Place was as advertised! Very comfortable. Really liked that the sliding back door faced Fish Creek so was very private. Wildlife would walk past from time to time, so great. Kitchen had everything we needed to make a few meals and took advantage of the clothes washer and dryer. No complaints.
Super cozy little spot with easy access to skiing! We enjoyed using the fireplace and the peacefulness of the nearby River as well as the overall ease of having a full kitchen. Staff was very easy to contact and super helpful and friendly!
Fabulous place 10 mins from Jackson Hole Ski Fields
Great place that slept 5 of us, my husband and & I and 3 teenagers. The bunks were surprisingly comfortable although a tad short if you have tall children, we don’t!The kitchen is well equipped but very narrow so caused traffic jams at meal times but definitely not a deal breaker. Fire place was nice, couches were comfy a good stay given we were on the slopes skiing each day.
Had a fantastic ski weekend with my fiancé and our friend. Feels like a classic ski condo. Comfy and rustic in the best ways. Would definitely stay again.
Great place for the price. Clean. Nicely stocked kitchen (pots/pans etc). Comfortable couch. Bed is on the softer side, but is not unreasonably so. It was a good size for a couple, it would work well with 1-2 kids in addition as well. Overall, very happy with everything
We had a raccoon come through the chimney while we were sleeping and was 2 feet away from my face. The host left the damper open and came down the flue. My kid and family couldn’t sleep all night and had an early flight home. Couldn’t get ahold of the actual owner and the managing companies gesture was to reimburse 50 for the inconvenience and negligence on their part. There were also no spoons in the kitchen. Plenty of forks and knives. I wouldn’t stay here again with my family due to the sub par response I received. They needed to send out animal control or better yet, close the damper in a townhouse located in a partially wooded area.

Hi Matthew,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are truly sorry for the distress caused by the unexpected raccoon incident during your stay. Please know that we take situations like this very seriously.
The team you reached out to by both phone and text responded promptly and was prepared to send someone to assist, though you reported that the issue had already been resolved. As part of our pre-arrival inspection process, our team checks to ensure the fireplace damper is closed, and we deeply apologize that this step was unfortunately missed on this occasion. This has been reviewed internally with our entire team to ensure it is not overlooked in the future. We also want to note that this has never been an issue at this home or at any of the other properties we manage, but we are so sorry this was something you experienced during your stay.
Regarding the kitchen supplies, our inspections team conducts a thorough inventory check prior to every arrival, but we sincerely apologize if they missed the absence of spoons on this occasion. We would have been happy to deliver additional utensils during your stay had we been made aware. Since your departure, the kitchen inventory has been fully evaluated and restocked as needed.
We are also sorry to learn that you felt $50 was a disappointing refund. Please know that this amount reflects over half of the rent for the evening and was offered as a gesture to acknowledge the inconvenience.
We sincerely apologize for the disruption to your family’s stay and appreciate your feedback, which helps us continue improving our guest experience. We hope that, despite this incident, you were still able to enjoy your time in the area.
All the best,
The Outpost Team

Nice condo. Clean and well equipped. As other reviews mentioned, you can't see the creek in summer - but there is a lot of wildlife. We saw Moose, foxes, etc. Reviews stating is wasn't clean, or smelled, must be really snooty people. It was clean and we would definitely stay again.
Very functional, great kitchen amenities, lots of wild life
This was the best kitchen we’ve ever had in a short term rental in terms of pots/pans/knives/etc. There was even a crockpot that we used once. The cooking utensils are all silicone and the pots and pans are nice Martha Stewart ceramic coated non-stick pans. They were all in very good condition. The views of the nature were spectacular. On the property we saw a fox, some moose, tons of birds, and an elk. Very convenient location to both Jackson and Teton national park.
Overall this place was perfect go our trip. Only downside for me would be the cleanliness, the shower curtain needed washing (it had a terrible smell). Corner areas need a good vacuuming and floors need a good cleaning. But overall it wasn’t disgusting. The kitchen was supplied very well and the cleanest area. Bunk beds were adorable and have clothes hanging area. Loads of board games and books were a nice touch. We would use this place again.

Hi Lexie,
We are so glad to hear that Thimbleberry 3212 was perfect overall, but terribly sorry to hear about the shower curtain and floors not being up to our cleanliness standards! We wish we had known, as we would have gladly sent a team back to bring the home up to our standards. These items should never have been missed in the first place, and we sincerely apologize for that. Based on your feedback, we have replaced this shower curtain entirely, and completed a deep cleaning of this home. We would love to host you again if you ever return to the area!
Cheers,
The Outpost Crew
Great location to Jackson and the Grand Teton National Park and served our needs. Having a full kitchen and washer & dryer was a plus. Even saw a moose on the property! Just a few suggestions…kitchen needs sharper knives for preparing food. Carpets, tiled floors, windows and outside patio needs a thorough cleaning!! Noisy from the upstairs condo! Overall, it worked for us! Thank you!

