Closest to the Beach @ Lost Key + Game Room

Sit on the screen porch and enjoy the view of the Gulf while having a cold margarita. As soon as you enter the Townhouse you know you made the right choice and are going to have a great vacation. Sand Dollar Townhome is the closest unit to the beach at Lost Key. the unit is bright, sparkling clean with an open floor plan, 9' ceilings, three bedrooms, plus a bonus queen size murphy bed in the main living area, 2.5 baths and comfortably sleeps 8 people.

To make your stay even better, we are the only townhouse with a full game room in the garage to include a dry bar, ping pong, darts, corn hole boards, wall size checkers, tic-tac-toe, Large Jenga, board games, 65” TV and Pub Table and chairs. You will have a lot of fun in the game.

Lost Key Resort is a spectacular private vacation gem offering exclusive access to gorgeous pools, Arnold Palmer public Golf course, tennis, gyms, and best of all is the Private Beach Front Club located directly on the Gulf Shore.

The Beach Club offers an ocean front pool, full bar, food, entertainment, showers and private entrance to miles of Florida's beautiful white sandy beaches; you will not want to leave. Club is open 7 days a week. Restaurant and bar currently open Thursday - Sunday.

While most properties in Lost Key Resort are a mile or more away from the beach and you have to wait for the shuttle, our beautiful townhouse is across the street from the beach and less than 500 yards away. You can see the beach club and gulf from our deck.

The third floor has three bedrooms: Bedroom #1 and #2 have queen beds, Bedroom #3 has two twin beds.

The second floor has a queen size murphy bed with extra thick gel foam mattress in the living area.

The condo is absolutely beautiful! Looks like every room had a designer help with the decor! The owners left many pantry items that you always seem to forget to bring ! The location is great and the pool and deck area are so nice. It has plenty of room for family meals with its large table and bar area . We enjoyed it very much and would happily stay again ! The owners quickly answered questions I had before we arrived and check out was super easy!

Lovely Stay

My family very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and comfortable townhome. The walk to the beach and pool/fitness center is equivalent to about a two block walk- doable even with our littles thanks to th beach wagon. Very well stocked townhome. Convenient beach club amenities. Would definitely return.

Family vacation

Nice property! The games in the garage area were a great idea. The grandkids loved them! They also loved having the pool as an option. My husband and I prefer to stay on the beach, so that would be a factor in choosing/not choosing to stay here again.

Love this place!

My family and I have stayed at Scott and Lisa’s condo for 2 years in a row and will continue to make this our vacation spot! As a family of 7, we cook a lot of meals in house and you couldn’t ask for a better place to cook. There are plenty of items for cooking and room for our family to sit at the table. After a great day at the beach, the huge comfy sectional sofa provided a perfect place to crash. There are plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards, and sand toys that my family always takes advantage of. It’s a short walk to the private beach and the pool provides another great spot to cool down. We love this place and will be booking again next year! Thank you Scott and Lisa!

Property is very nice and clean. Enjoyed our stay. Did not realize there were 2 sets of steep stairs. Also did not realize the property was across the street from the beach. The baby gates were unusable since they did not fit snugly across the steps entrance. With a 10 month old crawling around everywhere, this was extremely important to us. Also, the garage is not really a 2 car garage without moving all the furniture out of the way and parking one car at an angle.

This home is the BEST Vrbo we have ever used!! Set the bar high!!!

Where do I even begin!! This property is beautiful, clean, comfortable as your own home, spacious, and well equipped with literally everything you need!! The property owners are amazing! All my interactions with Scott were effortless, accommodating, and kind! He was always quick to respond with my questions, spent time to send us a document for local recommendations, and trusted us with his beautiful home. We had everything we needed from laundry soaps, dish soap, trash bags, and many many other in home amenities that did not require us to pack up our home to bring with us on vacation. To be able to wake in the mornings and sit on the screened in deck, take a nap on the huge comfy couch, or play a little for hole out back off the game room was all amazing. We actually didn’t go out to eat hardly at all as we were so comfortable in this home we just cooked and relaxed the whole time! I will share this home with any and all that go to the area and I will be back in the future!!

