Great accomodation

The house was clean, comfortable and furnished with all what you would need to feel at home. While you definitely need a car for transport, the house is ideally located for quiet and rest in the middle of a tiny village surrounded by vineyards. However, you have to keep in mind that there are very few footpaths around and you have to walk on the normal roads if you feel like exploring the area afoot. The host was very friendly and helpful with clear communications beforehand about how to contact them and how to get to the lodging.

Roomy, well equipped and in a good location

We had three very enjoyable weeks here. Jean-Luc is a lovely host, discreet but available and very helpful when required. The property was clean and well presented and as described. The 'little touches' such as the very useful notelets emphasised the care that has gone into the presentation of the property. There is a lot of space and the summer kitchen and covered external space are excellent options in addition to the garden space where there is also shade available. You have the option of a completely restful holiday or, as we prefer, something a little more active in exploring the region and its culture. We made full use of the 72 hour Bordeaux City Pass and could easily have spent more time there. We found it best to take the train from St Andre de Cubzac to Bordeaux, an easy 25 minutes or so. Alternatively there is the park and ride system using the trams. Driving in Bordeaux is horrendous. We dropped our son at St Jean railway station and needed the 3 hours we had in hand!

Séjour très agréable

Le gîte est très propre et très bien équipé. Au calme, sans être loin des sites touristiques et au milieu des vignobles. Nous avons été très bien reçu et avons pu avoir des conseils sur des lieux à visiter. Merci à Jean Luc et son épouse de nous avoir fait partager leurs connaissances et avoir rendu notre séjour très agréable. C'est une adresse que l'on retient si nous revenons de cette région.

Très bonnes vacances

Location parfaite pour une famille. Merci pour les charmantes attentions rafraîchissantes surtout après quelques heures de route. On reviendra sûrement. Merci à Jean Luc pour son accueil.

Super séjour

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette maison très bien agencée, très fonctionnelle ,très propre avec vraiment tout le nécessaire pour la vie du quotidien. L'endroit est relativement calme et reposant. De belles petites balades à faire aux alentours. Merci à jean-Luc pour son accueille sa gentillesse et la petite attention lors de notre arrivée. Il y a des chances pour que nous revenions à cette endroit que je recommande sans hésiter. Jérémie et Céline.

Location à recommander

Propriétaire aux petits soins avec les locataires.Il est rare de trouver autant de petites attentions(cerises,bouteille de bordeaux,"fond de cuisine" important. ..) Maison très agréable et bien équipée. Seul petit bémol ,l'escalier à pas japonais(qui doit être bientôt remplacé) qui peut poser problème en cas de handicap. Séjour très agréable
