Overview

About the property

House, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 2-6)

Located on a hilltop overlooking Santa Fe, New Mexico.

This unique home was designed by Charles F. Johnson, one of the Top 100 Architects in the world (according to Architectural Digest). This home is a 3,400 sq.ft. living sculpture. Based on a circlular design this double adobe home offers a rare mix of sophistication, sensuality and organic livability. What do we mean by livability? A cozy 'Kiva' style theater room with state of the art Theater-Entertainment center, a main fireplace with towering five foot flames in an arched sculpture with breathtaking elegance, and each room has unique wooden ceiling treatments from weathered aspen to Indian style pine lattias, amazing views of both mountains and city lights from inside and outside on the grand terrace, an outdoor spa/hot tub in a private natural setting with the same amazing views, dramatic indoor lighting, plus much, much more. . . . Oh yeah, and an elevator to the lower garage floor making the home very accessible to all ages (and just plain fun).

All this tucked into a very private hillside community just 1 mile north of one of the worlds most popular tourist destinations, Santa Fe's Historic Plaza district, famous for it's beauty, shopping, restaurants, art galleries and historic old world charm.

The Neighborhood

Beautiful hillside neighborhood, close to everything, yet very intimate. A long private drive-way and top-of-the-hill location make you feel far away from city life while just minutes away from the action. Pinon, Aspen, and Juniper trees all around the property, creating a private an oasis in the high-desert mountains.

This home is a "work of art"

  • 5 of 5

This home is really something to see in person...pictures are great, but being there was better! Very good location from town. Beautiful nighttime views. Beautiful sunsets & sunrises as well.

All the comforts of home in Santa Fe...

Feels Like Home

  • 5 of 5

I just returned from my second stay at this property and it was as comfortable and inviting as I remembered. This home has a natural feel to it, from the flow of movement through the house to the calming neutral colors of the decor and the wide open views from ample windows and doors. The views are amazing, from sunrise to sunset, and the expansive patio is a great place to soak up some sun or enjoy a glass of wine. The beds were comfortable and the towels were fluffy, but travelers should bring their own soaps, shampoo and lotions as these were not available. We found the kitchen to be well-supplied with dishes and cookware and laundry facilities were also available. Just a mile or so from downtown, we found this home to be a perfect location for easy access to sights and activities, but isolated enough to enjoy the quiet and gaze at the stars.

Heaven in the Santa Fe hills

  • 5 of 5

From entering the front door of this beautiful home, to the back lanai overlooking the city of Santa Fe, we knew we were in for a fantastic vacation. Beautifully decorated with art work by the owner, comfortable beds and linens, clean, and everything you need in the kitchen...and Isabella and Richard are the best!!! We highly recommend this beautiful home!

Better than the pictures

  • 5 of 5

This property was fantastic; it's even better than the photos. Generously appointed and thoughtfully laid out, with a very responsive caretaker. The house is its own destination. The furnishings are so lovely that guests are likely to feel most comfortable if they're confident all members of their party know how to behave around many breakable, high-end items and rooms of white carpet.

Wonderful Santa Fe Jewel

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I rented this place for some time around our wedding and we weren't disappointed. We had some family in town and they marveled at the place as well. The design of the house tends to hold people in and the porch is extremely enjoyable. The dining room (in the middle of the pictures) has some sort of feature whereby one can hear other people at the table very well via a small echo. All in all, an extremely comfortable and interesting stay. Highly Recommended!

Santa Fe Trip

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I were very pleased with the home we stayed in while in Santa Fe. It is beautiful, clean and comfortable. There's lots of room to relax and the outside deck has awesome views of the city and surroundings. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of amenities, which was nice as we do like to cook rather than eat out every day. The home is very close to downtown Santa Fe too. Isabella was very gracious and readily available to assist or answer questions if needed. We highly recommend staying here! You'll love it.

Owner's Response: Donna and Malcolm were very gracious guests. I already felt they were friends when they arrived as we had exchanged information.back and forth. They left the property in perfect condition and also some suggestions which I think is really important. We are always willing to change and improve and our guests tell us how to do that. Hope they will come back Isabella
