Lovely!

Three generations of my family just enjoyed the beautiful Woodbine home in St John. The view is magnificent, the pool stayed warm for evening relaxation. I would absolutely stay there again should we be lucky enough to return to the island!

Family Trip

The place was so peaceful and the views to the North and South were spectacular. The local deer were out every evening. We also fished near the coral bay marina about 8 mins away and caught a bunch of different fish.

Great stay!

We had a great week at Woodbine Villa! It was clean, well stocked and was in a perfect location to enjoy the whole island. Loved eating on the porch, we had a visit from the donkeys during dinner. The host was easy to communicate with and gave a lot of great suggestions! Thanks for an awesome week.

Beautiful Villa away from it all

This property is fantastic. The views of the bays below are incredible! The house had everything we needed for a week on the island. The location is great for access to the north shore beaches as well as the less crowded beaches near coral bay! The host is very responsive and they help you get ready for your trip. We will stay here again!

Daly Vacation Visit

We had a wonderful time at Woodbine. The house is very well laid out with great amenities. Plenty of room made the visit that more relaxing. The oversized deck, pool and view were a highlight of staying at this location. It was close to beaches yet far enough away from Cruise Bay for us. If we decide to come back to St. John in the near future we would certainly stay at Woodbine again!

Wonderful location and beautiful views!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Woodbine Villa! The house is conveniently located between Cruz Bay and Coral Bay and close to several beaches. We rented a jeep so the drive up to the house was not a problem at all. The house was stocked with everything that we needed and the views were incredible. Emily did an excellent job of communicating with us! I would definitely recommend staying at this home!

Perfect Stay

Woodbine was the perfect villa for our family of 4 (2 kids, 6&4). We loved being all on one level and the constant cool breeze at Woodbine. Drive to the beaches was easy as was to Coral bay. Cruz a bit further but still easy. Emily was a great communicator and everything was smooth. No complaints at all and would definitely stay here again!

Paradise up high

Property is located near top of Mamey Peak. Breezes and views are fantastic. Property has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The deck and pool area are great after a day of beaches and excursions. Donkeys and deer come right up to the property. Emily was great to communicate with. Prompt and provided all the info and support you need. Great stay 20 out 10 stars.

Much nicer than the listing pictures!

All communications with the property manager were prompt and helpful. The property is even nicer than the pictures in the listing. The views of Coral Bay and North Shore beaches were amazing.! The house had everything we needed. It was so helpful to have many of the basics in the house such as dishwashing liquid, dishwasher detergent, shampoo, lotion, sunscreen.

Just lovely!

This is a wonderful, comfortable property in a very convenient location. The house itself is spacious and airy, with a fantastic kitchen stocked full of high-end cooking equipment. The bedroom (we only used the primary bedroom) was air conditioned and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was modern and roomy, with a rainfall shower and beautiful tiling. The deck and pool were heavenly! There are excellent views to the north and east, and neighbors are far enough away that you feel very much alone at the top of the world. I highly recommmend Woodbine Villa.

Everything You Could Need

Woodbine as very well stocked with everything you could need. The villa, deck and pool were beautiful anddvery clean. As noted in the listing the drive up to the villa is rough however it wasn’t too long. Loved that it as close to North Shore beaches. A short drive to Coral Bay or Cruz Bay. Emily was very responsive to all texts. We will be back. The Reinemanns

Wonderful stay at Woodbine

Our stay at the Woodbine villa on St. John was wonderful! Communication with the property owner was direct and seamless. The house is very functional and beautiful. Lots of cross ventilation from multiple screens meant we rarely needed air conditioning, but it is available in the bedrooms. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with everything one could need on a tropical vacation getaway. We really appreciated the available beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and ice packs, and snorkel flippers. Internet was quick and WiFi access easy. Would absolutely stay again in the future when back on the island!

