We had a most enjoyable stay. Downtown Savannah is beautiful and very accessible. The rental was charming and comfortable. We also enjoyed hanging out on the rocking chairs on the porch. The only negative was that the shower to the en suite drained much too slowly. Otherwise, everything met our expectations and I wouldn’t hesitate to go there again.

Thanks for the excellent rating and review! We hope to host y’all again soon.
Starland Grey was a great stay for me and my elderly mom on her first visit to Savannah! Our unit was clean and pretty easy to navigate. The location is perfect for a quick stroll to the Starlight District, and a great central location for exploring the Savannah area. And our host was very helpful and easy to communicate with. The train (we only saw it a couple of times during a three day stay) was also interesting to watch from the front porch.

We enjoyed our stay at Starland Grey. Comfortable beds, places to spread out, including a nice porch, and is in a great location. The train really didn't bother us and was actually fun to watch.
Minimal stairs are a rare find in Savannah. Super clean and comfortable accommodations. Fantastic front porch. Good neighborhood away from the more touristy areas.

Thanks so much for the excellent review and rating ! We love that you enjoyed your stay in Savannah with us. Come again soon!
The apartment had plenty of room. The kitchen was nice and fairly well stocked. The beds were comfortable. Light-sleepers be warned due to upstairs occupants and the train, but the white noise machines and earplugs were a nice touch.

Bart, We are glad you were still able to enjoy your vacation and hope you were able to accomplish everything you had planned. We cant wait to have you back!
Let's just say that my 13 yrs old decided that as an adult, he wants to live in an apartment just like this.
The property management were communicative, proactive and responsive. An absolutely seamless process and stay - beds that cradled you; clean spacious, modern spaces. We will be back as some sites we had planned on visiting were not opened on Tues and Wed. C u all soon.

Lynn, This feedback makes us so happy to hear! We are thrilled that your son enjoyed his stay and hopefully he got some ideas of his own to design his room! We would be more than happy to have you all back soon to experience the rest of Savannah!
The house is spacious and relatively close to historical parts of Savannah. There are some nice cafes (e.g., Toupical) near by. The management company was responsive to emails. We would have loved this house except for two things: cockroaches in the kitchen and bathroom terrified me and ruined my ability to enjoy this otherwise very nice house; the train is right next to the house and goes by, honking loudly, around 7 am.
Very quaint location. Far enough away from the main attractions so that the area wasn’t too busy, but still in an area where there were things to do if you didn’t want to venture out into the city. For the days when you do want to explore, the trolley stop was right near the house. The house is close to the local rescue mission, so there were several vagrant persons wandering around or sleeping in different areas in the neighborhood, so if you were not expecting that, it may be an adjustment, however, it did not feel unsafe, you just need to be aware of your surroundings. The house itself is very cute and is set on a street with similar styled homes. There was a charm to the home and the street itself with the older style that has been renovated to make it a little more modern without loosing its character. No problems with the stay. Would recommend and stay there again!

We loved our stay! 2 couples and this historic home made the holiday weekend awesome! The Starland neighborhood is fun and walkable. We had to drive into town, but that was ok. The only downside is the bathroom for the master - extremely small, no horizontal surface. Needs shelves in and outside of the shower. We LOVED the tickets on the front porch!
Great apartment, but not for people who need to sleep in
We rented this apartment because my daughter is a SCAD student and we wanted a place close to Starland Yard, where she would be showing her paintings for two days. It was just a perfect location for that. The place is a great size with two full bathrooms. We loved the big kitchen and full size washer/dryer. BUT the train does come through very close to the house. Usually around 7:00am. We were fine with it, but it might bother some people. The neighborhood is okay. I love Starland Cafe for lunch, but for some this might be too far from the historical squares and the river. It was just perfect for us.
This was a beautiful house with plenty of room. We loved the neighborhood. There are several restaurants in walking distance including the Starland Cafe across the street which was fabulous. When you want to venture to the historic district it is just a couple miles away. The property is right beside train tracks but the train only came through once during our visit and we actually enjoyed relaxing in the rocking chairs on the front porch and watching it go by. We would definitely stay here again.
Overall we had a pretty good experience at this place. The parking was a little iffy, and the rear door lock was on the fritz, but the location is pretty close in proximity to downtown Savannah, and this was a pretty charming spot. Thanks for having us!
Came to Savannah for a long week to celebrate birthdays and graduation from our masters program! The location was perfect! The house is adorable! Plenty of room, easy check in and check out!
The house itself is very nice. I loved the walks to the Foxy Loxy Coffee shop and the ease to downtown. However, from night one we had issues. The couch bed was broke and one of the ladies had to spend the nights on a VERY broke down couch. The outlet in the bathroom kept tripping the breaker, and the hot water heater did not keep up with us taking showers and the remote did not work with the fan and light so we could not have the fan on at night. . I sent several emails about the issues with no response. I asked for something as simple as paper towels and could not get paper towels delivered. Four days there and we could not get PAPER TOWELS!!!!!!
I enjoyed my stay very much, had a great time, the place very clean, nice and comfortable, I really enjoyed the white towels, and wash cloth because I knew they were clean and fresh; I even enjoyed the sound of the train.
The property was clean and spacious very cozy, the beds comfortable.
Quiet and central neighborhood very close to all the main attractions in Savannah.
The parking area is a little small.
If you will drive, consider a standard car
Overall great place to stay. Convenient to most everything we wanted to do. Home is very cute!
We enjoyed our stay very much and overall very pleased. Only complaints would be the house is literally right beside the railroad tracks and train was quite loud in the early morning hours waking us a little earlier than we wanted. The parking was a little tricky and the master bedroom bathroom is super small. Beds were comfy. Decor was nice. Rental company very helpful.

Tammy, Thank you for the input as without it we wouldn't know where to improve. We are glad overall you enjoyed your vacation and hope to host you again!
Flat is a great size with nicely updated kitchen and bathrooms. Neighborhood is definitely in a transitional zone, but we felt safe and had no issues. Super convenient to downtown and lots of restaurants and shops. Train track is much closer (and louder) than we anticipated, if you're a light sleeper this is NOT the place for you. We loved the spacious front porch and stoop - hosted our socially distanced meal on the ample porch, wide stoop steps and generous sidewalk-front yard. Sleeper sofa (and only living seating) was missing its mattress, so the flat really only really sleeps 4 and the couch was uncomfortable without the support of the mattress inside. We did stuff some extra pillows into the mattress void to make the couch comfortable enough to enjoy. Overall, a great place - just needs a little fine tuning.
