    Wir (Familie mit drei Kindern im Alter von 5, 14 und 17 Jahren) haben zwei wunderbare Wochen in dieser Ferienwohnung verbracht. Die Lage ist einzigartig – mitten in der Altstadt, mit Bäcker, Restaurants, Bars und Geschäften direkt vor der Tür. Auch die Strände sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.Die Gastgeberfamilie ist außergewöhnlich herzlich. Emmanuel hat uns jederzeit freundlich betreut und sogar auf eine Bootstour mitgenommen – ein unvergessliches Erlebnis! Auch seine Frau Agnes und die Kinder haben uns warmherzig empfangen und sogar Spiele für unsere Kleine vorbeigebracht.Die Wohnung entspricht den Fotos: hell, freundlich, gepflegt, sauber und im klassischen Stil eingerichtet. Die Küche ist vollständig ausgestattet. Kleinere Probleme wurden sofort behoben. Sehr praktisch ist der Flaschenzug im Treppenhaus, mit dem man Gepäck leicht in die obere Etage ziehen kann.Das WLAN funktionierte nach zwei anfänglichen, haushaltsfremden Störungstagen ausgezeichnet.Die Parksituation ist schwierig, wie überall in der Altstadt. Empfehlenswert sind kostenlose Parkplätze außerhalb oder der Park-&-Ride-Parkplatz Paul Féval, von dem alle 10 Minuten Busse in die Stadt fahren.Ein kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag wäre, den Abfluss im großen Bad zu optimieren. Insgesamt war aber alles perfekt – wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

    Great location but apartment could do with a refresh

    We booked this apartment last minute because our intended accommodation fell through. The location is the best part about this place - in St. Malo's old town (Intra Muros) so great access to shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. The apartment itself, while spacious for a family, is a bit outdated - decor from the 70s/80s, everything is a bit old, sheets are a bit musty, high chair is ripped, the water pressure in the shower is a bit weak. It's like staying in a granny's flat. It's fine for a night or two but I wouldn't stay here for longer or if you are looking for something slightly upmarket. For the price, we expected something nicer. Photos made this place look nicer than it actually was. Also there is no parking so you'd have to drive outside the old city to park, which was a bit of a hassle, though the host did help us look for parking options. Apartment is on 3rd floor with no lift. Host was responsive and helpful.

    Au cœur de Saint-Malo

    Un accueil très chaleureux et des explications claires pour se repérer dans la ville. L’appartement est spacieux, nous étions deux adultes avec 3 enfants et nous avions chacun notre espace. La plage est très proche ainsi que les commerces. Tout se fait à pied. Il y a des jeux de plages pour les enfants c’est un appartement de famille bien pensé et pratique.

    Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille au coeur de St-Malo. L’accueil a été des plus chaleureux, dans un appartement vaste et très bien équipé.     Very special

    This apartment in the walled, Intra-Muros, part of Saint Malo was perfect for us. It is spacious and light with windows that face out onto three different directions. It has a microwave and good Wi-Fi. The location is amazing. It is a close walk to the ramparts, the ocean, beaches, the port, various shops, restaurants and cafés, the cathedral, 2 grocery stores (a Carrefour City and a Petit Casino), and even to the bus, which we could easily take to the train station. (In the several weeks that we stayed there, we never needed a car.) And Emmanuel is a great host. He met us when we arrived in this area, made us feel welcome, showed us all that we needed to know, and it was easy to communicate with him. We are very grateful that we got to stay there!

    Excellent séjour familial à Saint-Malo

    Prendre en vacances quatre jeunes enfants nécessitait un appartement spacieux, calme et bien équipé. Tout cela, nous l'avons trouvé pour passer une semaine très très agréable. Les deux chambres permettaient de canaliser les enfants le soir et le convertible du salon offrait un couchage tout à fait correct pour deux adultes. L'emplacement de ce logement offrait également "un plus" bienvenu pour visiter Saint-Malo intra muros (mini zoo, maison du corsaire, sans parler de tous les lieux dédiés à Chateaubriand ...). Nous recommandons vraiment sans réserve cet appartement pour qui voudra goûter l'air marin en alliant gastronomie et culture ! A noter également l'accueil parfait qui nous a été réservé à la fois par la personne présente le jour de notre arrivée,Genièvre, et le souci constant des propriétaires de veiller à notre confort. Un grand merci pour tout cela !!!! Christine et Jacques.