Beautiful townhome and area!

We had a wonderful stay at this property while in Perdido Key! The townhouse is beautiful and spacious. My parents, myself, and my two children ages 9 & 10 stayed here for a week and had a great time. The beach chairs, toys and wagon were so nice to have on site and not have to pack/buy these things for the kids to play with for a week! The beds were comfortable, plenty of room in the living room and couch area for all of us, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals when we chose to. It rained the first half of our trip and having a nice, spacious place to stay that had plenty of entertainment (game room and TVs everywhere!) was vital! The pool area is nice as well as the beach. There is a walk to the beach. You have to cross the street after a nice walk down a sidewalk. This was not an issue for myself, children and father, but my mother is not in the best of health so we drove her most days to the beach. It is a flat walk however, and more than doable, and even with her bad knees and health issues, she still made the walk several times during our trip. It was enjoyable for us to walk to the beach in the evenings to hunt crabs, and early morning to the fitness center. I highly recommend this property; the owner was extremely responsive, kind and helpful, as well as flexible when we needed to change our plans a bit at the last minute. You can't go wrong with this one. The area is GORGEOUS and all the local restaurants we ate at were fantastic too!! Thank you for a wonderful time at your lovely home. We plan to be back!

Great house, nice amenities, but come prepared to make all of the beds.

The house is beautiful. It fit our family of 6 nicely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and regret having to dock a star due to the cleaners not doing their jobs well. Pros: - There is sidewalk and crosswalk access to the beach, but it is quite a distance, so we drove the kids. - Game room is an awesome amenity for when it rained, we all had lots of fun. - Pool on site is great for little kids through adults. - Nice large and open kitchen and living room, with a balcony. - Gorgeous finishes and appliances. - Beds were very comfortable. Cons: The cleaners showed up after we had checked in and were in the middle of unloading our belongings and groceries. They told us the sheets were still damp and that we'd have to run them again and make our own beds. After traveling most of the day with our four kids, making five beds was not something we were expecting. After getting a chance to look around, we found clean folded sheets in the master closet for that bed, so the cleaners had the opportunity to make at least one bed but chose not to. We also saw that the only shampoo that was provided were two small bottles in the half bath and whoever washed the greasy microwave also washed the mirror and left grease streaks. - There was a light bulb burned out in each upstairs bathroom. - The coffee maker still had used grounds in it, and the coffee pot had not been washed or rinsed. - The bathrooms and kitchen floors and stairs had not been vacuumed/swept. - The cupboards had spilled food residue on them. - There were tons of fruit flies throughout the house. - The master toilet had not been cleaned for a while. - The ceiling fans and AC return vents were coated with dust as well. Overall - great place.

Perfect Family Get-away

This was our third year to stay at this property and we still love it. The location is perfect and conveniently located to all things in Perdido. The updates made to the unit we wonderful. The owners are attentive and make sure everything is taken care of. We will be back next year!

Property was nice only negatives are that with small kids the stairs are a concern and having to load everything in vehicle to go to beach each day was a pain. Would I stay there again: probably not for the price we paid. Would I recommend it to people, sure.

Perfect for our wedding trip with family!

Fantastic place for our family while in Florida for our wedding. Very well kept, comfortable furniture and beds, and the open concept of the living room, dining, and kitchen, made for a great place to entertain a few friends after our wedding. Garage game room was an awesome feature for the kids and adults, and the layout of the townhouse gave us space when we needed it. The area was very laid back and relaxing compared to Orange beach which is just down the road.

