The location of the condo was great. You can walk to the beach if you are young enough. The island has all you really need as far as shopping and entertainment. We did go in to the. ‘City’ area for other things to do. All close enough not to be bothersome. The condo was clean. Bed is comfortable. Kitchen pretty much has all you need. The pool area is really nice. Large, well equipped and clean. We did have a few minor issues but they were resolved for the most part. There is a coffee maker but no coffee supplies (filter, coffee , tea or sugars). Host was responsive and polite.

We love hearing feedback like this! We're so glad you enjoyed the condo, the comfortable bed, the well-equipped kitchen, and the beautiful pool area. It sounds like you found the perfect home base for exploring both the Island and Corpus Christi. We're also happy our team was able to quickly help with the few issues that came up during your stay. For future guests, we provide the coffee maker, but guests will want to bring their favorite coffee, filters, sweeteners, and other preferred supplies. Thank you for choosing to stay with us. We hope to welcome you back for another beach getaway soon!

Great weekend stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was ready on time, it was clean and the decor was nice. It’s a tight fit for two adults & two teens but we made it work. Super close to the beach and easy to get in & out of. The only thing we did not like was that the pool was heated, was looking forward to a nice cool relaxing dip after being at the beach all day.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We found the condo very nice. Fully equipped with everything we needed. Mattress on the couch was uncomfortable so the kids just used a blow up mattress. There was tar in the bath tub but we showered only so it was not a problem. Otherwise we had a great trip and enjoyed staying in your condo. Would definitely stay there again.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Respuesta de VrboOwner el 30 de sept de 2022
Thank you for your feedback, Paula. I took the liberty of looking into this, as this is not our operating standard and did raise a large concern. I was not able to find a record of inbound call from you during the associated stay dates. We truly apologize that you felt you weren't offered the proper help. While roaches are indigenous to the area, we do have remedies that are fairly easy to apply for help with the local critters. We want you to know that we're happy to help with anything needed during your stay. We hope to see you again and are happy to extend you a returning customer discount on any future, short-term stay. Thank you for choosing Padre Escapes.

Condo close to the beach!

Our condo was very clean and gave us great access to the beach. Our reserved parking was right outside our door, which made unpacking and packing up so much easier. The onsite pool was also very nice and big enough that families with smaller kids could be at one end, while adults & teens could enjoy the other end. The master bed was very comfortable and we had plenty of space. The kitchen had all of the pots, pans, toasters, utensils, etc that we needed to cook in the condo. Our only complaint is that the pull out bed in the sofa can't be slept on. Even with layers of blankets, you could feel the springs poking through. We had to go buy an air mattress to use instead.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a good time. It was a bit different beach experience then we've had in the past but after we got things figured out as far as what we need to enjoy the days at the beach it was great! As far as property nice location. We had what we needed but would highly recommend leaving a broom or some type of cleaning item to clean up sand off the floor. There was nothing to do this with.

Location for the beach was great! Also great space for 2people but not sure about anymore. Looks just like the pics! Couple of things... a cookie sheet/pan would’ve been nice, other than that, really liked the kitchen! And another might need to check up in housekeeping. For most part was keep looking but when I was having trouble working the tv, checking connections, hard not to notice all the dust build up on the equipment & also the a/c vent had some spider web/dust hanging from it. Also swept up after coming back from the beach, swept someone pill from under cabinet rim. Glad I didn’t have or anyone else’s child found it. When checking under bed for anything that might gotten kicked under it, there was a lot of dust bunnies there too. Loved having a washer/dryer to use in condo!! I like not having to come back home & not have to do laundry! Again great location!!! About 30 min to TX ST Aquarium & USS Lexington & Port Aransas! Also suggest Woody’s Sport Dock for Sunset/Dolphin Watch Tour!! Yes I would stay here again!!!!

Great stay overall

The stay was great for a last minute family getaway. It’s close to the beach and quiet area. The condo had everything we needed for a small family. We even got to check in 2 hrs early. The pull out sofa was uncomfortable, the mattress was just thin, the sofa alone was more comfortable. We’d recommend it!
