Relaxing rooftop retreat in beautiful Civano neighborhood with tennis, pools, parks and bike trails. 462 sq ft casita with private 240 sq ft patio to enjoy morning coffee and mountain views. Located above a detached garage with own entrance and parking space. 1b/1b also includes a kitchenette and living room with sleeper sofa. Near golf, Tucson's famous 120 mile bicycle loop, shopping, Saguaro Nat'l Park, Colossal Cave & Sabino Canyon.

There is a full size refrigerator, single burner induction cook top, Keurig coffee machine, counter top convection oven and microwave for your convenience. The kitchen is stocked with dinnerware, basic utensils and coffee necessities. The casita is equipped with Wi-Fi. You will need a pool key to access the tennis courts, pools, and fenced in play area for tots. Pool key is available upon request. There is a keyless entry into the casita for convenience. There are fruit trees on the property which produce delicious fruit when in season (pomegranates, lemons, limes and oranges).

We are excited to host your stay. We love special occasions so please let us know if there's anything we can do to make your visit extra special for a loved one (birthday, engagement, anniversary, etc.) Have you thought about hiring a photographer while you're in town for new family photos, updated business headshots or portraits? Casita Comfort

Great hosts. Great property. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a central location to Tucson and Vail. We will rent again when we come back to Tucson to visit family.

Casita in Civano

We stay here at least once a year! Our son lives nearby and we love the privacy here. Scott and Kalei keep their property clean and welcoming. We always have everything we need. The neighborhood is close to Saguaro East, stores and restaurants. We enjoy walks to Civano Nursery and throughout the planned Civano area. This is a great place for a couple to stay for a Tucson visit!

Active Sun Break

What a great spot for enjoying all that Tucson and the beautiful landscape around it have to offer! After days spent biking and hiking, it was wonderful to return to the casita for a quick dip in the neighborhood pool and then enjoy the quiet patio for the evening. Kalei was so welcoming and had great recommendations for fun things to do (thanks, Kalei, for suggesting the film festival!). The casita was spotless and had all of the amenities needed to have a comfortable stay. The view of the mountains is lovely and there are several peaceful areas for enjoying the warm mornings and evenings. We highly recommend the casita, both because it is such a lovely place and because it is hosted by wonderful people.

Darling Civano casita above garage.

This was our fourth or fifth stay at this cute casita. Scott and Kalei keep it neat and clean. They are always welcoming and accommodating! It is perfect for the two of us.

Casita Extraordinaire

Our casita stay was the absolute best as were the hosts, Scott and Kalea! We could not have found a more desirable and beautiful place to spend our vacation. The mountain views and the proximity to a wealth of restaurants and natural desert attractions was a complete delight. We even got treated to a desert thunderstorm! We agreed that when we return to Tucson again, we will assuredly be coming back to our newly "adopted" casita and a side of Tucson that we had not known about until this May vacation.

Great getaway

The view from the deck was amazing.It was a very walkable neighborhood with the NP East entrance nearby. The bed was very comfortable- the decor as well.This was a very well thought out casita with great amenities nearby. I would definitely recommend this to friends visiting Tucson. We had a great time!

Wonderful Casita

Very cozy, comfortable accommodations

We were traveling to Tucson for a wedding that was at Saguaro Buttes nearby. The casita was up a flight of stairs where we found a nice sitting area. View to surrounding homes were lovely. Casita has plenty of space for us with queen bed, private bath, living room and kitchen. Full fridge and stove (we didn’t use) All amenities we wanted were there—soft linens and towels, Keurig coffee maker, etc. Quiet neighborhood, close parking spot.

Lovely weekend

My daughter & I found this property to be perfect for our long weekend together; the unit was spotlessly clean and well appointed; we loved the neighborhood and its walking paths, including the one the leads to a tiny, family-run bakery. It was quiet and relaxing; we enjoyed hearing the local owl and coyotes. Scott & Kalei were very responsive and helpful.

Great “casita” above garage!

This is our second stay this year at the cute one bedroom casita. Perfect place to stay when visiting family. Extremely clean, good A/C, perfect for two adults. Very close to Saguaro East. The owners are always on top of everything and willing to offer suggestions of things to do in Tucson. We will definitely be back!

Darling Casita above garage!

This property was spotless, had everything we needed and perfect for the two of us! Kalei greeted us, helped out with our luggage and gave us a quick tour of property. It was quiet and relaxing after long visits with our toddler grandson in Tucson. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Kalei and Scott for maintaining such a lovely property!

Awesome room

This was exactly what we needed. This property was able to house myself in the bedroom and the added benefit of a sofa bed for my son, which many places did not offer. The room was VERY neat and the sponsors went out of their way to ensure every possible amenity was available. It was also priced lower than other places offering less. I would highly recommend this to anyone. Just so you know though, there are stairs that need to be climbed to get to the room. Would definitely stay here again.

Te location was perfict for our visit to Vail, AZ. Kalie was very personabie and efficient but allowed us our privacy. Second-fioor patio provided great views of sunrise and sunset over the Rincons. All in all. a superb two weeks

Enjoyed our stay in Tucson. This studios apartment is near (10 minutes drive) to the East Saguaro National Park main entrance. Great hosts, and accommodations at a reasonable price.

We moved to Tucson 15 years ago from San Diego and love the relaxed and friendly vibe of the desert. Scott is a San Diego native and Kalei was born and raised in Hawaii. We love to meet new people from all over the world and are happy to answer questions or make recommendations. If we are out back having a bonfire, you are welcome to join us. Of course, we respect your privacy if you prefer to keep to yourself. Scott loves to golf and watch all sports (he's an encyclopedia of stats) and Kalei is a professional photographer in addition to her "day job" as a speech-language pathologist. We hope you enjoy your stay!
