「Just an Old Farm House」は快適で居心地の良いカントリーハウスです。

We purchased this old family home from my husbands grandfather. We are the second generation now to own this property. The house has been dated to the pre-civil war era.

It needed a lot of work both inside and outside. Old houses are a labor of love. My husband and I have LOVED this house, we have taken our time updating it and now feel it is ready for visitors to stay. We look forward to having you visit and stay! We love to get feedback so please feel free to give us your constructive criticism.

We are continuing to upgrade and repair the home but want to keep many of the original pre-civil war features. As you walk through the house just think about how old the beautiful floor are!

We make our own real Maple syrup from all the sugar maples that you will see around the property in early spring.

In early to middle fall we collect the wild apple from around the old farm and we press them make the best apple cider.

We are perfectly situated in Central NY with Utica NY (home of the boilermaker 15k road race) 20 miles northwest and Cooperstown (so well known for the baseball hall of fame and the Dreams Park)20 miles south west. And so much more in between.

UTICA- is home to many ethnic different cuisines, locally owned restaurants as well as chain restaurants. Tomato pie, halfmoon cookies, Chicken Riggies and Utica greens are just a few foods you dont want to miss. Of course nothing compare to our Pizza. Don't forget about the Saranac brewery. Do you love trains? Utica has a beautiful train station that host rides to the gateway of the Adirondacks. The Utica Zoo is a small day trip with hundreds of animal to see.

Verona-Turning Stone Casino and golf Resort. Vernon Down Racetrack (horse racing)

COOPERSTOWN home of Americas favorite past time; the Base Ball hall of fame and Dreams Park is a short scenic drive. You can take the highway or the back roads thru the hills. There are some spectacular views. Ommegang brewery and the Rustic ridge winery are great stops on your way back.

OLD FORGE- features NY's largest family water park~The Enchanted Forest Water Safari~ The Adirondacks are beautiful to hike through.
Old forge is also home to the largest General Store, its fun to walk through.

More local to this house we have a ice cream parlor with a brand new beautiful mini golf course that is a 5 minute drive.

Grocery store, gas station, drug store, McDonald's, Liquor store, Pizza and Chinese restaurants are all within a 7 minute drive.

We have several local Amish families that have a variety store and it is open to the public. The local tavern and general store that serve breakfast and lunch within a few minutes.

If you love to fish the Millers Mills hamlet has great fishing in the pond which is the beginning to the Unadilla River.

We allow you to place a tent on the property for those kids that enjoy the "camping" aspect of staying in the country.

Have nice camp fire, we will provide the first bundle of fire wood. *please let us know ahead so we can have wood available*

We allow the family pooch to come and stay (large kennel available for rent for the times you cant take him/her with you).
