Wine Tasting Weekend - Amazing Southside Location

We had a wonderful weekend stay with friends. Perfect location for southside wineries, spacious and comfortable home with everything we could possibly need. Our favorite was sitting outside under the pergola enjoying the beautiful views! Highly recommend and we will be back!

Beautiful and Quiet

Dinner on the patio was picturesque. Wineries are so close by with many to walk to. Basement games were a hit. Jacquie and Dan made us feel very welcomed!

Great house. Lots of amenities. Great location.

The house was perfect for our group—plenty of room both inside and outside the house, a well-appointed kitchen, and close proximity to numerous wineries. Dan and Jacqui recommended a visit to Caprio Cellars which ended up being the perfect activity after a long drive from Seattle. The winery had excellent appetizers which also happened to be free.

Fantastic stay

What a wonderful property. Myself and 3 friends rented this home and found clean beds, spotless central spaces and an awesome basement full of various games to play - shuffleboard, ping pong, pool, darts. The owners were very responsive - helped us if we needed anything and asked how we were doing during our stay. I’d HIGHLY recommend renting from them and am hopeful we will do so again next year!

Fantastic Place for an Amazing Winery Experience

So close to so much! This house really had an amazing touch and flair to it. It was perfect for getting out to the wineries, even better for getting back and making a big dinner. Having a place like this to be our base, made setting up our tours so easy. The owners absolutely thought about the amenities and made checking in and our as easy as can be.

Amazing location in the heart of wine country!

We loved this property. You can’t beat the location if you are heading to Walla Walla to go wine tasting. There are about 8 wineries within walking distance. The views from the back patio are similar to those from a gorgeous winery tasting room. And it’s only 15 min into town. It worked perfect for our party of 8.

Wonderful Anniversary Trip

My wife and I spent our anniversary weekend in Walla Walla accompanied by 5 other family members. This home was perfect for us. It's in a very convenient location on the south side. It has a wonderful view of the surrounding vineyards and was nicely appointed. Jacquie and Dan were very accommodating and were very responsive to our requests. We highly recommend this home and look forward to staying with them again.

Great hosts and amazing views

We loved staying at Jacquie and Dan’s cozy home on our weekend trip to Walla Walla. The house is situated just outside of downtown, so you have easy access to everything with a slightly quieter and more scenic experience. The location is great for getting outside and enjoying the scenery—spacious backyard that opens up to local vineyards, plenty of quiet country road to stretch your legs or go for an evening stroll with the family. Both Dan and Jacquie we’re communicative and helpful throughout the booking process and stay. Would definitely return!

Can't wait to come back!

Mr. and Mrs. Roach were extremely easy to get a hold of before and during the stay at their property. I had a couple of questions prior to arrival and they had answered me back the same day. The pictures don't do their house justice. I enjoyed coffee while overlooking the backyard and enjoyed dinners on the patio. The basement was a lot of fun since we were a bigger group. We had dart competitions, shuffleboard, and ping pong tournaments at night. I cannot say enough nice things about this house. I will be visiting soon and looking forward to booking their house again. Wedding and Wine with friends

We were here for a friends wedding. The venue was right next-door at Solomon Cellars. We had the whole weekend to do winetasting. The property was an excellent location. All the beds were comfy, and the game room was super fun for a late night festivities. We had a ton of room and a beautiful view. . I would highly recommend staying here with friends or family.

Wine tasting weekend

I highly recommend this house for a fun weekend getaway. We stayed Friday- Sunday and had a wonderful experience. We took advantage of the beautiful patio with the great views and once the weather cooled, we made our way to the game room and challenged one another in shuffle board, darts, pool and foosball. There were many wineries near by that we biked to on Saturday and spent the evening playing pickle ball on the driveway. Jacqueline and Dan were both very communicative, easy to get ahold of and left very detailed instructions, recommendations and information for our stay- additionally, the house was beautiful and clean. I hope we can return in the future for another great stay.

Walla Walla 2020

We LOVED this fantastic home! Everything was outstanding. The hosts were gracious and we felt right at home the minute we walked in. Great location, extremely well stocked kitchen and has all the amenities you would want. The downstairs was a huge hit with the boys (husbands) so FUN! We will be returning as soon as we can and will stay here again!

Incredible home for a wine getaway in beautiful Walla Walla.

I recently stayed at this wonderful home with my wife and a few other couples for a wine trip to Walla Walla and we had an amazing time and experience with this rental. This home is perfect for either a trip with couples or a trip with your family as it has plenty of space, an incredible location, and it offers everything you could need for a getaway. The home itself is adorable with a beautiful backyard, stunning flowers, and plenty of outdoor space for kids to run around. We ate breakfast outside each morning on the back deck (right off the kitchen) looking out over the vineyards – the back faces west so it is nice and cool in the mornings. Every evening we shared a bottle of wine on the front patio and then moved to the back and watched the sun go down behind the hills. The bedrooms were clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms have all been updated and had everything we needed. This home is walking distance (!!) to at least 7 wineries. You can see North Star (3 min walk) and Pepper Bridge (12 min walk) from the back patio. Rulo and Isenhower are a short 10 minute walk to the north. With a car, you are less than 10 minutes from the rest of the wineries on the SW side of Walla Walla – this includes Va Piano, Amavi, Valdemar, etc. – you won’t have enough time to hit them all! We have done wine trips to Napa before, but the proximity of this home to all the wonderful tasting rooms made our first trip to Walla Walla so much more enjoyable than any previous wine trip! When we wanted to venture out it was an easy 15-minute drive to downtown Walla Walla and all the cute shops and restaurants. We had a wonderful brunch at the Maple Counter Café and an incredible dinner at TMACs. At night, we had the option to entertain ourselves in the basement with Ping Pong and a pool table, but we had a blast with the full-length shuffleboard table! If you have kids, they will love it down there. On the main floor there is a smart TV equipped to login to Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.. to watch movies. I cannot give a high enough recommendation for this home and will definitely be looking to rebook it for our next trip to WW! Walking distance: North Star, Pepper Bridge, Va Piano, Tertulia, Rulo, Isenhower, & Solemn Cellars Under 15 minute drive: Downtown WW tasting rooms, Basel Cellars, Valdemar, Amavi, Balboa Under 20 minute drive: Walla Walla airport, Wine Valley Golf, Dunham, CAVU, Three Rivers, L’Ecole, and everything else in the area!