Wonderful family beach vacation

My family enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Sand Dollar Townhouse in Perdido Key Florida. The condo was warm and welcoming. The living space was large and comfortable and fit my entire family of 5 perfectly. There was plenty of room for everyone to be together and also plenty of room for anyone to find their own space. The amenities were great - the kitchen was so well stocked and everything you needed for the beach was provided - I never knew I needed a beach cart in my life before this! The beds were so comfy - we all slept like babies. Two perks we really enjoyed were the lighted, screened in porch (perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks and banter) and the gas grill ( I love to be able to cook some fresh fish or burgers on the grill while at the beach!). The ping pong table and game area got put to good use as well. The location was a short, easy walk to the beach and also a short walk to the pool, tennis courts, gym, and a kayak/paddle-board rental. A very short drive gets you to the Publix and also to Perdido Seafood - our favorite place to get fresh seafood and their delicious seafood dips! Overall we had a wonderful stay and I would recommend this location to others looking for a great place to stay in Perdido Key

Great family vacation spot!

We had a great family vacation! The home was perfect for our family of 7. Plenty of room to relax on the large sectional, great game room downstairs, and the beds were nice and comfortable. Only a short walk to the private beach and a short drive to the state park beach. The pool was very nice. The kids enjoyed playing in the shallow water and splash area. Perdido Key was laid back and very enjoyable. The owners were easy to contact and gave us all the info we needed. Very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this home and the Lost Key Resort.

Nice home

Beautiful home. We had 4 women in our group ages 68 to 69. It wasn't ideal for us because the entrance was on the basement level. The bedrooms were on top level so we had to take suitcases up two flights of steps. The unit was very well stocked...best I've experienced, very clean and comfortably furnished. The shuttle is convenient coming back from the beach as it is the first stop. However, going to the beach it meanders through the whole neighborhood before getting to the beach club. We walked to the beach almost every time, which is about a 500 yard walk. One in our party had had recent hip surgery; another asthma so that distance is quite a trek. I think the condo would be more suitable to younger people. We loved having the complimentary chairs and umbrellas at the beach club. We felt very safe and secure there.

We were visiting with our daughter who is in the Navy. The townhouse was perfect for us. We had plenty of space and enjoyed the amenities. It was a great location for runs and walks and we took advantage of the tennis courts and golf. The area was beautiful, we rally enjoyed Johnson Beach.

Family Vacation

We loved our stay here! The house was incredibly comfortable, clean, and well stocked with anything you could possibly need. There was even a citrus juicer we used to make fresh squeezed orange juice for breakfast! The resort has many great amenities including tennis courts, pickleball courts, and the beach club. The beach was just a short walk away. The kids had a great time making sandcastles in the white sand and swimming in the clear waters. The sunsets at the beach were spectacular. The owner was very helpful and quick to respond to all of our questions and needs. Will definitely stay at this property again if we are in the area!

Hurricane + Terrible Owners = Nightmare Stay

The location is perfect! The amenities of the pool, spa, fitness center, club house, beach, golf course & tennis courts are fantastic! With that being said the attitude of the owners, and cleanliness of the townhouse left much to be desired. We had to buy toilet paper, make our own beds, and sweep the floors. Mind you that isn't the end of the world, but it's not expected or what we paid for. After seeing how filthy the hard floors were in the bathroom & kitchen I wondered if they were cleaned to Covid standards. That was the least of our concerns after dealing with Hurricane Sally & the owner and his wife on the phone. They did not want to refund us because we had to evacuate claiming the storm was "three states away" and that if we needed "to just go back to Texas if you don't like it." We were also told "what do you expect making a reservation in Florida during hurricane season?" What owner in their right mind talks to customers like this? Needless to say, we did get a refund and evacuated in time or we would have been stranded. We also contacted corporate and filed a claim against the owners. They agreed with us that the behavior of the owners is not what VRBO is about.

The best family vacation spot!

We absolutely enjoyed this beach house! It was clean and super close to the beach! The views were great and our families also enjoyed the pool with our littles. We are already planning a trip back!
