Our unique house is located in the heart of the Tuscarawas Valley. We have over 100 acres behind the house with mowed hiking trails and breathtaking views. We are within minutes of many local golf courses, Frisbie Golf courses, Amish Country, Wartherā€™s Museum, Zoar Village, Tuscora Park, Hiking and Biking Trails, Pro Football Hall of Fame, Atwood Lake, Schoenbrunn Village, Trumpet in the Land, shopping, restaurants and many Wedding Barns.

The pool is available weather permitting. It is the pool at our home so we may be using it too. This has never been a problem with guests. It is a large pool and pool area. We have multiple areas set up around the pool for social distancing and privacy. We do have another Airbnb on the property that may be using the pool, too. Again, it is a large pool with an even larger deck with multiple seating areas for everyone. We added a ping pong table in the pool house. A fire pit is available at the pool. Bundles of wood are available for $5.

Washer and Dryer can be avaliable upon request if you have a longer stay.

We are happy to help with any information needed to make your stay more comfortable.

We are 3 miles from downtown New Philadelphia or Dover. Most people from out of town have rented a car. There are many excellent restaurants within a half mile to five miles. We have a lot of property to walk and many bike trails nearby.

Verizon is our internet. It works everywhere. T-Mobile and AT&T do not work very well. Sprint works if you stand in one spot.

Renting a car is best. We do have a taxi service and Uber. There is plenty of parking.

The bedrooms are up a flight of stairs. There are 3 steps to go up to get into the house. There are 4 steps to get into the downstairs bathroom.
The 3rd bedroom is available when there are 5+ guests.

Highly recommend. Great little house in a beautiful setting. Comfortable beds. Host available if we needed anything. We didn't spend a lot of time there bc we were out enjoying Amish country. However, it looks like the pool and grounds would be wonderful in the summer.

Girl's Trip to Amish country

Beautiful property and wonderful home! We had a great weekend in Amish country and staying here was absolutely perfect! The house is big with a huge kitchen and the dining room has a big table perfect for playing games. After dinner we walked around some of the property to see the animals (ducks, chickens, peacocks, and especially the horses!) and we enjoyed it so much!

Nice quiet location

The house was too cute and worked well for our overnight stay with family. The location is quiet and having access to the farm animals was a plus. I would recommend this place to others as a good place to stay.

Fun, interesting, relaxing and memorable stay

This is an amazing property and Kari is a wonderful host. The house is comfortable and interesting with great views. The grounds are just wonderful. We enjoyed hiking the meadows and woods, playing with the dogs, petting the goats and watching all the farm animals (cows, chickens, turkeys, horses). The pool is awesome, large, deep for diving, and the pool deck and pool house make for a fun afternoon. The family is already talking about when we might come back!

Beautiful Place!

The pictures of this place online doesn't do it justice! I were blown away of how beautiful the farm was! The house was so clean and we loved the fact it was an old farm house! The beds were comfortable and whatever we lacked in the house, Kari was extremely kind to promptly bring them to us! She and her husband were also excellent hosts and always made the attempt to talk to us when we crossed paths. We didn't feel like we were being monitored, only being treated like friends! We,actually, appreciated it!! The pool was obviously our favorite activity, and the biggest part of our relaxation! My boys, 7 and 5, greatly appreciated the toys, pens to draw and write with and the children's books. They sat at the little kids table upstairs and drew pictures......basically, they felt at home!! Kari suggested we eat at the Pointe Restaurant, about 5 min from the cabin, and it was absolutely delicious!! We also took the boys to Tuscora Park, about 10-15min from the cabin, where they have about 6 carnival rides that our boys very much enjoyed!! We would highly recommend this house to anyone who is looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway!!!

We enjoyed our stay! House was clean, pool was close and loved seeing all of the animals. Owners were around at times working on farm. They were very helpful and kind. I hope you enjoyed the pictures the girls made for you. They had a great time. Thank you for everything and we will be back.

If you have kids, this is your place!

We had such a fantastic time! The house had everything that we needed, plus lots of toys and puzzles for the kids! There was a high chair for the baby, too! I LOVE farms and animals, so this was absolutely perfect. There were horses, goats, pigs, chickens, peacocks, and the friendliest dogs ever! (Just a word of caution, Miley likes to talk back to the thunderstorms!) The horses and goats were friendly enough to pet, and the roosters were nice (I can't say the same about my own roosters!) The pool was amazing. Plenty of pool towels, chairs, and even some toys. My boys spent HOURS jumping off the diving board each day we were there. There are other rental properties on the property. It was nice that there was another family for our boys to play with at the pool! Beautiful location, only minutes from grocery stores, pizza, icecream, etc. Definitely hit Miller's Creamery! I come to Ohio yearly to visit family, and this will be my go to place to stay! I can't wait to go back!

Wonderful cousins trip

We absolutely had a wonderful time. The owners were awesome and responded immediately to our needs. We were with our grandchildren the pool was crystal clean and was a center point for us to be able to hang out stay cool and play. We enjoyed interacting with the hosts and their dogs Milie and Winston.

Wonderfully Relaxing Location Great for Active People

Kari and Eric were so kind and accommodating. Wonderful communicators. When we arrived there was an issue with the refrigerator and within a couple of hours they had moved in a new one! We certainly didnā€™t expect that because there was a refrigerator by the pool that we could have used- they were so sweet about the situation. The property is very secluded with quiet areas to explore. We were close to one of Ohioā€™s top rated disc golf course which was very challenging but worth it- Overall incredibly pleased with our stay. We are already planning our next visit!

Great get away

We had the most wonderful time. Kari and Erich were great hosts (as well as their daughter and awesome pups), and my daughter loved all the farm animals. The house we stayed in was clean and spacious, but it should be noted that it is connected to the hostā€™s home (separated by locked doors). It should also be noted there is at least one other rental on the property. Overall very relaxing!
