyed relaxing on the big porch and even had a fire with s’mores. We tried the restaurant at Rumbling Bald — surprisingly great menu and drinks. The views from the house are an added bonus! The grocery store is within 15-20 minutes down the mountain and Asheville approximately 45 minutes away. The mountain is steep getting up to the house so you will need 4WD if coming up in snowy or icy conditions. Additionally, arriving in the daylight hours as suggested is very helpful in learning the roads up to the house. We look forward to another visit in the future!

Family weekend in the mountains

My family and I really enjoyed our weekend at this property. The host was very responsive to any questions prior to our arrival and during our stay. The property was just as it appeared in the photos, beautifully decorated , comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped with all the comforts of home. We especially enjoyed the gas firepit on the side deck while watching the sunset views. Unfortunately we did not have enough time to take advantage of the Rumbling Bald Resort amenities. We will definitely keep this property on our return list!