    Appartement très bien situé, très calme, bien équipé et grand espace. Idéal pour 6 personnes

    Emmanuel et sa femme sont très accueillants et ont pris le temps de nous expliquer le fonctionnement de leur appartement. Emmanuel nous a gentiment aider à monter nos bagages puisqu’il n’y a pas d’ascenseur, il a mis en place un monte charge « homemade » très efficace. Leur logement était idéalement adapté pour nos 2 familles. Merci

    Fantastic stay!

    Emmanuel was great at communicating and the flat was clean, spacious and in the perfect location. We had everything we needed there and room to spare! We had a wonderful time and this will definitely book again for the Route de Rhum in 2026!

    Séjour Saint-Malo - Décembre 2021

    Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Saint-Malo pour ces vacances de décembre ! L'accueil était chaleureux, très bien organisé et très facile à gérer. Nous nous sommes tout de suite sentis à l'aise dans cet appartement. Il contenait tout le nécessaire pour notre famille et nos amis. Nous n'avons manqué de rien. L'endroit est situé idéalement au coeur de la cité malouine et il nous a permis de découvrir pour la première fois tous les charmes de la ville : crêperies, remparts, balade sur la plage, aquarium... La communication avec les propriétaires s'est également extrêmement bien passée, toujours à notre écoute et flexible à nos demandes. Nous garderons tous un excellent souvenir de notre séjour, en espérant une autre occasion bientôt !

    Grand appartement bien équipé, très bien situé et hôte très agréable

    Nous avons séjourné en famille avec nos deux filles de moins de trois ans. L'hôte est très disponible, très arrangeant (présent pour l'accueil et nous aide à monter les bagage, visite complète de l'appartement en sa présence, présentation des équipements) et très agréable. L'appartement est conforme aux photos, grand et bien équipé. Extrêmement bien situé quand on aime être au coeur de ville. Rien à redire, séjour charmant, je recommande les yeux fermés !

    Appartement agréable

    Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet appartement bien situé dans le centre de Saint-Malo. Ce séjour était certes de courte durée mais nous envisageons de le renouveler quand l'occasion se présentera. Nous avons rencontré l'hôte en fin de séjour ce qui nous a permis de dialoguer avec une personne fort sympathique et qui, de plus, connait parfaitement la ville.

    formidable séjour

    Nous avons été enchantés par notre séjour. L'appartement est on ne peut mieux situer, il est très confortable, et l'accueil a été particulièrement sympathique et efficace (du guidage efficace pour arriver à bon port jusqu'à l'aide pour monter nos bagages jusqu'à l'appartement grâce à un ingénieux système de poulie). Superbe.

    Lovely space in fantastic location

    This apartment was huge and so close to everything. Saint-Malo was completely charming and this space offered easy access to everything.

    We were there first ever tenants and they did a great job very attentive and good central location

    We were greeted by charming owner Emmanuel who led us to parking outside the city walls and helped carry our baggage (on his bicycle cart!) to the apartment in the center of town . We did have to park about a half a kilometer away from the apartment because it’s not allowed in the intramuros (walled city.) It was very inexpensive to park (parking closer to town is pretty pricey.) Emmanuel also had a rope lift rigged up to lift our luggage the three flights to the apartment ( there is no elevator ). The apartment is very charming with seagulls landing on our windowsill, a nice kitchen, dining room, three large sleeping areas and was very well-equipped considering it was their first time renting. It is a very touristy area especially on weekends. The only issue with the apartment was there was not a super comfortable room for all of us to just hang out in -no really comfy chairs but there is a nice large dining room table area with futon nearby that is the main place to socialize. The third bedroom is also a TV room kind of in a central location so if no one slept there you could use that to socialize (but my son was sleeping there and chairs not comfy) .Also there is no microwave but that may be a standard European thing I am not sure. If you want to stay in Saint Malo and launch trips to all the wonderful nearby sites this is a great place to stay !! Emmanuel was very attentive and made himself available whenever we needed (and even brought us laundry soap one day !!)
