Prachtig gelegen

Prachtig gelegen huis met schitterend zwembad. De toegangsweg is helaas zeer moeilijk berijdbaar. Helaas niet overal internet en de elektriciteit is wankel, als de airco ( helaas niet in het hele huis) aanstaat kan er niet worden gekookt. Locatie is schitterend en het uitzicht fantastisch.

Housekeeping was okay, less crockery and less cutlery, in the beginning we didn't have warm water so we had to contact easyreserve to check it for us because the agent wasn't able to do it the water of the pool was really cold but luckily we had good weather

Overall, the villa is excellent. It is in a great location close to many small towns which you can easily visit on day trips. We particularly enjoyed our day excursions to Sienna, Cortona & Florence. When we first arrived, there were a number of cobwebs which we needed to get rid of which was a little annoying. We also expected some "basic" supplies like dishwashing liquid/tablets, toilet paper, cleaning sponge/cloth. There was toilet paper but only half a roll in some of the toilets so we had to shop for those types of supplies immediately. In most self-catering accommodation those types of things would be supplied. The road into the villa is extremely bumpy and needs to be graded or smoothed as you felt like you were going to have the car tip over in some spots. The toilet & shower in the main house also leaked, so we needed to use towels as bathmats to stop the water at times. Other than those minor grizzles, everything else was perfect. The villa & annexe are spacious and the kitchen is generally well equipped. Beds are comfortable. The host was helpful and friendly.

Querciolaia is a wonderful property with unbelievably beautiful views. It's a perfect set up with a smaller house for the late night teenagers and a larger home for the grown ups.
