Loved the game room at Maple Station! Plenty of room for families. I did think it was a little odd that the property is connected to the post office. We were there on a holiday weekend so it didn’t really affect us.Neighborhood was nice and quiet. It is about 20 min from Raystown Resort.

With a large yard, fire pit, game room, and lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, this place worked very well for our family reunion of 5 adults and 5 kids. Has a very relaxed decor and vibe. Would like to visit again sometime.

The property was perfect for us because of its proximity to a family member that lived down the road. The house fits a large amount of people comfortably. That being said, Maple Station is due for a refresh. Things are worn and tired. There is a sulfur smell when you turn the water on that dissipates when you run the water but doesn’t totally disappear. AC worked well as did the kitchen appliances. We enjoyed our weekend.

We liked the location of the house, plenty of space for our family/crew.Wasn't clean to our standards.Kitchen is not fully stocked, only one measure cup and one measuring spoon.Only one very small pot for one can of beans, we needed a medium to large pot. We had exlarge pot but no inbetween. Definately vintage place. If you like more modern, this isn't the placeNo AC in the garage/gameroom.

Location to raystown lake was perfect for us.

Aunt Susies were great to work with and very responsive. We enjoyed the quaint village atmosphere and history of the property location. The outdoor space was great and the fire pit was enjoyed by all.

Awesome Visit

The property is perfect for a family or friends get away. With 5 bedrooms, it was a great for each of the people in our group to have a private space. The living room was a great size with plenty of seating for everyone. The owner was super responsive to any questions that we had.

We rented this house because we had a lot of people coming on the trip. I would not recommend the house if you do not need a lot of rooms. The house was clean and check in very easy. The reason for the lower rating was due to a few issues. 1. We had a few issues that required a maintenance call (broken water heater and AC temperature). The maintenance person was not friendly he tried to blame us for the two issues. 2 You do not have access to the upstairs thermostat as it requires a PIN number. We had to contact maintenance to have him change it from 64 degrees to 74. It reset overnight and went back down to 64 degrees so we all ended up freezing all night unable to turn the AC off. 3. This is a small thing but was a bit annoying. They provide clean sheets however the not make up the beds so you need to make

Great vacation get away.

We have a group of 11 motorcycle riders who plan a yearly trip. Aunt Susie's was perfect for this years ride. I We visited many places in the surrounding area including the Flight 93 crash site. Thank you for having us for this years ride.

Awesome Set-up

The "hangout area" in the garage is very cool. We were just looking for a place to stay to go out on the lake, and ended up having just as much fun at the house Friday and Saturday night.

Wonderful property ! Great location for our event at the Grier school. Property management easily contacted and super helpful. The house was cozy, clean and suited us perfectly. We had enough space and room. We would definitely recommend staying at this property. Thank you

Fit the whole family

The home was big enough for our whole family and our dogs. Communication with the hosts was really quick and any issues we had were resolved immediately. I’d recommend bringing your own bath towels and wash cloths; the towels provided are very small and not super absorbent.

Location not as expected

House front is directly on the street. Not a secluded setting. Only get 1 towel. Watch your step. Many offset doorways, etc. Pictures are deceiving. Special lens used for sure. Not terrible, but not as beautiful as expected for the price.

Plenty of room, needs some updates.

Its an old property, in a historic way. Lots of holes and opening in the kitchen cabinets, expected we would see critters but didn't. Some of the furniture was very worn and dirty. The water had a sulfur smell, maybe because it's well water. Towels were terrible, bring your own.. The inside front door handle came off. Lots of space for 2 little children and adults to dotheir own thing. Check in and out was easy.

Hello, We appreciate your constructive criticism. You are correct in it being historical! We have done many projects for Maple Station in the last few years since owning it. Our goal is to make sure that the inside of the home is functional, well working and of course safe. This house was built in 1860, our Inn gives the flavor of time since past! It will be a lifetime of preserving Maple Station while keeping that historical feeling.

Christmas 2022

The property was very cozy. The garage became our favorite place. Keep in mind that it is an older home and a bit drafty downstairs. However, there are plenty of blankets, maybe bring slippers if you stay in the winter. The only issue we had was when we arrived. I never received an email with check in instructions or the code for the door. This was resolved fairly easily. If you appreciate quiet country location close to the lake like we do, I highly recommend this location.

Great location for Seven Points access!

Overall, we had a really nice time and the location met our needs. The game room was especially great - our families spent the evenings there eating, playing games and watching TV. The yard is big - we brought a croquet set and had a blast playing outside. We also ended up having to bring a dog last minute and there was lot of space for him to sniff and play. We had a fire in the firepit 2 nights and really enjoyed it! Communication was super fast with the host - we didn't have toilet paper upon arrival, but they brought some to us quickly. Having central air was great and the house was always comfortable. The only things worth noting are that the building is attached to a post office and the walls are really thin. We loved that everyone could have their own bedroom, but you could hear everything once someone was up. A mattress upgrade would make a huge difference - rooms are well sized, but beds are old and noisy. And would just recommend bringing your own/extra paper towels or dish towels.

Nice place but had some problems.

The place was nice however we had a couple issues. There were dead black bugs through the hallway and on the floor in the one bedroom. The one bathroom has a nail sticking up in the floor that my father in-law snagged on and cut his foot. The main TV was broken and the second had no remotes. The AC in the living room was missing the piece to plug into the wall and wasn’t working. We used the ceiling fan in the kitchen and had a bunch of hair/dirt fall down on the table. There was dog poop in the yard and the grill was disgusting. The company did give us a gift certificate for our next stay if we choose to book again.

The TV was broken when they arrived unfortunately, I did not know this. I did have the TV replaced and gave them full credits for another booking.
