Everything about the cabin was perfect! The location, the ambiance, and even the surrounding farm. It provided a nice getaway that was still close to many places. Would definitely recommend this stay!

thank you so much for the review :)
I am glad you enjoyed your visit and hope y'all come back soon!
My spouse and i needed a place to stay while visiting a friend in a nursing home, and we are happy we chose this tiny house situated by a creek on a horse farm. It was very clean and quiet and there was no light polution at night.
Laurie’s cabin is a perfect place for couples looking for a stay off the beaten path! We were so on the go during our trip we didn’t get to soak in the full farm experience as I had wished, but we did thoroughly enjoy our stay here! Clean, cozy and quiet - and the animals are social which is great if you’re an animal lover like myself 😅 We arrived after dark and were still able to find the cabin with ease!
The tiny cabin was just what we needed, to get away from it all. Very relaxing, wondered the farm, love the animals. My wife especially loved the horses! We stayed 4 days, and 3 day trips to close by attractions, great to come back and just relax. Best getaway I have had in quite a while. Would have loved to visit with the owner, we are both rockhounds, but she was away on vacation herself.
I stayed here to get my dogs away from fireworks, the owner was kind and helpful while planning this little trip. I am definitely going back, but probably without the dogs so i can experience more of the property. My dogs are friendly, but in my haste i didn't think of there natural desire to herd, they're Border Collies and i was concerned they might try to, as they do with people even! Lol! Great place! Thanks

Needed and overnight to break up a long road trip. Perfect. We love farm living, so the property was terrific with all of the animals. The cabin had an amazing view of the creek. For a "tiny house" it was very airy and comfortable. Laurie was always available if we had a question and helped us resolve the workings of the 2-burner hotplate. We also took the option of their home raised beef and ordered steaks to cook. Incredible! Highly recommend.
So we booked the stay and the listing stated 2 bedrooms and 3 beds. When we got there it was a 1 bedroom big issue with 4 people 2 kids and 2 adults. The manager was great with getting things fixed. We only stayed one night out of four because we needed more room for the kids. Everything really would have been great if it was the wife and I.
The property is beautiful and the location of the cabin next to the creek is perfect. I booked the stay for my adult daughter and myself as well as our two dogs. Unless you go with someone you want to share a bed with, the sleeping situation is tight. Kitchen space is also very limited so don’t plan on cooking a big meal. We did a basic pasta and salad meal but anything more complicated would be tough to pull off. Refrigerator space is also very limited so if you plan on staying more than a couple nights, you might want to bring a cooler.
The animals were fun to watch and relaxing to see how much they were enjoying the open pastures.
Overall, a nice stay. I would return but only if staying by myself.
We enjoyed just getting away. It did rain most the time we was there but it was nice to hear the rain on the metal roof and just enjoy our time together. All the animals are lovely and friendly. They gave us some lovings ever time they seen us from the dogs, the white & gray cat our favorite, barn cats, and the beautiful horses. Our dog fit right in as soon as we got there.
A lovely, relaxing place to unplug, simplify, and feel more connected to one’s natural environment…while still enjoying modern creature comforts like wifi, electricity, plumbing, heating/cooling, tv and a memory foam mattress.. Laurie the owner and property manager was responsive and helpful. I hope to come back soon.
Beautiful, relaxing, and tranquil farm with lots of friendly farm animals! Host was great and tiny house was adorable, clean, and comfortable. Hope to go back soon!
Everything about this place was amazing! The hosts, the cabin, the views, the animals, everything about it was special. Will definitely be coming back and will definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for q peaceful place to relax
A wonderful retreat in a quiet, relaxing and beautiful setting. The host is great!

Why they chose this property
I did quite a bit of land shopping while in the market for property. This farm is the perfect blend of privacy & convenience. There is virtually no ambient light here and all the neighbors are friends. Pair this with wildlife, creeks, hills, ponds, and hilltop sunsets - the place is really hard to beat :)
What makes this property unique
All of my horses are friendly and welcome you to stroll the farm and pet them. The creek is a wonderful setting for getting a line wet or simply taking it all in and solving the world's problems.
In addition to all the amenities you would want in a stay, wifi, comfortable bed & premium quality bedding, nice, clean bathroom facilities, Flat-screen with Netflix & amazon, I have also put in an outdoor shower that view's the creek and is tiki lit at night. A wonderful calming way to end your day!