The pool was small but not a big deal to our group. The home was clean, attractive and well furnished.Backpack style beach chairs, coolers and ice packs, masks and snorkels ( of average quality), books and maps about St John were all there. The view of Coral Bay was beautiful and east facing for nice sunrises. The shower head in the master took 3 to 4 minutes to get hot. Also the bedroom and community bathroom doors were slats which didn’t give a lot of privacy. We enjoyed our stay there and our hosts Anthony and Emily were very friendly and responsive. The yard and flowering shrubs and trees were beautiful and well tended. Get ready for a bumpy ride up Mamey Peak road. It would be best to arrive before dark however we didn’t and made it just fine. This home is very close to Maho Bay and St Francis Bay which are very nice beaches on St. John.

Wonderful Week

As many have mentioned, the property looks better in person. A little hiccup to start as both showers had no heat. That was fixed the very next day and all was well. Emily was available from start to finish. The drive is harrowing as there is no paved road leading to the villa, so one's insides are bouncing around for about a 1/4 of a mile. I'd still come back next year. Really great week.

Stop It! Photos do not capture the beauty of this property,

Do Not stay here. Just don't. The home and property are amazing. Emily, Amazing. Pool, Amazing. Weather, well, you understand, Amazing. This property sets a very high bar and any place after this just won't measure up. This place made our stay, the restaurant down the street, Shambles, avoid. It really is a shambles with cold food, slow service, barflies, and attitude. Better yet, do yourself a favor and make your meals in the well equipped kitchen. I wish that all of our stays were as wonderful as our stay here. Thank you.

Amazing property

The house was so well stocked so it was like visiting a relative! The house has wonderful views. The road is very bumpy in a couple of places. Emily provided a video showing what the drive up to house looked like so we knew what to expect. She also answered our questions and texts immediately. WV has very high end appliances and kitchen is well stocked! We brought cushions inside from deck after first night as heavy dew or showers made it uncomfortable to enjoy morning coffee out there. Beds very comfortable. Donkeys in the neighborhood amusing! Pool lovely. Location on coral bay is so close to beaches! Would highly recommend.

Peaceful Paradise

Amazing! Check-in was easy. Emily answered our questions very quickly and was so kind. The photos don’t do the view justice. We woke up to see the stunning sunrise every morning! Kitchen was well equipped…perhaps could use a new coffee maker if I were to make a small critique. Exterior of the house was charming with nicely done landscaping. Interior clean and comfy beds. Pool was lovely for our two young girls. Cross breezes with the screen doors were amazing. Easy ride to all the North Shore beaches. Note the final road to the rental is insanely bumpy (and we are from the mountains) but it’s a short couple minutes. Definitely hit Johnny Lime in Coral Bay. Loved it here. Will be back.

Wonderful Villa with Fabulous Views!

The pictures cannot describe the great feeling you have from the decks of this villa with lofty views on both sides. Inside, the villa is pristine with a great open floorplan and a very nicely remodeled kitchen that is very well equipped. Everything worked perfectly in the villa except a smoke detector that went on the fritz one morning, but Anthony came and fixed it right away so no problem. Studio apt on lower level was perfect for my son and his girlfriend to stay in with the added privacy. The solar power with battery backup came in handy one night when we had power outage that lasted several hours. Location was good for us - very close to Maho Bay which is one of our favorite beaches. The road up to the villa is a bit steep and bumpy but no problem if you have a jeep. Overall we had a great time and would gladly stay here again!

A perfect home away from home

Can't say enough good things about Woodbine Villa and Emily, the property manager.Woodbine had everything we needed for our family of four, kids ages 10 and 7. The views were absolutely stunning, even better than we could've imagined from the photos in the property listing. We watched the sunrise every morning - it was the most peaceful way to start the day. The property was extremely clean, well-stocked kitchen, beach gear provided, and pool. The kids loved all the animals - deer on the front and back lawn; donkeys in the road; chickens at the bottom of the hill; tree frogs; and hearing the roosters crow. Great location - minutes from the best beaches on the island; short drive to restaurants and other amenities. It was our first trip to St. John and Emily was so communicative, providing many tips and helpful information along the way. We were so sad to leave Woodbine and will miss the breathtaking views from the home. We hope to make it back to St. John and would definitely stay at Woodbine again and recommend to all our friends considering booking a trip.Thank you Emily and Anthony!