The photos associated with this home listing must be very old as they do not reflect the condition of both the inside and the outside of this house as well as the outdoor areas. The interior is much more worn than is shown. The kitchen and dining area had numerous ants. A towel hook in the bathroom and a kitchen cabinet handle were both hanging from one screw and the flooring was uneven and had separated in several areas. The outdoor areas were also neglected and the yard (both front and back) had old worn-out furniture and miscellaneous trash scattered around. There is also a refrigerator sitting outside on one side of the house. The dock is in need of attention (do not walk barefoot as the wood is splintered and nails are sticking up where the wood has rotted away). The house is in need of paint, particularly the back deck. and front porch. The outdoor furniture cushions were moldy/had mildew and the front porch had a dirty couch on it. Also note that this house is located in an industrial area.On the plus side, the kitchen is well equipped with anything that you could possibly need. The view of the river is beautiful. The size of the house is great for families.Overall, the entire property needs attention - a deep clean of the interior and repainting the outside, as well as cleaning up the yard and removing the old outdoor furniture that is scattered around would go a long way to restoring this home to match the photos in the listing.
This place was perfect! It was clean, comfortable, quiet and a great location. It was very easy to schedule, check in and check out. Wonderful! Will definitely book again in the future.
Our family had a wonderful stay! The property was located perfectly for what we needed and was very comfortable to come back to each evening after a days hike or sightseeing. We enjoyed 5 days in The Tetons and Yellowstone. Our son lives in Jackson and gave us the grand tour and showed us why he loves living there! Can't wait to come visit again!

Just okay
We wanted to get away, do some hiking, and pretend like 2020 wasn't happening for a week.
Communication and easy add ons like groceries and baby carriers gave us hope that we'd chosen a nice place to stay for the week. Us = 2 adults and 1 toddler.
The drive to the property was beautiful. The leaves were changing and the growth is lush. However as you get farther back into the neighborhood you realize its all condos/apartments/townhouses. It seemed to me like this is where folks live when they want to be ski bums after college while working to make rent. No shame, just not what I was expecting to pull up to.
The unit is on the ground floor which was nice for hauling in all the baby gear. It was a bit of a bummer that the plant growth is so dense that you can't see the river directly behind the unit. Not only can you not see it, you can't access it. The river is all private property which all the neighbors are quick to point out as we strolled the neighborhood trying g to get a glimpse.
The unit itself is decent sized and well set up for a 1 bedroom. It worked well for our family of 3. There are bunk beds which we didn't use in the hall area. The bedroom had enough space for us to set up the pack-n-play.
The nicest thing i can say about the condo was that if it was a college kid's place it was pretty great. For an adult or family it was sub-par. Old sagging furniture, moldy bathroom grout, dirty looking carpet and rugs. Lots of potential for improvement but they need to spend some time and money cleaning, fixing, and updating.
First off it smells. It was a mix of weed, body odor, and something else which I couldn't figure out. Leaving the windows opened helped but the run down carpet, rugs, and sagging cloth furniture all had absorbed the smell. We really didn't want to cozy up and relax anywhere.
We had a couple issues additional issues besides the smell. The silverware drawer got stuck open, the baby carrier we rented was missing a clasp, and the pots and pans were awful to cook on. (Cook an extra egg as you'll sacrifice one to the pan is it will get stuck to it.) Management sent someone and the drawer was fixed. I'm told we weren't charged for the carrier. (I need to check to see if that is correct.) No one fixed the smell so every day was the same routine of opening the windows and leaving them that way as long g as possible before freezing. We didn't mention the pans but hopefully they read this and take action.
Made due to be happy

Hi Audra,
We are terribly disappointed to hear that you had a three star stay at Thimbleberry 3212. We have never received feedback before or after your stay about an odor at this home, so we imagine this must have been due to the previous renter in the home. Regardless, we do not allow smoking in any of our homes and sincerely apologize for any smell, as we understand how disruptive this can be to a relaxing vacation. We have also since purchased new cookware for the home and certainly could have brought some for you during your stay, had we known this was an issue. Based on your feedback, we have scheduled a deep steam cleaning and re-grouting of the home, and sincerely apologize that this home wasn't up to our standards for your stay. We hope we have the opportunity to welcome you back to Jackson Hole someday to show you the five star experience we strive to provide for all of our guests!
Sincerely,
The Outpost Crew
