1st Floor & Pet Friendly with Private Fenced Yard - Across from Beach Walkover

Easy Access Ground Level Apartment - Pet friendly with furnished patio, grill with propane and private fenced yard. King in master bedroom, 2nd sleeping area has double bed. Dog friendly. It is located at the 7th street beach walkover for quick and easy beach access, approximately a 100 foot walk. Only a six block walk into town for dining and great entertainment. This is a townhouse unit in a building that has three units.

WE ARE PET FRIENDLY! PLEASE SELECT THE "PET" BUTTON. Maximum 2 dogs and we do not accept cats or birds. The pet fee is $95.00 plus tax and covers both dogs. Please let us know the breed/s and weight/s of your dog/s upon booking.

Location was fantastic- super close to the beach. The house was perfect and very comfortable for 3 people. We also loved the outdoor area for coffee in the morning. We will definitely be coming back next year!

Great location - easy walk to beach that wasn’t crowded at all. Although a bit longer, also walkable to “town” for dinner & drinks so no need to drive & find parking. Easy check in and very clean. Only (small) negative is you can hear others in neighboring apartments (above & next to). Very pet friendly!

This was the last of several trips to Folly Beach and one of our best ones. Everything was clean and plenty of towels and everything you might need for a comfortable stay. I can confidently recommend this location for an enjoyable stay in the area. Located about 100 yards from public beach access.

Super close to the beach and a very quiet area of Folly. We love all the restaurants and entertainment, would recommend bringing a scooter or bike to get around from here. Overall super nice place and great location!

We had a wonderful stay here — we were especially excited about how close we were to the beach. It was easy to run up to the apartment and refill waters or grab a snack to bring down, for example. It was a comfortable and relaxing place to stay, and the A/C works beautifully, which was important during the heat wave happening during our trip. My only negative would be, like many reviewers have spoken to, the 9 a.m. checkout time. I did ask about an extension and was given until 10, which helped enormously, but the stress of the impending early morning departure put a bit of a damper on the trip. Overall, though, a great experience.

We are happy that you had a good stay. We are set up for 9AM check out (and it is indicated on communication from the time you book). We also allow check-in at 3 PM which is earlier than most other locations. This is based on the need to accommodate the cleaning crews. As you indicated, I work with renters as available.

Apartment was perfect for the two of us as well as two chihuahuas. Actually Two bedrooms so the space could accommodate more people. Kitchen has all amenities. Close proximity to the beach. Public access is literally across the street. Very pet friendly. Rugs but no carpet. Yard is perfect for outside activities. Propane grill provided and yard is beautiful. Six person table with umbrella provided outside. Assigned Parking which is worth everything at Folly. Close enough to Center street but far enough that you aren’t dealing with all the traffic. Host was very communicative and friendly.

Chastain's Cottages has been in business since 1941 on Folly Beach. Lois Chastain moved from GA to work at the Naval Shipyard during the war. Eula bought houses and rented them to pay for them. We have 5 rental units - 3 smaller apartments across from the beach and 2 oceanfront houses. Lunnette will be 90 in 2024. She was Miss Folly Beach 1948! Alicia is the third generation and happy to help and to answer any questions.
